Nice open native grass park within the city. Good place for a walk or picnic, but no play equipment for kids.

Wide open spaces!

I have been a couple of times to this park and I am looking for a big tree in one of the hidden trails, do any of you know where to find it? It’s in the pictures above, I’d really like to see it!

Should b trimmed down more for some of the younger walkers or older ones

Fun disc golf course with nice elevation changes. Bit of a hike in though.

I love to run here in the warm season and I always see dog walkers and other people also enjoying the park. Although it closes pretty early its a great place for picnics and very well kept up. Grass and trails are always maintained and its not too muddy after normal rainfall.

Terrific! But thats because I Aced hole 7! Little difficult for your first time/round figuring out the course. Well maintained, no trash, and Manhatten is a beautiful place to be anyway!.. Duh!

Its a decent open field. Though the sign says that all dogs should be on leash, sometimes they arent. I dont mind when it is clear that the owners have good recall established with their dog. I *am* concerned about the owners who arent 1) picking up after their dogs, 2) not paying attention to their dog and/or 3) have no control, much less, recall established with their off-leash dog. It can be gorgeous, but Id also be extra cautious for these reasons.

I had my wedding here because its a small park that only certain people even know about. Thanks to that its always clean and quiet and the people you do meet out there are nice and usually will say hi as you pass each other. We walk the dog out there now and have previously checked out one of the trails which eventually landed us in someones backyard. I hope they didnt mind!

Park has long trails and can almost make you forget you are in the middle of a housing development. Great 9 hole disc golf course with a good mix of tree shots and wide open shots all over a varying terrain. Pet-friendly as well.

Ive played many rounds of disc golf here and walked portions of the trails. Everything is pretty well maintained. The open space where the DG course is is on a high point for Manhattan, so it has some nice views. There is a covered picnic area too.

Basic open space that is maintained and fun to explore. Good for dogs. No paved sidewalks. The picnic tables need some attention.

Just visiting Kansas and was looking for a frisbee golf course and ran into this place. We decided to go for a walk and enjoyed every moment of it.

I grew up in this area, it has beautiful scenery and pinic spots. Just gorgeous

Disc golf course is one of the best in the region, and the park offers stunning views of Manhattan.

Disc Golf Course. Lots of open space for hiking. Found Morrell Mushrooms under some pine trees last spring. There are some picnic tables and shelter and an improved trail. Best place to access disc golf course is parking area and trailhead behind Arbys.

Best place to play disc golf in manhattan hands down!
