Finally made it here after a year of talking about it. The wait wasnt long at all. The scheduling of a time.is convient. The room.is ready to go when you arrive.We didnt do a room that was to hard in our mind but it was very immersive and engaging. Not boring at all. We actually where 99% done. 5 more mins and bingo! Staff is friendly as well. Overall great experience

Super fun! Our family had a blast solving the hardest room. It definitely takes teamwork and putting level heads together to figure everything out. The staff did a great job of facilitating as well and helped out tremendously when we were stumped. I would recommend this place to anybody and hope to go again sometime soon!

My husband and I took my daughter and several of her friends there for her birthday. We had almost completed our room when we uncovered a tool needed for the final clue but it was broken which prevented us from getting to the final clue. It was literally the last clue and we had less than five minutes left in the room. We called and told the girl up front about it but she said there was nothing that they could do about it. So I basically spent all that money to have a broken piece cause us to not solve the mystery. Very disappointing that she didnt stop the clock, come in and fix it, and then restart the clock. Ive been to several locked rooms in KC and other places and never once had a problem with broken parts in the room. All parts should be checked and replaced or repaired before they let anyone use the rooms. Its the last time we have gone there. Poor customer service. It should have been handled better.

The escape rooms are awesome and has plenty of clever puzzles and mind games to keep you occupied while trying to find your way out.

Enjoyed a family outing to Locked. We did the Outpost 10 room. It was a fairly good escape room compared to others Ive done, but not the best. We had an issue getting one of the clues to work though we had it right - they helped us out quickly! And best of all, we escaped!

Tried out the Outpost 10 room and we escaped, success! Venue was located in a convenient location within Manhattan and was well organized. Several of the clues were quite unique (not giving away any spoilers), which made the room exciting, even for those in our group who had completed 25+ other escape rooms. Our group had 6 members which was a good number for the room we were in. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 as one of the major clues was broken (although quickly remedied by the staff) and this was an above average escape room venue, but not among the top 5.

Such an excellent time! The staff was fun and made us first-timers feel welcomed. The puzzles were hard, but we felt like intellectual giants when we completed one.

Had a BLAST at Locked Manhattan. I double and triple checked that they would be open on Thanksgiving and they were. Despite being the only visitors on a cold and dreary day, Josh could not have been more gracious and friendly. Such incredible service and Locked is very fortunate to have a staff member like him! He showed the ropes to some of the newbies in our group with such enthusiasm, it made us feel so excited to escape! As eager and into it as he was, youd think he hadnt said the same spiel hundreds and hundreds of times. So much fun and we cant wait to do it again!The room itself (The Witching Hour) was a lot of fun. The flow to the puzzles was great. There arent any red herrings and each puzzle was just challenging enough. Its a perfect first room for a newbies and for experienced escapers.

Had a blast. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our first room and look forward to completing the next. Reservations were easy to make online and staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend as a fun date or as a work/ team building opportunity.

The room we did was super fun, and the employees were friendly. They made sure that even though we had two toddlers doing the room with us that it was fun for everyone. I would definitely go back

Fairly challenging rooms, but no gimmicky puzzles or tricks. Friendly staff. Definitely would recommend for a fun afternoon or evening!

Really good price for the amount of detail and complexity that is put into these rooms. Tons of variety and variation in topic and difficulty. Big downside is some of the locks just wont open even if you have the right code. Also some of the puzzles are really hard to figure out due to having many more pieces that fit than are required. Will need to return to visit another room and hopefully have better luck.

Great place to come to with a group of friends. We did the Dalton Plan and the Dinner Party. Dalton is hard but we escaped!

Well run and unique escape rooms with a very friendly staff. They have rooms to accommodate any skill level which is nice. I cant wait to try them all!

Very fun way to waste an hour! However a little pricey i think our group of six was around 160$ after all taxes and fees. However it was a great time and they do an absolute excellent job at creating a fun mystery! Thank you locked Manhattan!

One of the best escape rooms Ive ever been too. There are different rooms for all levels of difficulty from easy to extremely hard. The staff is very nice and they add to the drama of the rooms. I wish they would change the rooms regularly. The price is very reasonable for the entertainment received. They dont sell drinks so you will have to hydrate before you arrive.

Good place to stop while in town of youre into this kinda puzzle solving thing. Bring some friends you definatly need more than one mind to make it through the different rooms. With in walking distance from the local hotels if youre just here for a few days. Good experience.

Ive been to a lot of escape rooms and I think this one is my favorite. The clues are tough, but arent all sequential so there is enough for a group to investigate without having people standing around with nothing to do. I also appreciated that not everything is a padlock with numbers.The space itself is nice and was easy to find. I will likely return for another escape room at this location.

This place is a hidden gem. I have completed over 60 escape rooms at this point, and these rooms rank up there with the best of them. My group and I had SO MUCH FUN doing three of the rooms here (Witching Hour, The Dalton Plan, and The Dinner Party). All three rooms so well designed and built with puzzles to stump but also satisfy. The things you had to do were very intuitive and we yelled and laughed our way through the whole thing. And we were the first team of 4 to ever break out of The Dalton Plan!! Jessica and Joshua were amazing with their hospitality and generosity. Definitely an experience not to be missed!!! Go, go, go!!

This is always a fun way to get together with friends and be entertained. Weve made it and we havent. Probably not something to do all of the time, and its a little on the expensive side. But wed definitely recommend it, especially if you havent tried it before.

Spending the evening at Locked was wonderful and very challenging. Even though we did not solve all the puzzles it was a great experience and something different to do in Manhattan. This would be great for team building with coworkers or a couples date night. I am not sure how children would do with the puzzles, some are very complicated.

Great experience for our family. The host was informative and open to answering the many questions fueled by our first time escape room jitters. Within the room, each clue accrued increased our enthusiasm for solving our mystery. A few minutes to review the highlights of our familys adventure would have put the experience over the top. That being said, we had a wonderful experience. I look forward to our next adventure at Locked Manhattan.

So fun!! We were SO close to escaping! (We choose the hardest one). The more people the better - that way you have more ideas going between everyone! (We had 8 people, and a newborn strapped to my chest.)

6 of us went in to Outpost 10 and we did not make it out. We absolutely LOVED this challenge. 5/6 of us are gamers and, I dont even think any of us were disappointed we didnt get out because we had THAT much fun!!! The puzzles were challenging, but each one of us was able to contribute something to the group. Jessica was great at leading us and giving hints when we needed them. She was a lot of fun to work with and we appreciated her giving us tips on other local gaming places too!

We did this for our nineteen year old birthday. It was a blast, the room was challenging but fun. The staff was great. Definitely try it out

Our experience at Locked was not only fun but also addicting! After getting a taste of what an escape room was about we have tried several other rooms across the country. I must say the other places do not hold a candle to our experience here. It is apparent that the rooms are very well thought out with very intricate detail. They did not require us to go in with strangers even though our party was only three people. Its very clear they want to ensure that they provide a fun experience for their customers. I will continue to recommend Locked to anyone I know in the Manhattan area!

This joint is legit! Best to bring as many synchronized friends as you can when you celebrate because some of these rooms will work your brainstorming/observation skills.

Great themed room escape rooms for Manhattan! Been here twice now and is definitely a great place to bring a group of friends. Currently 1/2 on escaping the room.

Seriously such a great time every time. My girlfriend and have dared to try several rooms, just the two of us, and will continue to lose a very vigorous battle with well designed rooms.

We had a lot of fun as a family. Our youngest is 7 and he was able to play.

We first did The Witching Hour which was our introduction to escape rooms in general. The puzzles werent impossible and the hints arent complete give-aways but they nudge you in the right direction. We were so close to beating The Witching Hour we had to come back for Honor Among Thieves; we were not disappointed. Even though this was a harder room we were able to beat it in record time (at the time). We couldnt wait for the next room and just yesterday we tried The Dinner Party. Best. Room. Ever. It is the most difficult of the three but still soooo much fun! The puzzles were challenging and we ended up getting a few more hints but we got out! Even though we arrived late and were about 30 seconds from having to reschedule, Zach was very cordial and we were able to keep our booking. This place is awesome!P.S. The best thing about this place is that they dont group you with strangers. We cant be all brand-new and gentle meeting new people when theres a time limit and bragging rights on the line. #CmonSon
