Good place for running/biking but expect spiders every couple feet in the wooded sections

This is a very peaceful place once you get far enough up river from the noise of Hwy24.If you dont mind traffic noise, it is even better. The old buried pickup was a great find.Many people do not know you can hike Linear Trail from Fort Riley to Kansas City, or that a half dozen parks are near the trail for camping.That tree with all the burls is really unique.If you want to launch a boat though, have a strong truck. This ramp is steeper than the ones both upstrean & downstream.

Nice ramp to the Blue and Kaw rivers. Entrance is right- in/right-out and gravel parking area has significant potholes. Busy area with recreational bicycle, walk, jog, and river traffic.

Very good running trail.

Love the water, the trails, the bridge but it was a bummer that a person couldnt enjoy stepping off the path! The trail was the only way kept clear sadly. No spot cleared of brush enough to just park it on a log.

I rode on the Big Blue singletrack. It was kinda cleaned up. There were quite a few trees down and the trees that were cut were not cut away from the trail. Super dangerous.

This park is well kept, has some nice wooded trails as well as some paved trails. The wooded dirt trails look like a lot of mountain bikers use them. I havent done that yet, but it looks like it would be a good time. I may get a bike and go there. Otherwise, youll get some good views and some solidarity in nature there.

Love this trail for early morning walk/jog. Fresh air and nice view. Watch for the bikers. It has a wooden trail and asphalt one. Always go nature side.
