This park packs a lot of interest in a small area. It is Veterans Memorial Park foremost with recognition of all branches of the military done very tastefully. It offers a real nice playground space for all ages. The paved trail heads downhill from the parking lot making a loop through a wooded area and back up. I find it to be a great place to take my dog for a brisk comfortable walk away from the populated area surrounding it.

We visit this city park every day if the weather allows. Perfect place to walk our pup. Nice area for families. The adults can keep an eye on their children as they picnic and play on age appropriate equipment and natural areas.

We stopped here to let the kids rest after a busy morning at Suson Park and visiting relatives. At first the park didnt look like much more than a military memorial until I walked back a ways and found the playground pictured hidden in the park off to the side. My eldest woke up with enough time to get a fifteen minute tryout of the park before we needed to leave.
