Nice theatre, bar service was friendly and staff also friendly. The covid guidelines were reasonable and we actually enjoyed having no one in front or next to us. Overall nice experience.
Love the Palace Theater in Manchester we go often and are members. Most shows are 39.00 dollars each for tickets. Cant beat a nice night out and a good show for under $100.00 for 2 tickets. If you become members you get 2 free tickets each year also. Also some good restaurants near by that the theater gives coupons to members.
Was a little nervous to go to an indoor venue, during Covid-19...first time out to a place like this, in a year. Went last night, for our 21st wedding anniversary, to see Juston McKinney (hes hilarious, by the way). When we went to be seated the seated patrons in the row noted that we seemed to be sitting a little close, with only one empty seat between us. The usher agreed and went to work it out so we could be moved. We were moved to even better seats and I believe we had 2 or 3 empty rows both in front of us, and behind us. Our row was just the two of us on our end, and two other people at the other end. The entire venue was socially-distanced well. Id say about half of us decided to keep masks on, but it was spaced out so well that masks off would have been fine! Not only were the ushers(and bartender) friendly, but because the attendees felt at ease, everyone was cheerful and happy to be there. We noticed, as we left and they prepared for the next show, that the staff were all busily washing down the seats, etc, with spray bottles and paper towels. Great job, Palace!
Great place to see a show or concert. Always enjoy the smaller theatres - you can see no matter where you sit.
Great little venue to watch a show. Have never had a bad seat, always a pretty good line of sight to the stage. Seen a few different types of shows here, little shop of horrors and recycled percussion to name a few. Especially for its age, everything is in good condition that I could see. Bathrooms are in working order. Im 62 and the seats actually have a little bit of room so you dont feel like your sitting in the lap of the person next to you or your knees are in your chest. I recommend this venue to go see a show at.
Awesome! Place I met David Cassidy at the meet an greet October 13 2016 it was the best night of my life!!! RiP David :(
This theater is so beautiful. The staff are so kind.
Just great and very safe. They greet you with a warm welcome and my children absolutely loves watching the Disney summer series. We plan to attend each week.
Saw Bob Marely the Comedian and had a really good time. The only down fall is the line for any drinks was ridiculous. So get there early if drinking is your thing!
Loving the summer childrens series! Weve seen two shows so far and both have been AMAZINGLY done!! Cant wait for next weeks show!
We love the Palace they do a good job of social distancing
First public outing since March. The Palace had worked out a very nice arrangement to keep the social distancing. So sad tho to see so many empty seats.
Great entertainment while keeping everyone safe!
Its always a great time when I go to The Palace. So thankful such an historic building like this still exists today.
One of my favorite places in Manchester! They have great shows and do a lot in the community. Take advantage of all they have to offer, you dont see this much programme anywhere else nearby. I love going to see shows and keeping up with their latest news. The Palace is also a beautiful theater worth a visit any time!
What a fantastic theater. Classical setting .Adult beverages (and kids too) before you enter. Plenty of friendly ushers to show you to your seat. The production was absolutely perfect.Saw The Christmas Carol. They did such a great job bringing the full meaning of Christmas. Music, dancing, acting was all on point.Would highly recommend . Great for the family .Took my 6 year old and he was really into
Beautiful exhibits and great employees.
I cant say enough good things about the palace. We are so lucky to have such a real gem in Manchester. The shows are great, concessions are awesome, staff is perfect. And, I got a wonderful thank you not for being a member. Everyone should be a member. The Palaces staff have gone out of their way to accommodate me multiple times.Yep, the Palace is awesome.
A beautiful theater with amazing acoustics! Ticket prices are very reasonable and a membership is only $75! The staff were wonderful. The merchandise was cash only so be prepared...there is not an ATM at the venue.
Spaced seating, appreciate for Covid, beautiful atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff/volunteers. Affordable.
The Palace Theatre is a great venue for fun family entertainment. We just enjoyed Mamma Mia! And had the best time. How convenient to have this wonderful entertainment right here in Manchester so easy to get to and plenty of parking.
They put on great plays here, with terrific actors and gorgeous set design. If you are visiting Manchester, I would highly reccomend seeing a play here, as they are usually superb. The theater itself looks very nice, with a good amount of seats and a lot of space. Tickets arent to expensive, which is great.
I like how the entrance looked with all the lights on the s. Inside looks nice. Seats are a little small. If you sit directly in front of the stage, you may have a problem seeing what is going on with the performance in the back. Sound was good, in fact, it was loud at times. I sawSpamalot and I had a great time. Bathroom, though in good shape, was overstocked with supplies. The Palace Theater is a good place for an off Broadway performance. Parking garage nearby. Wifi was spotty, even guest relations had a problem. All of the staff were friendly and professional.
My friend bought tickets for the tusk show, will call tickets. They were easy to pick up, lines flowed smoothly, not a long wait for a drink. Not a bad seat in the house really. Good show.
Bob Marley was a riot! Comfy seats!
Clean,safe venue...Comedy show terrific
What a great venue for a show or concert. The staff were wonderful and helpful. Im sure well be returning for future events.
Live theater! Whats better? Historic theater that doesnt have a bad seat in the house. Of you are in the area you should see if anything is playing!
The palace theatre is such a beautiful venue. The seats are fantastic no matter where you sit. The staff are extremely professional and helpful. And the actors are always amazing. We see plays with our kids and they love it every time. We also see plays just the 2 of us and have an amazing time with other adults. My favorite venue for a good play with a fancy feeling
Nice old theater. Good acoustics and sight lines. Balcony seating is for short people, but a great place to watch an opera!
Always a fantastic show! Staff there couldnt be nicer! (Just wish the seating was a little roomier.)
Staff was professional, and showed excellent hospitality. The theatre was clean and comfortable. The bar had beer and wine. We saw the show Recycled Percussion - which was awesome.
This venue is absolutely amazing! Just the right size to get great views, awesome sounds and great shows! They do an excellent job with the youth!
Great venues but not convenient parking. Being in downtown Manchester gives you a variety places to visit after a show. Prices for tickets are reasonable but the seats are somewhat small and close together.
The Palace Theater is the gift that keeps on giving. A well preserved theater with its share of old time charm is the back drop for a vast array of plays, musicals and concerts. I have never seen a bad show there and I have gone may 12-15 times. It is intimate enough so there are no bad seats. There are cocktails at intermission and a private room if you have a VIP membership. It is very affordable - particularly compared to say...Boston venues. I highly recommend it...it is a treasure.
Amazing venue! I had an amazing time. The Palace is beautiful and timeless and the sound was fabulous! Thanks for an amazing night with Blue Oyster Cult!!!!
British experience was excellent
I have been bringing my childrens to the childrens series productions for the past 3 summers. The shows are really high quality and entertaining. The 45 min run time is perfect for children and there is a lot of singing and dancing. We usually stay after the show to take pictures with and get autographs from the stars who are always friendly.
I enjoy the shows that they put on but the seats are small for people that have hard time with the seats there tight and no leg room
Awesome venue! Opened in 1915, Houdini actually performed here! A true treasure in NH! A must visit in my opinion!
Beautiful theater, helpful staff.
Great show and social diatancing
Omg absolutely!!amazing!!best place ever to have any type of event!Aaaand Recycled Percussion was super super super awesome tonight!! ️️
Saw an ACDC cover band. There was technical difficulty in the beginning, but they got things working! I had so much fun. The band was shooting a video during the concert and it was neat to watch all the videographers.
Saw Aladdin with my grandson. stayed to see the cast.we saw little mermaid last week.he had a blast and said was fun and gives it 5 stars.so there you have it, from the mouths of babes. (Well 8 year old) It was fun.
Great venue. Just the right size. Nice part if town.
The staff was very unaccommodating to my group of elderly clients. Refused us fast access to our medical devices which they moved into a closet during the show. The performance was wonderful & my group enjoyed watching. Just beware if you have wheelchairs & walkers....... The theater staff seems to think you dont need that stuff to use the restroom.
Great place to bring family but the staff does not take care of the customer properly
Nutcracker was good! The theatre has a great nostalgic feel for an old place. Lovely!
Had a blast. First time going to the Palace theater, Cozy place definitely will go back.
Shows have been fantastic - really high quality acting and singing, and not a bad seat in the house! I’d also recommend the summer camp - best camp we’ve done! Fun, engaging, and the final shows were AMAZING!!! We will be coming back for years to come (to camp) and becoming members :)
Such a great new venue and Jake Clemens (and his band) was awesome! We cant wait to go back :)
Theres not a bad seat in The Palace Theater. Love it every time.
The Palace has great entertainment for everyone. The plays that are there are quality. It’s like going to shows in Boston without the stress of the traffic and the expense of the parking.
We came here on New years day to see chaos and kindness and not only were they beyond amazing but so was the theatre i was super impressed and it was cozy
Awesome good fun i have met one or actors there and cool fun to go to for a show
Pretty amazing aside from the $6 mini bottle of water ushers were helpful. Venue was clean and authentic.
The palace is a remarkable place to visit. They have something for everyone throughout the year. Affordable prices, great seat options. Definitely recommend giving it a try
Great theatre, fantastic location and a perfect size. Stage is a little small for Broadway type shows but it works and the sound is great!
Great recycled precaution show, balcony seats felt like you are still right in the show Unfortunately they still charged my under one year old baby for a seat
1st time there...Had a blast....I would recommend going there to everyone
Always a great place to go for real good shows at a low expense.
Love the palace! I danced there as a kid and now enjoy shows a few times throughout every year. Staff is helpful, multiple bars throughout, multiple bathrooms, and wide variety of shows. Ive seen cabaret, bad, dancing Queen, bob Marley (the comedian), and so many other shows and entertainers here. Lots of great food options within walking distance and parking is usually pretty easy and not too pricey. So glad this theatre is so close.
Awesome architecture and details inside and outside of the building! Sound was wonderful and well balanced all over the building!
This was a treat for my 89 year old dad to enjoy this wonderful musical. When we found out there was not an elevator the staff made the extraordinary effort to find us seats on main level. Amazing kindness
The seating is gastly, I am only 56 and I had to sit sideways into the isle just so I would not keep squirming to get comfortable. Worse than an airline seat. The show was Flash dance, I should have stayed home and watched the new series High School Musical, I would have been comfortable and the show itself would have been profesional, worst first half of a musical of my life!
Always an excellent experience. Our girls love going to see the childrens summer theatre. The plays and productions are always incredible.
Not a bad seat in the house.friendly staff and lots of great shows . From Beatles to great plays. Love it
The Palace is top notch with entertainment for everyone in the family. Become a member today!
The Palace Theater overall was a nice place. I saw The Wizard of Oz the night of the 20th. The costumes and set were innovative, and the acting was great. What I didnt like was the fact that I went to a show that is loved by many and held dear by many only to have a scene from the story to be portrayed by men dressed in drag. I brought my daughter to this to enjoy an evening together. To enjoy a story that we both knew, and for it to be twisted in this way I feel was unnecessary. I was very disappointed in it and also disappointed that I spent $100 for these two tickets.
The Palace Theater is a beautiful historical theater. Parking and dinner options are convenient located. The shows are well done and enjoyable.
This place brings magic & smiles every single day! I love everything & Everyone there! Wish I worked there I would never leave
We saw a wonderful production of The Nutcracker and enjoyed friendly staff, great lighting and acoustics, and naturally a great show. Convenient parking quite near by.
What a fantastic place! There are no bad seats and the talent for Secret Garden completely blew me away. I felt like I was in Boston more than Manchester NH! I loved it so much I went twice.
Classic performance venue that hosts excellent productions. Reasonable parking options for most shows.
There really is no beating this place. Fantastic shows, wonderful theater, and amazing membership benefits. I love supporting the Palace and encourage everyone else to! A truly great asset to all of New Hampshire.
Small intimate venu to see plays and concerts at a reasonable price
Nice old theater, still has many years to go
Recycled percussion was awesome. Nice venue
Great time there and friendly people and staff.
This theatre has such a history to it. Ive been to the palace theatre since I was a kid. And its placed perfectly in downtown Manchester. I just wish there was better parking. Though there is the parking garage just behind it.
Great place to see a show, old time theater with great seating. No bad seats in the house
A really cool place to hang out at. If you want a little break from the norm then check it out.
Piano Men was fantastic. A must see
Show was excellent. Three times went there and each time it was fantastic.
