Nice walk along the river. Picnic tables available. Daw ducks and other aquatic fowl. Litter, weeds and some graffiti take away from the charm. Parking free on weekends. I still recommend a visit.

Nice view, plenty of parking. You can walk a little or a lot. If you want to get out of house for a minute and stay in town, this is one of my favorites.

Cool place, too small though. Great view of the river, but also a great view of the huge parking lot, bigger than the actual park.

Spacious. Plenty of parking. Picnic tables to eat at. Restrooms close by. Great views. Clear n easy to follow directions. On weekend events there is no parking meter price. Had an absolute blast at Boston Bruins fan fest for the 3rd year in a row.

Located behind the UNH its a beautiful riverside area to watch the stream and walk alongside the river.

This is a park that has so many great views and attractions sometimes I cant believe its in Manchester. Dog walks in the park here are simply awesome.

I came here with my gf and her friend. We just went down a set of stairs and watch the river flow. This place has benches you can sit on and it has a nice walking trail that goes along the river banks. Its a very calming and relaxing place to sit by the river

Every year you can come and view beautiful fireworks for 4th of July. Also a great spot just to take a walk by the water. Have done a lot of Pokemon hunting in this area!

I enjoy how quiet and clean it can be here. Nice place to walk in the afternoons. The city has put up plenty of colorful seating and benches. Interesting as well are the local fauna to people watch from said benches and chairs.

The park overall is beautiful. The 2 stars is because they trash is overflowing onto the ground daily. It never gets emptied. At night, there are people doing drugs and blasting loud music. The park could be amazing if they cleaned it up and stopped the drug use in it.

My favorite city park in Manchester! I like its proximitt to the ricer in the middle of downtown.I dontt like how small it is and that it does not connect to any kind of longer heritage trail

Last time i was here wasnt the best. It was full of trash, heroin needles, and drug addicts. I would definitely not bring children here. If the city would clean up the area and get rid of the drug addicts hanging around it would look and feel a lot better going here. Until then, Ill stay far away!

This is a nice little strip of park under a bridge by the waterside. There are benches and picnic tables, with good spacing even for plus size folks. Note for parents the stairs down to the water are not blocked off so it is a risk. You can reach the river.

A nice little oasis stuck in the midst of a busy city. We sat by the stairs and watched a couple of ducks doing duck stuff. Im happy this place is kept clean and not heavily littered, which was an expectation of mine since its Manchester. A nice place to relax and sit and reflect for a while on a busy day. Theres a lot of places to sit which is nice. I just wish there were more things to do, but its difficult because of the location and space. I will come back on days where there are events happening there.

Its nice and in these busy days you can sit in that park and listen water flowing and it rejuvenate your energy.

If youre gonna have a picnic in downtown Manchester may as well do it on the waterfront. Its just the crowd is, well... Manchester.

Nice park near the river. Ralph Baer (father of videogames) bench. Close to Cotton restaurant and Waterworks cafe. Tons of students often here because its near SNHU.

Awesome fire works display! Sat too close apparently because we were bombarded with falling chunks. Also missed having the hot dogs and pizza available. But the fireworks made up for that! The band was great.

Went here for the 2019 july 4th fireworks. Park was noce but there was a lot of broken glass on the riverside walkway. I thought they wouldve done a better cleanup before such a big event.

The park itself is nice but there is a lot of deviant activities going on around that area, I personally have witnessed some sketchy events with some even more sketchy people.

A place to go and think alone

Not a true part really, there is no grass at all. Is more like a nice place to look at the river. There are no benches there however this is where the fireworks shoot off for the 4th of July. The area is pretty historic so its nice in that regard and there are steps which lead down to the river

The riverfront is nice with stairs down to the water. Beautiful fall colors. Ill have to transfer the photos from my camera. Restrooms were tiewrapped shut.

Arms park! What can I say.

Never considered a park. Basically some grass and trees along the riverside behind mill buildings and parking areas. Good for a short walk or place to hang and here the river flow.

I feel like I spent half my childhood here biking around the huge parking lot, climbing on the stairs down the the water, and kayaking in the rapids under the bridge. If you get a chance to paddle here, I recommend it even if the water sometimes stinks.

To many homeless and addicts begging for change or cigs

My first time there and cant wait to see it in spring and summer. Went Christmas morning so parking was free, Haha

The city is trying to gentrify this area, but there are too many degenerates leaving trash around and sleeping on the staircase.

I was here for a Halloween Race, not much of a park, but Lots of parking, and it does have great access to the Merrimack River, and within walking distance lots of nice restaurants and bars.

Pluses: next to river, two pokestops, next to Stark Brewery, annual festivals.Cons: more parking than park. Tiny, and river access is...horrible.

Great lunch time place to stroll on a good day, avoid past dark(as with all of Manchester).
