Lots of homeless people there that leave teach and other things. Use to be a lovely place to go watch concerts at and I think they may have put on play there as well. The held car show events there. Its kinda upsetting to watch all those great memories of beautiful places in the city I grow up just be covered by trash tents and sleeping bags all over. Of crime drugs and violence.

We go here for a lot of race events. Its a cute park surrounded by a lot of local business and a great center point for events.

They need ti clean up the homeless and it would be a beautiful picnic area

I went there in fall season and saw beautiful fall colors there. Just so scenic. Do remember to bring your coffee with you so you can sip it while seating on the bench and looking at this beautiful park view.

Used to be taken over by the homeless and druggie population. New laws protect the parks and allow us to be able to come back and spend time there without being bombarded by the homeless and people asking for money. Also catch a bus here.

Homeless people every where. Dont get me wrong some of them are nice but others arent. The park itself is pretty cool. The music shows there are awesome but its grass in a concrete jungle. I wish veterans Park was known for something better.

Its a beautiful public park, however, its been going downhill. a lot of people have mentioned the homeless and the questionable crowd and their reviews but I urge you dont consider it.the crowd of people that hang out there may not appear on the surface to be the people you want around but they genuinely are good people for the most part that hang out in that Park all day. Ive never had any trouble with them but my biggest issue of the park is the fountain which isnt on for some reason...that Fountain is the only other thing in the park besides the stage which is only used occasionally I dont need a playground or paths or anything for a park just a space of green but when your only thing in the park is a fountain and a stage use three times a year, the fountain better work.

Its a nice park as long as the homeless arent around to bother you. I sit on the memorial bench for lunch sometimes and it is peaceful.

This is a small but pretty park in the center of Manchester. With immediate access to the Manchester bus system.

Lovely park for entertainment mainly but also beautiful just to enjoy the day. There is plenty of room for sitting or chairs if you are attending a concert or an event. (Sorry, its all grass so bring a chair or blanket as no chairs are here permanently.) They did have food trucks there but I am sure thay varies between what events are happening. The park was incredibly clean. There were people who were picking up trash the second it hit the ground. Very attentive park staff. I think they could have done better with supplying enough bathrooms because those were not clean at all. Just opted not to use the bathrooms. But my experience here was great and fun for the whole family.

I love the concerts and movies that are done in the summer months, but I avoid the park at any other time.

Like anywhere else in Manchester, its a beautiful location filled with iffy people. The park is beautifully maintained especially when you consider the people mistreating it.It breaks my heart to see what this city was and all the potential it has, but always present are the constant reminders of how our society has been failing. I have high hopes for the future but its going to be a long uphill climb, and I hope the solutions are equitable because if they arent, then they arent really solutions.

I wish they would do a bit more about the drugs and paraphernalia in the park.

Great Park right in the middle of Manchester. Theres a bus stop in public bathrooms. Theres a big stage but Ive never seen it used...yet.

Wonderful morning. Heard TJ and the Xpress playing live music under the big tent. Sounded awesome. Loved all the cool cars and very clean park. Great weekend event.

Nice place to get some quiet and in a good lication downtown but usually have a lot of panhandlers asking for change and cigarettes

Very nice flowers added to the park by the memorial, well kept, clean. Intown doing a great job this Summer bringing good bands to Thurday nights downtown. Proud of my city!

Nice park, clean environment, has great concerts during summer.

Homeless numbers keep ramping up, though most will leave you alone. You do get the entertainment of random people having arguments with their significant others as if they were in a private setting.. with the occasional utterance of a death threat.

Worthless park no playground or large grass space to play games. The crowd of people that hang out there are not the best of people. They have the needle exchange there on Sunday 2-4 and thats the best thing going at this park. To stop the spread of STDs let anyone you know thats using drugs with a syringe

I was here to run the Cigna race. Generally a good place to have a sandwich and people watch on a lunch break in the city.

Watch where you, your children or your dog steps. Have found needles on the ground and broken glass. The city tries to stay on top of it but theres only so much they can do

Nice park with lots of events in the summer. If there is no event, theres a homeless problem in Manchester and they are often here, which makes some people uncomfortable.

Its a down town Manchester park. Some nice memorials, and a seasonal stage & tent. They will have music & shows on select nights. In the nicer weather this park will gather a mixed crowd after sunset. There are also 2 Pokemon Go stops & a gym in the park if that is your game.

Really have cleaned it up in recent years. The porta potties are a great improvement for the whole area.

The place was trash strewn, there were people constantly asking for handouts. Now I am not heartless, but while walking around town just about everybody is hiring, but nobody is applying. Most of those people asking for handouts can and should try working for a living.

It was a very humbling visit.Each name meant a life given.The names of each veteran gave me a deeper appreciation for the Freedoms we now Enjoy.Thank you Veterans for your sacrifice.

I hang out at the park every damn day. Its where I catch my best snorlaxs and/or tyranasaurus rexs. No smoking in the park its the law.

The park is nice but as a lot of people say its an unfortunate destination for people to hang out who have no where to go and not all of them are respectful for families

With a beautiful stage, plenty of trees and grass, and located right in downtown Manchester, Veterans park is a great place for festivals or for lunch outdoors.

Unfortunately its where a lot of Manchesters homeless sleep when they miss curfew at the shelter. Alot of them are drunks and drug abusers so its not a very kid friendly place most of the time. However when events are hosted there, the city does a pretty decent job of cleaning it up...

I find it terribly expensive and all often they coffee just isnt made right. I only go there in a pinch.

How does one rate a.park? There are several monuments dedicated to our Veterans, I believe for all our wars and conflicts in this park. There is no play ground equipment for kids. Not open enough to fly a kite, no flowers to speak of.It is the location of many of the local races held in Manchester and a few concerts and other events. It does have a nice water fountain, but is fenced off. It does have benches and a few homeless people.

Sad that a memorial has to he filled with heroin addicts nodding off. Cant even lay out a blanket in the field with my daughter without (sorry for my choice of words) scummy people approaching me. Lets just say that no matter what.... Youre going to see the filth at this park.

The city is doing great on maintaining civility and maintainance in and around this park.. Fyi....no drugs...no smoking in the park.
