I always enjoy my visits to this lake, whether solo, as a couple, or in groups. The trail loop is scenic, breezy, and genuinely feels like a taste of respite hidden away from the city surrounding it. Show up during the right time of year (late fall), turtles and ducklings are everywhere ! This is also one of my preferred settings for serious dating conversations as the boardwalk, grassy benches, and abundant nooks & crannies offer a semblance of privacy without feeling too formal.Logistically speaking, the parking is typically quite manageable; but during special gatherings/art shows, be prepared to find an open lot a few streets down to walk back to the main event. I have even seen prom/bridal/and wedding parties here...beautiful venue

This is a nice place to visit where the sidewalk on 1792 in Maitland ends. I enjoyed seeing so many turtles and ducks on the boardwalk. Just watch out for goose poo on the other side of the lake. Very relaxing stroll.

Lake Lily is as beautiful in the night time as it is in the day time. It is a nice place to have a family picnic. There is also a play ground for the children. In the night time you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings. You could also have a romantic evening.

I believe these are egrets that I observed at the park. Their unusual beek allows them to eat insects from the ground and little fish from the water. I observed both. Theres turtles and fish that you can see from the bridge walkway. Nice lake and oh by the way theres a little farmers market there on Sunday.

Great place.. anytime...for walking and enjoying nature...but perfect for pandemiclots of open space and some shade in sunny Florida. We went early before lunch to see all the new baby ducks and tons of turtles..take pond food or youll regret your decision..its sad they all come to you for snacks.

I was looking for a park that was safe and good for walking. Well I found it! I went on a Sunday which also happens to be when the Farmers market takes place. Unfortunately because the wind was high they were packing up. When I visit next time Ill add photos of the vendors. There is a paved sidewalk that circles around the lake and is connected to a bridge. In the center of the lake is a water fountain and along the lakes edge are birds, ducks, and ducklings. There are restrooms, a small playground, and parking available. I highly recommend Lake Lily park.

Lake Lily is one of my favorite parks. It is a small and very peaceful park. Squirrels, birds and ducks are ever present as you walk around the lakes approximately 0.4 miles. There are also a few mini trails that veer off of the main lake trail. Several black vinyl covered metal picnic tables with benches, and a gazebo provide seating for quite a few people. The park also has an updated restroom and play area. And, it hosts a Farmers Market on Sundays, as well as, other seasonal activities.April 2020 Update: Ive been going to this park in the morning and have been able to obtain some amazing photo ops! For such a small park, it boasts quite a variety of amazing and friendly fauna (creatures) and exquisite(flora) plants and nature scenes! Ive attached a few of my photographs!

Some friends and I had a lovely picnic lunch at one of the tables by the lake. Parking was convenient and birds were plentiful!

It was quiet, peaceful and beautiful. A great place to sit and relax or enjoy a good book. Play area for the kids and good place to walk the dog.

Beautiful Setting for a picnic and a walk. Also enjoyed seeing the ducks and turtles. The walk is .5 miles, so its easy to track the distance walked. The pond can also be used for catch and release fishing.

The park is always a good time. The ducks, geese, and wildlife in general really bring the park to life. Sure, theres duck poop on the sidewalk but it washes away after the rain. I remember playing on the playground when I was a kid and having picnics by the lake. The house you can tour on site is also lovely! If you check it out during the holiday season they fully decorate it like a blast from the past! I highly recommend this park.

Lake Lilly is a great little park. The loop around the lake is about 3/4 miles long. There is a great playground for the kids. There are a bunch of picnic tables around the lake and plenty of benches too. On Sunday they have a Farmers market between 9 and 2. This is a great place to just walk around the lake and Pokemon hunt if you are interested in that.

As a tranquil park in the heart of Maitland, its a great destination for runners, walkers, or those looking for leisure. It has benches and tables, a small park for kids, a path around the lake, and parking for those who prefer to drive. It has some wildlife. You will see turtles and ducks around the lake.

This is an wonderful park in Maitland with a playground, walking trail, gazebo and restrooms. There is a little walkway over the pond where you can feed the ducks and turtles! The scenery is beautiful and wildlife is all around.

What a beautiful little lake. It has a lot of lovely local wildlife and is kept very clean.

I love Lake Lily!! Is the closest thing to a nature walk in the city. Just a hop away from delicious Jeremiahs Italian Ice. Get your ice and then come here to shed the extra calories.Honestly I rather this loop over the more popular and bigger more crowded Cranes Roost. Theres more wild life here, and squirrels to be exact.

I lived in the area for 5 years and moved 4 mo ago. I come around the area once in a while and its a good place to sit and have lunch. Great restaurants in this area as well.

Went there fished caught a couple tiny bass. Only able to catch them from 2-5 am.

A cute little lake surrounded by a nice paved pathway to take a lap around. Has a fair number of clean benches and tables to sit at or eat lunch. There’s also a playground for the kids along with clean bathrooms.The Southwest side of the Lake has a few historical-type homes. I’m not quite sure their function, but they add to the park’s quaint aesthetic.Docking a star because recently, I went for a midnight stroll through the park. About halfway in, I was stopped by a police car and asked to provide ID/proof I lived nearby (and even radioing in to confirm my record was clean). To a certain extent, I realize it was my fault for not checking the park hours. However, I think the process went a little overboard.

Nice area where you can go for a quick stroll or grab a seat and enjoy a little bit of nature. Makes for nice pictures on the bridge. It is rather small so it tends to be a little crowded

Im currently in the park as Im writing this and I find it to be very peaceful. The fountain creates a nice view and gentle sound to the atmosphere. There are plenty of trees, and bushes that all hold nice colours to their flowers. There is plenty of parking and areas to sit and play in for the kids.

Absolutely beautiful. There is a well designed playground for the kids, and a walk around the lake will provide serenity and views of the wildlife. We saw birds, ducks, lots of baby ducks, and so many turtles.

The park and the public restroom is always clean. Enough parking and within walking distance of many great restaurants and shops. Great playground with a lot of kids. Plus every Sunday there is a nice farmers market with local vendors.

This is a cute lake for sure with good table seating on one side and bench seating all around. I would recommend this place for lunches and casual walks, but not for much more in terms of activity. There isnt a lot of grassy space to use for recreational activities or for playing with dogs. There are benches all over the place though, so if you are looking for a nuce place to sit and relax than this is a pretty nice spot. It does have its own little parking lot so thats convenient, but it does sit directly next to a very busy road. There are little shops nearby as well!

It is beautiful here. Free parking, park with swings for the kids, bathrooms, benches, a house museum, and a small pavilion. It is close to several restaurants and also has a water fountain for dogs. Definitely going back to work out again.

We love to go walk around and enjoy watching the ducks. There is a park for the kiddos and restrooms so you can play all afternoon. They also have a farmers market on sundays as well that is just amazing.

I went during a vendor day. The vendors were excellent and offered an array of goodies to choose from. The park itself looked like it had potential to be a nice park but the day I was there it wasnt the cleanest. It looked like a park the city wasnt taking time to keep up. Bushes needed tending to. The pond looked a hot mess. The animals that were there looked like they were struggling n didnt wanna be there. They had lots of benches for seating. I would visit this park again but only when the vendors are there.

Great relaxing park, to just walk around and enjoy the weather to jogging, bring your kids to the play area. There are also tables and benches to sit and enjoy nature. I love coming here to clear my mind while walking around the path and take pics of the trees and lake. Very relaxing and a beautiful Oasis in the middle of a busy area. Definitely recommend visiting, its not a very big park but very nice and clean, plus nice to see the ducks and birds enjoying it as well.

This park is awesome. We recently gathered here for a memorial service to honor our late friend. Lake Lily was her favorite park and we had an amazing memorial. The park spirit welcomed us graciously.

Lake Lily Park has been the view from our dance studio windows since 1997! We have watched the park and the city evolve during those years since, and it has become a wonderful spot for the community to enjoy, and has provided our dance parents a great place to spend time while waiting for their young dancers to finish class. Our dancers love performing there at various community events during the year.

One of my favorite spots in the city. It is so peaceful and quaint. I come out almost every week for the farmers market on Sundays. They occasionally have different festivals and such around the lake. Wonderful place to go work put, have a picnic, or walk your dog. So beautiful!

Loved this little cottage!! Ideal for a more intimate get-together or event. Would comfortably fit 50-75 people, especially if able to utilize the little garden area directly off the front porch.

I take my grandson here a couple times a week in the cool weather. Great little playground for 3-10 year olds. A few bass in the lake for fishing. An overabundance of muscovy ducks and ibis.

Always a pleasure visiting Lake Lily Park. A jewel in the middle of Maitland, great walk I around the lake. Park is quiet except near the playground which is ideal for young families. Maitland has done a wonderful job restoring the lake. The waterfowl habitat and native aqua plantings are thriving.
