Awesome place and staff. We did the Fortune Teller room and finished with a little over 4 minutes to spare. It was just me and my husband. Not too bad for just the two of. Great clues and such a fun a time. Would definitely go here again.

Fun times!

It was fun but we didnt beat the clock. We over thought some clues. Some you had to really think but I was worth it.

Too much fun..they have rooms I havent seen at other locations. Challenging but not ridiculous.

It was my first time to go to one of these. I went with my youngest daughter as part of our girls day out. She book us for what happened to be the hardest room that they had. But, even though we didnt solve it ( Im saying its because of me being old) we still had lots of fun. If you enjoy brain puzzles, you should go with a group of friends. The staff were friendly and explained everything. If I get the chance I will go back.

Super fun place and really friendly staff. First time ever going to one of these escape places and made it out with a little over 12 minutes to go. Definitely would recommend and cant wait to go again.

Not worth the money for the time!!!So I have never been to an escape room and I really had high expectations for this ( THE PENITENTIARY).Fist off it is $20.00 a person minimum of 2 for two of the rooms and the other two rooms was at least 3 people.Arrived and was greeted by a young lady that was nice and polite. She escorted my date and I to our escape room. This first thing I noticed was how extremely hot it was in the room for summer time.She gave us about a minute explanation of how to play and gave us a walkie-talkie to ask further questions or ask for a hint (the more hints you ask the more your time gets penalized at the end.So about room THE PENITENTIARY it was okay. My main gripe is you run out of time very fast and can’t finish. I mean my friend and I both have college degrees and we could not fish before the hour.Honestly I wished we had went to the movies because it would have been cooler, had refreshments and would have lasted at least an hour and a half.As for me would not do it again!!!

What can I say. It was amazing. Me and my friends loved it. Very cheap thrills all the way.

We had so much fun! And We made it out!!! With time to spare. This was the first time we did an escape room and we cant wait to do another one. So much fun. This is a must do if you are in Lubbock. Make sure you make a reservation.

I am editing my review due to a response from this company about my experience. I previously wrote: When we went it was closed way before the time listed both on Google and on the door. We have been wanting to try an escape room for awhile now and were excited, but never went back do to this incident. However, they explained that they are by appointment only and cannot currently add this to the hours on Google. I respect when companies take the time to respond and explain why something may have happened or apologize for any inconveniences. For this, I have changed my rating and next time Im in Texas I hope I have time to revisit this place so maybe I can give 5 stars.

I took my staff of 15 here for an end of the year event and they loved it! We did three rooms and only two of the teams made it out in the time limit, but we all had so much fun still. The staff were very friendly and helpful, very accommodating, and organized. I would recommend this to anyone, whether it be with just some friends or for an organization looking for something to do with their members or team.

Great experience! Come prepared to communicate with your group and dont be afraid to ask for a hint or two if you get stuck.

Trapped! Escape the Room is an excellent group or team building exercise. We did this for a team building event and I couldnt recommend it more. During this one hour event you learn so much about the other people in the room. I would recommend this for anyone whos interested in a team-building exercise or anyone who wants to learn more about their group of friends. The staff is friendly and the facility is excellent.

Incredibly fun and thrilling, though I do wish there was maybe a spooky themed roomed for October, it still is pretty great! I went with a party of 5 and did the Penitentiary and it was quite challenging even for all of our big minds at work. We diid have a minor mishap when we discovered an unlocked door that led to an important section but that was all. The whole experience was pretty fun and deffinately forced us to put on our thinking caps, and though we didnt escape, we still were able to take a photo celebrating our attempt. Also, supposedly this is one of the only Escape Rooms in town where you can pay for tickets rather than renting out a whole room to be alone with your group. All in all, this place is pretty fun to visit with some friends to build teamwork and problem solving and the staff are very kind and supportive.

The Fortune Teller room was awesome! Our other groups enjoyed the other rooms too. Its a fun way to spend an hour or two and a great alternative to the Lubbocks usual dinner and a movie date. The staff was nice too. Altogether a wonderful experience.

SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE PANIC ROOM IN LUBBOCK. I absolutely love it! The rooms are amazing, staff is super friendly and patient with questions. I booked the wrong day and when I showed up the day after, confused thinking my reservation was for that day, I was taken care of completely! I also love the fact that when you make a reservation you get the whole room to yourself (just your group, no strangers). Will visit every time Im in Lubbock, Texas.

“Great fun!”Did the Precinct room with my brother and sister-in-law while visiting them in Lubbock. This was the second room Ive ever done and it was very well done. The tasks were challenging and it required all of us thinking them through to get out of the room. I recommend this if you have an open evening and are looking for

The staff was great. We brought a group of 10 in after calling in advance. They broke us up into two rooms and really made sure we all had fun. The puzzles were challenging and fun.

Ah, we were 30 seconds from escaping! It was really fun, it totally didnt feel like an hour. I would recommend on erring on the side of a smaller group. We did four people, and that was more than enough.
