It was very clean. Love the alligator slide to help the little 1. Liked how you can program who uses bumpers so you dont have to put them up the whole time or continuously put them up or down. Pizza was good, wings were amazing. Staff was fantastic. Play center was fun, also really loved the room for getting prizes. I was impressed. Thank you. We had a wonderful time

Absolutely disappointed in this place. It used to be so fun and had fun bartenders. The only person here that was respectful was the guy that led us to our bowling lane. The server took ages and forgot the first round of drinks we ordered, so we just walked up to the bar instead. Bartender was super rude and wouldn’t even acknowledge us. She was too busy talking to her friends. The place was trashed. No what I remember and will not be going back. So saddened by this.

Visited Main Event with the guys for a few beers, pool, bowling and whatever else. We werent there very long before we decided to leave. We were having a beer and playing a game of pool when we were approached by 2 staff members telling us we must have our mask on in between sips of beer. We were actively holding and enjoying the beers. A few minutes later it was the same thing.By the third time, we decided to leave and spend no more money in this establishment. Not too far from us, was an employee sitting down eating.. he had been done with his food for sometime and was just goofing off on his phone.. no mask and nobody harassing him to put a mask on in between bites. I understand Covid19 isnt a joking matter.. however we were the only ones in the bar area. Nobody was even remotely close to our group, we were drinking beers, and still getting harassed. We decided to cut our evening short at this place and take our money elsewhere. Most likely will not be back.

Went to main event for a great time with the boys, to have a couple of beers and play some pool, what I got instead was a very rude experience with RJ who I later saw screaming down at an employee who looked no older than high school. She looked so close to tears. Besides the horrible experience with me and my friends had a great time and enjoyed the company of the other workers. Great establishment, but I would not go back again if I see RJ anywhere near me.

Management is unsure of TABC policies when it comes down to foreign exchange Texas Tech students. Exchange students! Spend money elsewhere! They will not accept you licenses! I truly wish us Americans could show you what main event claims to be!

I was very unhappy with the rudeness of the boy working the door with the temp gun when i asked for him to take it on my wrist, I am not ok with places pointing a gun at my or my childrens head. It is conditioning plain and simple. He was rude and dismissive. There were no attendants at laser tag or golf we waited around for about an hour then just left so wasted $60 dollars on nothing and being treated rudely. We wont be back. It was my twins birthday we drove 2 hrs just to play laser tag which we never got to do because no one would wait on us.

Monday nights are great for my son because he plays for $10.95 unlimited arcade games until bedtime.

We really enjoyed our hour of bowling. The front staff was very nice and greeted us with a smile. They were very accommidating on helping us find our shoe sizes for bowling. The score keeper has lots of fun additives to help make bowling even more fun. They even have dragon assistors for the littles. We have come here for my older sons birthday and also had a great experience. They have a huge range of games for your children to play. It was a great time to be had.

There was a gm there named RJ and he was just very rude, and made my time there very bad. If you go there, just try to avoid a gm named RJ. Everything else there was great though.

Staff are all amazingly polite and very helpful!! Place is really creatively put together and finely organized. Food: cooks, make sure we customers are getting everything fresh. If something looks old, dont make us ask to get it replaced, even waitress should check food before it arrives to the table... but we Loved everything they offer. Perfect place for a family day. Great overall experience!

I saw a previous review as far as price of activities and I can say this is the cheapest Main Event location I have been to in Texas. I was actually shocked at prices at other facilities, especially the one in Dallas. We have been here several times and that says a lot as we dont go out much due to our time demanding business needs. Overall, this place is a good place to go have family fun at a reasonable price. If you are looking to have a good time with your friends and family, go to Main Event in Lubbock and have a blast.

Best place to make your kids have fun all day! They enjoy playing mini golf, laser tag, snow bowling, playing arcade games and having variety of food to choose to eat! Best place for kids activities!

Bad service at main desk we bought wrist bands to bowl and they would only give us 30 mins extra because they want to close early is what the lady said when it’s states on the website they close at 2 am on fridays.

Super fun, but a little pricey (wings, fries and a beer cost $20 + tip). Many options for fun...bowling, laser tag, pool, and a huge arcade. The food is the real bright spot of the place, underrated flavor and generous serving sizes, but again over priced. Not an everyday place because of price, but a nice treat and great service nonetheless.

Wonderfully loud, fun, and entertaining. Laser Tag has been updated and the glowing mini golf has too. Games are always being updated and you get points through a card system that seems to be accurate and quick to add up. The prizes range from junk to cute pieces that kids like. Staff is okay, I can imagine that all the people and noise can get tiring so a grumpy employee every once in a while is fine.

Fun place with fair prices to play all the games essentially all day. Had a blast with my daughter and wife as we played hours of bowling, mini golf, and in the arcade. The laser tag is also extremely fun when there are enough players!

My kids love this place! The food is delicious and games are fun. My favorite thing is that the games are not all crowded together like other places. Would of given all 5 stars but the selection of prizes seems to have lowered a bit, kids still loved it though.

Hyperbowl was very cool

I had a bad experience with the wristband that they offer. They told me that we could play Laser Tag as many times as we wanted, but they DID NOT tell me that Birthday Parties have priority, so we went to play and wait for 15 minutes to get in the game, but the second time we were wating for 40 minutes because the Birthday groups kept getting priority (they have a special line for birthday groups).People from our line switched into the birthay party line and people that were coming out of the game got in to the line of birthay party again, so our line was stuck because so many people were in the Birthday Party Line. It was a mess and there was no control over the line cutters. The manager came over and did not resolve the problem. We had to keep waiting.I have been to another Maine Event (in Delaware), but this problem and disorganized management of customers wasnt an issue there. Most of the employees were nice. I spent $90, and this was my first time there. I doubt Ill go back unless its for a birthday party lol.PS: Where is the Zip Line ???!!!!!

Great for family time!! Have ton of options for the kids and at a very good price. You can get great food, desert and even enjoy an alcoholic beverage while youre here.

I purchased a party package for 14 people. I was told that my guest could check in at the front desk and they would be directed to the party room....well this did not happen at all. I spent the majority of the time chasing someone down to help provide me with customer service. We purchased beer towers and the last one leaked all over the table and floor. It was an awful experience!

We bring our kids every time we are in Lubbock. Great bowling experience and enough age range on the games for our small children to have fun. The wait staff is quick and the food is not amazing but pretty good.

I just brought my family from Mexico to the main event to have a nice time. We went to the bar to grab drinks and the one who attends the bar denied us the drinks because supposedly the main event policies are not to accept Mexican identifications. That was racism for being Mexicans and I was going to celebrate my sons birthday here, the truth is that I am not going back to main event

I liked the automatic bumpers in the bowling alley. It makes it much more fun to play together. I did not enjoy how overcrowded/loud it was. The games were very expensive and there did not seem to be much for the under 5 kids. I probably wouldnt take my family there again untill my children are older as I did not feel the cost was worth experience.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ~ FOOD POISING INCLUDEDZERO STARS!Arrived at Main Event with a party of 10 people. Was asked to go to sales office to sign a contract for services and to spend a minimum amount of money. Said we would just pay the maximum amount for our party to play each of the events. Upon arrival was greeted with absolute disrespect. Additionally, when we tried to order food was told by several servers they would not take care of us and we had to go order from food court. When we went to food court they said they could not do our order and that we had to order from a server. We had NO SERVICE. We then went to the bar to order food and the bartender placed our order. The order came out completely wrong and not correct THE PIZZAS WERE COMPLETELY OPPOSITE AND THE WINGS WERE UNDER COOKED AND NOT EDIBLE. WE DID NOT HAVE A SERVER SO WE JUST THREW THE FOOD AWAY AND STILL PAID FOR IT IN FULL. After spending over 450.00USD at Main Event; 2 people in our party got FOOD POISONING -- WHICH WE HAVE DOCTORS DIAGNOSIS OF THIS. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY POORLY RUN AND THE SERVERS AND STAFF ARE COMPLETELY RUDE. WE HAD 5 SERVERS TELL US THEY WOULD NOT HELP US OR ASSIST US WITH OUR ORDER OR PROVIDING SERVICE. THIS PLACE HAS NO LEADERSHIP OR ORGANIZATION. THE BARTENDER PLACE OUR ORDER AND WHEN IT CAME OUT EVERYTHING WAS WRONG NOT THE BARTENDERS FAULT. THERE ARE MAJOR ISSUES WITH THE STAFF AND KITCHEN AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. WE HAD TO SERVE OURSELVES AND HAD TO GET ALL OUR OWN PLATES AND SILVERWARE AND WAIT ON OURSELVES. THEY MADE US WAIT TO BOWL UNTIL 9P.M. AT NIGHT WHEN LANES WERE OPEN AND THERE WAS NO WAIT. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. WE ARE FILLING FOOD POISONING CLAIMS WITH MAIN EVENT AND WILL PROCEED WITH FURTHER ACTIONS AND REVIEWS AGAINST THIS COMPANY.

So I had a play card with 75 dollars on it, use about 10 dollars then the card wont ready anymore, I go to check the history and theres none at all. I ask management whos also equally confused, and said he doesnt know what happened and theres no way to tell, so he asked how much I had on it, I told him what happened and how much I spent and he immediately took the card, charged it up for that amount and apologized for the inconvenience. Im very pleased with how he handled it, and that it had such a positive outcome since I was expecting the usual too bad so sad move most managers pull at other places.Good job guys, very professional.

So much to do and so much fun! They have passes which are priced for multiple activities for longer amounts of time. It is more cost effective that way. Will return for sure!

Great place for family fun, kind of pricey but overall not too bad, bowling had a 1.5 hour wait line and we missed ours because they notified us 6 times when we were in the middle of a laser tag game and lost our spot, therefore we had to wait again.

Great customer service. I left my pool cue there, called at 9 in the morning the next day and someone answered the phone. They dont even open until 11. They called me back later that afternoon and told me they found my cue. I picked it up that evening. They really went above and beyond!

I always have fun the only thing that disappointing is the strings on the bowling pins.

Fantastic for the whole family. Sliders are great. The hard lemonade is yummy for adults. The cheddar cheese cuts are a little too salty but good. The bowling is really fun but they need to work on the ball return machine. Great service.

Great job to the staff here. We paid $11 each to have an arm band which allowed us access to everything until close. We bowled a bit and ordered chips and salsa. Our server was perfect ! He was knowledgable on the menu and prompt as well as attentive. Although this location is a bit smaller than the ones in dallas still a great time.

Had a blast with my fianceé & enjoyed all the games and pricing. Shared a nacho platter which was great and even got more chips.

Ive been coming here for my birthday or other occasions for years. Its a great place, but the prices arent anything to sneeze at. The bill can rack up pretty fast, so be careful. Lazer tag is my favorite cause you can get a wristband and play as many rounds as you want, but the only problem is you can only play it when others play. Even then its only fun when tons of people play, unless youre the kind of person who loves 1 on 1.

We were so excited to go, and then so disappointed. We were denied drinks at the bar because they do not accept passports (I dont drive). So then we went to play games but half the machines were broken: an air hockey table, 4 claw machines, two slots, and a couple others. We gave up and went to redeem our tickets but everything was cheap dollar store toys. Not a single employee welcomed us, said hello, or bade us farewell. I was super disappointed as other locations have been exceptional.

Love everything about the place, but be prepared to spend a bit. The day pass that covered bowling, laser tag, and golf, was $15. Spent another $15 on games. Add food and youre pushing $50 per person.the. Definitely fun though.
