I use to enjoy this park on Sundays. Now its full of loud cars and folks gasingand racing their vehicles in the lower parking area. I still bring my kiddos to play here at times.

Nice place to go, They have a water park playground and picnic and grilling areas with enclosures. They have concerts and fireworks displays several times a year with vendors that sell beer and food. Also have boat ramp to put your boat into the river.

Its a nice little park with places to play, lovely swings that face the river, and a splash pad. But it needs some TLC along the riverbank from thoughtless folks who leave their trash. Next time I come, Im bringing cleanup gear to show the River some love. If you like fishing and boating, there is a free access launch area there. Very nice.

Is a nice place to visit and take your kids

Good place to go fishing. a lot of people smoking weed, which I do also but in the comfort of my own home. Friendly people, but I havent seen the life around there after dark. So go in the day#(ck) common knowledge

My grandbaby loves going there 2 see the boats and to play in there cute little park and every now and again we see a few horses ride by and she just lights up just wish the bathroom was a little up to date

Grass was way over grown spoke with somone that came to mow it and stated that all the parks were like this. Louisville government isnt worried about it no more. Be glad when we get moved. Indiana doesnt do that

Nice place to put in a boat on the ohio if not flooded. Great place to bike the loop.

The park is nice... everything else takes away from it though. The bathrooms are poorly kept and I personally witnessed a minor drug deal happen in broad daylight with kids all over the place. If it was maintained better and watched a little closer it would probably be the best thing the dixie highway are has to offer.

Love this park! Beautiful and by the river. This park has a boat ramp, fishing, one of the beat spray grounds comparable to Beckley Creek and the playground is on of the most adventurous. With three different play sets for different age groups, which I definitely appreciate. Be careful of the crazy bees out there though.

Too many people trashing this place up. Nice view of river is the best I can say about it. Soil is contaminated with signs posted in some areas saying so.... Not sure Id let my kids play here.

They misspelled the name on the sign, water the lawn, and tell the kids covid is in the water and shut off the sprayers. Mayor informed. Do better.

Apparently they have reduced the water park part of this park to put in more playground equipment. My kids were not enthused about that. There was still water equipment but a lot less from before. That was disappointing. In this photo I am at one edge at my kids are at the opposite edge, then it goes a bit to the left and right.

The gate is ALWAYS locked and I wanna take my dog down to the river without having to walk up that dang hill everytime. Please do better cleaning these bathrooms! Smh .

Cute little park that also holds a splash playground. Limited seating. Mat can be slippery, and most of the time the park is full during summer (everyone wants to play in the water during summer though!) it’s a regular park, no admission fees.

Cant beat a free water park for kids to play in. Really nice and a lot there for your kids to do

This is a great place to go in the early morning to enjoy sunrise. That special time when the first light illuminates the hills of southern Indiana makes it all so worthwhile and beautiful. And the occasional passing barge is such an interesting sight. Few places in Louisville offer such a perfect atmosphere for contemplation and simple mental relaxation.

Quit relaxing place to take a long walk, bike ride, run or enjoy a relaxing view of the river on the swings, also a great place to take the kids to play outside on a beautiful day. Have a picnic at the tables, or cook out with the family.

Took my kids, since they were on Fall break. They had a blast and loved that the water was still on. The grounds were clean, bathroom were clean. Overall the place was fun for the kids and which made it fun for me.

Im guessing with the pandemic happening there is not a lot of priority for parks. It showed here. The grass needed to be mowed and the trash picked up. It looked a little shady.

Nice and quiet down by the river, walking paths are great. Only downside is to many unsupervised kids. Few of them were on mopeds and driving like they owned the road.

Love this park in the southwest side of town. Lots of events though out the year. Free Car shows, bounce houses, firework show ect. Nice splash pad and playground for the kids. Great secluded fishing spots on the banks of the river if your willing to explore a little.

Nice place, great for a nice walk or run. Drugs and bad people lurk in the parking lots though, be mindful of your surroundings and belongings.

Really torn between 3 and 4 stars. this location looks well kept and has a great play area for kids (splash park is one of my favorites). There are trails to hike, walk along a paved path on the flood wall, grills, benches, swings to overlook the water, its great. BUT being a local, there is just a touch of shady that unfortunately pollutes this location. Not too often but there have been moments I chose to avoid this park based off of its inhabitants.

This place means a lot to me. Im sad to see so many cigarette butts and cigarillo packs near the parking lot. However over all this is a great place to experience nature and take your children.Personally I enjoy going further down the river bank and seeing the beauty the area has to offer. People leave a lot of trash there though.If you enjoy your time there please, realize the beauty goes away when you leave bags, cans of beer and cigarettes everywhere. Im a smoker too, however you dont have to leave all this trash.The actual Louisville parks Dept area of this area is beautiful and a good place to take kids. But peeps, take pride of your home. Take better care of it.

Indoor plumbing a small water park playground for children, and swings to enjoy you time watching the river or sunset a peaceful area just off the Green Belt.

I dont hate it, its just that their restrooms have been closed for weeks and there are no portacans!Needs more shaded areas for parents.

Kids had a blast even Kali my 2 year old niece. Alot of nice people, grandma shared her bench seat with me.

Like the water park for kids and lots of places for cookouts and a nice boat ramp for putting boats in and out of the river. Also like the walk path on the flood wall, nice for some exercise.

Great place to take the kids. They have a water splash area, which is very popular during the warm months of the year. Picnic area and charcoal grill are there to use. Plus a boat ramp and opportunity to fish.

Beautiful view at this park especially at sunset but also great for kids as they have a water play area and another non water play area. They also have a bbq area that u can reserve for parties.

Its a nice place to take the kids to play but people need to clean up after their self!! Pick up your mess before you leave and dont destroy the property!!! PLEASE!!!
