Free Play is a typical mixologista bar that serves yummy cocktails. Their basil gimlet is solid and a classic - you can never go wrong with it.While the bar area is quite nice and simple and they have an adjacent small lounge-area, it can get incredibly crowded here, making it difficult for a good conversation spot. Its probably best to come here expecting a fun, chill, easy-going loud environment. Drinks are $9-$13 per cocktail.

Came here to watch Warriors vs Thunder. Good atmosphere and crowd. Their Sauvignon Blanc and Sparkling Wine were good. Nachos were bland and wings were not crunchy or flavorful enough. Wait staff and security were nice. :)

This place is amazing! How have I not known about it all this time living in LA. The best pasta I have had in Los Angeles. Its not too big on the inside but the staff there is beyond amazing and make it work. Food comes out relatively fast although it is cooked fresh to order. The pasta is al dente and the sauce amount is just right. The bread is nice with some olive oil and vinegar. Great place. A bit pricey but worth it. Also, dont let the design of how they plate the food fool you. Its actually a lot of food.

Super fun local bar that has $5 drinks specials during Happy Hour, Board Games to play with friends, an air hockey table and a fully glow in the Free Play!

This corner will be a million pipedreams. Ideal location with a lot of pressure. Hard to deliver even an average standard in San Francisco--this place is still trying.

Id rename it Brewclub instead of Brewcade. There are tons of video games, but on a busy night the games are all being used and its got the vibe of a club. Lots of what did you say? Huh?

This place is a lot of fun for a chill night out. Its bigger than I was anticipating with a lot of arcade games and also board games like connect 4, what do you meme, etc. + a bar and food. They have weekly events like trivia, Free Play, and family nights. It never felt too crowded and we were able to play everything we wantedFree Play

That said, I have an affinity for Free Play because its where my girlfriend and I had our first date. We shared a few craft beers which were fun to choose from, since theyre largely local and unique. We played the vintage arcade games (badly) but enjoyed every minute.Free Play

The game selection is excellent, with some pinball, some classics, some fighting games, a racer or two, and some shooting games. Even though they dont swap games out as much as Id like, the ones they do have are always in working order.Free Play Theyre also not too busy; theres definitely an exciting atmosphere from the other patrons being around, but you wont have to wait all night to play a game you want.Free Play

I was really excited to go to here, was in LA with a bunch of friends, and it seemed like it would be super cool! I was talking it up, we planned our trip to hit it for dinner before people had to fly out. Then we get here, and the place is closed (At 5:30 pm!). Not only google, but the phone number and the website all say that it would be open. We ended up not having time to go anywhere else fun. Really unprofessional and ended our trip on a sour note.

I enjoyed the atmosphere in the beer but as far as the food goes I have to make a comment first of all the menu said Half a chicken all I got was a leg in the thigh on a slab of bread soaked in some sort of gravy it was no sides vegetables salad or french fries the presentation was on unappetizing to say the least and that was for $22 not sure if the kitchen was overwhelmed before the concert or not but I will not be ordering food there anymore

They really need a dress code. Went to celebrate a friends bday. Starts out nice, classy. Then by 7pm omgeeeee! Time to go. First and last time going. Gave 2 stars becuase food was decent. Drinks are watered down and they have nothing premium.

I ordered some appetizers and beer. The beer selection was ok. The food was also just ok. The nachos were good but the chicken wings were just ok. I played some games but I think they should have more games installed.

This place sometimes has plumbing issues which caused the establishment to smell... unpleasantly. Bar tender confirmed this for me after I asked her about it.Decent service and decent menu however, the pour on my beer had a pretty big head (which means my glass wasn’t filled all the way) and the food I was served was cold (also didn’t include ketchup for my unseasoned fries, so I had to get up and go to the bar to ask, which is like, duh). I ordered the Tritip Sandwich, I know sandwiches are usually cold, but I thought since this was steak it would be at least warm. I acknowledged that all could have been my mistake, but the fries were also barely warm soooo idk. They never actually told me if it suppose to be a warm/hot/cold sandwich or not.As I said, decent to good enough service (everyone is pleasant and happy) and I was able to get a full refund for the sandwich, so I am very thankful for that.I most likely will try this place again since I live so close and it’s the only place to get “bar food” and watch “the game”.Also.. last little gripe.. the bar tender told me that this was “like, gourmet food” hmm... well nothing says “gourmet” like Romain lettuce on a cold open face tritip sando during an E. coli outbreak.
