Its a beautiful place I love it . I got some food and eat with my wife it was a wonderful day I totally recommend it...

Probably the best of the botanical gardens in LA area. Plants and trees were well maintained, everything pretty green even in dead of summer. Kids love the mini railroad ride, it goes for a few minutes, which is pretty cool. Lots of shaded paths. Nice place for an afternoon outing.

This park trail offers magnificent views of the Golden Gate. We did not walk the entire trail but just from the parking lot to the first viewing point where you can see the Pacific and the GG Bridge. Very nice.

Such an underrated park in the Bay Area! The place is so beautiful with its clear blue waters and mountainous backdrops. Came here for the first time on a weekend and I was blown away by this cute getaway from the city.

Great for exercise walking around the body of water. There are a few hills nearby also. The people that live in the neighborhood also seem to be nice

Love this area it was chosen by the John Marshall Seniors for pre prom photos. No dogs allowed in here so you can have lovely picnics, walk in the grass bare feet and talk prom pics!!! For your kids to remember also taught our little one to walk here!!

Pretty Good Park when it isnt Humid. Parking can be challenging when its busy. Lots of space to spread out. If you want to go here, you can also order food and have a picnic for a surprise date. Good place for early yoga and sun bathing.

It is beautiful, clean, I wish it had activities that could be done on the water itself but its all gated off.

I was stucked on the street for more than 25 minutes due to the blockage of one car . It is one way street . It, however, has nice views and Christmas decorations. The people lives there are super helpful and friendly in guiding all the stucked cars backed up. This park is super exciting as I can see the beautiful lake beneath the road while I drive through .

Love this native garden and very relaxing park...no sports here so feel free to bring a blanket, book or project to work on. Babies run barefoot on the soft grass. Pick up after yourself and keep our park clean!

Hey, let’s make a great open green space and then say no dogs. Dogs get the fenced-in mini dirt plot right on the road. That sounds like a great idea doesn’t it?? Having lived in several truly ‘dog-friendly’ cities internationally and in the US, calling Silver Lake dog friendly really is a joke. There’s almost no shade to walk on the streets and trails are in native areas with coyotes and mountain lions. But the one safe and spacious green area is fenced off from my well behaved dog. Thanks LA. Fail.If you love your dog and like to walk places and let them off lead without getting boxed in and trampled with other dogs, don’t move here. Oh and don’t even get me started on the beaches. One off lead area in all of SoCal (two if you count Del Mar).

Its such a nice place to unwind after work or just in general. It seems so separate from the city and its pretty open. Almost got eaten by a coyote but me and my girl managed to get to safety so just be cautious during dusk.

Its so alluring to be here, just like you are in Yosemite Meadows

Perfect park to walk and run around the reservoir. I wish they would permanently open up the interior path. This is such a special place with areas for plants, people, dogs and homes.

Park description says it has views of the Silver Lake Reservoir but this is really just wishful thinking - the park is surrounded by a large fence and even then you can see the lake only from several spots. Overall this park is great for picnics and maybe jogging.

The Silver Lake Reservoir is a great place to visit. Theres a 2.2 mile loop, a dog park, and a meadow. Theres also a rec center where people bring their kids, a basketball court and a grassy knoll for chillin out and people watching. Its a pretty cool space. I recommend coming here anytime of day. I usually just park anywhere I find a spot and pass time for a couple of hours, walking the loop while listening to music on my plugs.

Its ok. Tons of cars driving by takes away from the park experience. Would recommend other parks nearby instead.

This place is so relaxing. I love coming here for a workout or a lazy day at the park. There many different people who come here from families to yoga groups. There are water fountains scattered about and a dog park near by.

A great place for a picnic!

Beautiful little park here, I often come to walk around and relax. Lots of greenery to have a picnic, take your kids for a bit of a run around or just sit and read a book in the shade.Well kept too, the flowers and trees are maintained and look great.

Nice to walk around it and end up resting in the shade area. Took me approximately 45 minutes to walk around it all which is a little over 2 miles. Theres a playground, restrooms and a dog park. Reservoir doesnt have as much water but looks nice though.

After removing the water for our safety the good folks of Silver Lake have a giant water-less cement pond to look at. Nice running and biking trails surround the eye sore.

Watch out for all the gopher holes. It was tough to play kickball with out tripping. Otherwise it was very nice and relaxing.

This is a nice community center that provides restrooms and meeting spots for people using Silver Lake. They have nice basketball courts for people to use, along with a good space for runners and walkers to stretch.

Very nice if you want dog free, sports free relaxing or a run through a bit of greenery. probably great for deaf people or those that can ignore the constant traffic noise.

This park is pleasant. (reservoir is currently drained which sucks) But there are NO bathrooms. Have to pee in the woods.

I go here every so often to run, there is also a couple of basketball courts there as well. Nice people, who are there to get fit.

The grass is green, there are people, kids, and dogs around. What a lovely spot for a sweet reprieve in LA.

Despite my living situation at the time,i loved every second i was there.

My typical runs are on Downtown sidewalks and piloting through less trafficked back roads. And before that, my idea of a run was 1 hour on a treadmill. So knowing where Im coming from heres how my counter clockwise Silver Lake Reservoir run broke down:-=- No lot. It wasnt Silverlake Farmers Market crazy because that one is just impossible. Theres plenty of parking, but you have to parallel along the path or in the narrow neighborhood roads. Welcome to LA.-=- Its a majority dirt path which was surprising to my knees at first, but you get used to it. My shoes dont forgive me though. It rained a day ago and there were dirt puddles along the trail.-=- Im a speedy runner, so I often get caught behind others. This doesnt work well when the dirt path narrows. Up that stride, Soldier!-=- 2 aforementioned hills: 1 was steep cement and the other was a zig zaggy run for the finish. The downhills that followed were bad for the knees but were less declined. Thank God I ran counter-clockwise.Summary: Intermediate 2 mile dirt run with: runner, canine and occasional stroller traffic. I love it. I love that a place like this exists.
