I absolutely love this spot. Normally it is quite empty, ideal for this era we live in. We go there to do picnics, just lay down, or do some exercise in nature. They have tons of parking spots around the park and it is easy to get to. Give it a try but please dont litter! Stay safe everyone

Loved the serene environment but it was a little too crowded for me because there was quite a few families near by us.

Great, secluded park with bathroom facilities and a nice valley wind funnel effect to keep it cool during the summer.

Went 6am and took videos of the path and trees and to capture the lovely bird song in the quiet of dawn....

Love this place and the big wonky oak tree in the back! We were able to hang two hammocks from the one tree side by side.

Amazing park to get away and listen To nature I usually head over there to eat my afternoon snack since they do have picnic tables anyone can use and then if I’m up for it I walk the trail and enjoy my quite time since there’s never too many people there. So time I’ll even be there for a few hours and i would lose track of time mediating and watching nature at its best. But bring bug spray cause the bugs come out and I mean bug come out it’s kinda annoying how many there are when the sun sets . But The last time I was there I got to see a doe it’s Lil Bambi they were so photogenic, and cute, since they knew I was talking pictures of them. Well if your looking for a nice quiet getaway for the day I recommend it and maybe I’ll see you there.

One of my favorite places to relax and enjoy nature at its best as well as spend time with friends and family during a picnic. This is usually my starting point every morning when i go hiking since there are four different trails within 200 feet that you can choose from depending on your fitness level. Theres parking available along the way too.

This is a peaceful and clean area to mediate or walk...or just simple contemplate nature beauty..

Mineral Wells is a go-to location for bringing friends and family together for sunshine, shade, food, and play, and tends not to be as crowded as other picnic areas in Griffith. If you plan on cooking, bring a stove as campfires are not allowed.
