It is a very enjoyable guided tour, following the false lines of Madame Trusseau and taking care of the smallest details. the price, not even expensive, is worth it.Being a VIP for a day, feeling like a world-renowned actor or actress and imagining yourself in a movie set.you can be all this when you find yourself on the most famous street in the world
Nice place to spend with your kids, family or spouse. We were in our RV, so we had our coffee and light breakfast. Felt safe, the park has several buildings that benefit the community.
Nice place to visit but needs to be updated a little. Fun time with the family
متحف رائع وجميل وفن مهاري بديعWonderful museum, distinctive and beautiful location, wonderful amenities and well-arranged gardens really worth visiting many times but when the epidemic is over

First time visit this place yesterday and I will not recommend this place to anyone. If you dont love your money then visit this place. The work here is not so good. Madame Tussauds is worth the extra money, the figures are amazing there. Not worth the time and money. Way way to expensive.
I had never been to a wax museum before even though I live in New Orleans and they have some here! I guess I never realized how incredibly realistic they are! It was truly amazing to see the artwork & fine details that went into each masterpiece! Even if the designs are digitally produced and much easier than they used to be, someone STILL has to design the piece. Someone still has to get the perfect skin tone, variations, imperfections, fine details, the hair, body, clothes and even the posture!!! Its ALL art and HAS to be perfect for the piece to work. It was incredible!
My daughter and I had a lot fun here. I apologize now because almost all of the photos have my daughter in them. Shes a big part of my having so much there and I didnt think to take photos without her. I wouldnt say all the figures are entirely accurate looking but the displays are fun. We bought the 3 day pass to visit all 3 places (Ripleys & Guinness world records).
Didn’t know I’d have this much fun here! It was very exciting lol. If you’re near of the locations you should definitely check it out!
This place is so fun, I have been here 3 times!! So life like and interactive. And they keep getting better with more interactive sets. Good price for the fun and the amount of time it takes to go through. Plan a few hours especially with kids! A must when you are in Hollywood .
Always a must see for both locals and visitors! Ive spent 25 years in Hollywood and Los Angeles, and I always enjoy the wax figures. A must thing to put on your bucket list of things to do... and do again :)For me, it never disappoints. Love it!
The place is small. It doesn’t contain much figures. Some of them you won’t recognize its person if you don’t read the name. I had been to different wax museums, and I wasn’t impressed by this one at all. A good activity to do while you are in Hollywood though. Make sure you buy the tickets in advance ( at least two days prior to your visit) from a third party since is cheaper especially for large group.
VIP tour package combining all 3 museums is worth $35, good place to spend time with family
The art work was amazing and the stars were fun
The museum did an amazing job at catering to the feline inspired theme. There were two DJs spinning music, one of whom was playing feline inspired songs from 6-8 pm. The other DJ spun some pretty groovy house tunes from 8-10 pm. They also had feline named drink specials like Wildcat Tom Collins, etc. The drinks were good enough to get you to enjoy the exhibits.
Omg.. what an awesome experience... hally berry. Jason. Chucky. A most visit for all ages
Fun place so much figurines. the wonderful idea is these figurines are displaying the actors and actresses in one of their best movies.
This place was so much fun. Most of them look so real. The prop turn this into an interactive adventure. Cool place to visit. We loved it.
Great Place for a day of entertainment. Purchased the VIP tour ticket, well worth the price for the three museums
Loved it!! I wish I would have known there are two different wax museums. Will definitely visit the other wax museum on my next visit.
Great expérience! take the 3 museum tour!
A bit shocked and fascinated with all the wax people that they had in some instance really thought they were real.haha.
Loved it, some of the wax actors look real!!! So worth the price!!!
Get drunk and look at the exhibits, what a great concept...Kids are easily amazed by animals but Adults can also be as easily amazed, just give them some damn liquor!!!
Came here as part of my visit to LA this Labor Day -2019. The museum is having very natural statues of famous figures. Worth of visit. I surprised how they could be made so natural.
Pretty good for the ticket price. You are able to use props and get up close, and personal with the wax stars. It would be more enjoyable visiting with friends, as there are so many photo opportunities along the way.
I enjoyed walking through. Needs to be dusted. The children ruined it for me. Out of control SMH its also really warm inside which made the smells worst. Had fun with my love, thats all that matters.
Interactive. Fun! Much better than the wax museum at sam Francisco wharf.
This was really fun to go too. The whole tour is about 20-30mins really. My favorite part was the horror walk through seeing the villains in movies.
Ratings Scale 0 - 10Variety: 8Service or Product: 7Customer Service: 8Environment: 8Cleaning: 8Cost: 8I got the VIP ticket which gave me access to Ripleys, Guinness world records, as well as the Hollywood wax museum. It was about $35 and worth it in this case.In particular the wax museum was a nice fun activity with lots of Celebrities statues complete with movie or set themes. Check out the attached pictures with this review and youll get a free picture tour :)
Had a fun time here with my boyfriend, its amazing how well done are the wax figures, took pictures like crazy of my favorite actors, it takes about 30 to 45 minutes to go through the whole museum and if you paid $35.99 per person you get to visit 3 museums wax, Ripley and Guinness.
Visiting this place was a lot of fun for the whole family. I loved all of the wax figures and the different props. The museum was quite affordable as well and had a variety of celebrities. I especially loved the horror exhibits and the dark area!
The museum was great. A lot of cool wax figures. Try to get your tickets via groupon you can save some money
I had never been there before and was pleasantly surprised to see Jack Black as Nacho Libre. Also enjoyed the Vitameatavegamin exhibit.
Its a great place to visit, no doubt, but the prices are a little high.
Interesting concept. We had a lot of fun drinking overpriced cocktails and wandering around the aquarium. Ive been to the CA Academy of Sciences multiple times before, but never to NightLife. Its great that the ticket prices are half of what they charge for daytime, but we didnt have access to the second floor. Im not sure if that was because there was a private event going on upstairs or if thats always the case. They had different stations with themed drinks, all of which were not very good but hey it got us buzzed. We couldnt go into the rainforest dome with drinks so we waited until both of us finished ours...but by the time we did, we found out the rainforest had been closed even though it was nowhere near the end of NightLife :( So we went downstairs to the aquarium and spent about an hour there. A little crowded but it wasnt too bad. The planetarium seating was all full as well so Id recommend just buying a ticket for $3 if youre into that sort of thing. All-in-all, a unique experience.
Beautiful place and good price (get combo ticket for only $40)
Was super nice! While short, it was still super enjoyable! Workers usually encourage VIP pass so know before you go! It seems worthwhile if you have time!
Loved it! We went at about 6 on a Monday night, so it was really quiet and we got to use the props and take loads of photos.
Really well done. I enjoyed it.
It was cool. I took my daughter who is 7. She liked it. Its just that its small. Not much too it. For the price I would have liked to be entertained for more than 15 minutes.
This place is fun and unique. Good place to go to be entertained for a couple hours by fun facts and figurines. If you bring quarters you can play and shooting game inside. Also we went near the end of the open hours and had the whole place to ourselves, a nice bonus.
Great attractions for 60, 70s and 80s error
Some figures were spot on,excellent horror section but some figures you were guessing who they were
Came with my wife and friend during our brief stay in LA. We visited as part of the package deal to see the wax museum, Ripleys Believe it or Not museum, and Guinness world records museum. This alone was worth the price of the pass itself! So fascinating to see the life like wax figures and the intricate attention to detail. Plenty of celebrities to go around and especially enjoyed the horror exhibit.
I take a lot of people here. Have been for years. Whenever someone visits I take em here. It never changes really. Its cool because you get all 3 museums, but they hardly change. This time I entertained myself by putting a joint on the dummies. Heres a few, see if you can find the j!
Had a blast with the stars there were a few that looked life like. Love that you had several opportunities to pose with a scene.
It was a nice one. I had fun going through it. The celebrities they have are pretty cool.
We got the combo ticket for Ripley and the Wax museum. The Wax museum was a nice surprise. Kids adored the props, which add fun to taking pictures. The horror section was also very nice. Loved it more than the Madam Tusso museum.
The prices were really inexpensive but the most amazing thing about this place were the statues they looked like real live people and I enjoyed seeing my favorite movie stars up close and personal and at the end I got to see some of the avengers outfits and props and watch a 4d movie definitely would come back here again.
This was a rough one to rate because value has to go into account. I happened to get tickets in a fundraising auction that also got me into the Guinness World Record museum across the street. At the regular $25.99 price, I probably would have given this only 2 stars. BUT there is an option that is $35 for both museums PLUS the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum (which I didn’t go to) and that is a much better deal... so this review assumes you did that. The wax museum was fun. There are a lot of cool scenes and a lot of selfie stations with props (that one can only hope are thoroughly washed). The wax figures themselves aren’t nearly as good as what I remember at the NY Madame Tussaud’s. Those were unreal and these are more like... oh... I see it. But it was still very fun and the scenes were cool. It definitely has that janky charm. You’re not going to spend more than an hour here so that’s why you should really hit all three of the museums.
Clean accessible restrooms. Elevator and ramps are available. They have a deal for three different museums.Wax statues are awesome and lifelike. Props are available for photos. If youre new to the area, finding an all day parking is key (about 20 dollars). Theres a lot to see on Hollywood Blvd.
The hollywood wax museum is an amazing experience. The characters inside bring the big screen to life, and make it real, solid, and, waxy. Well worth the admission, and for a similar price, you can also enter the Ripley’s believe it or not, and world record Museum on the same ticket.
Super fun! Some was figures didnt resemble the actors/ actresses to a T, but overall it was fun and something you should experience if you got the chance. Price wasnt too bad to get in either.
So first time coming to one of these and thought it was pretty cool. Creepy af, but cool. Might not want to come to one of these again. Nothing too grand, but still interesting.
Was a nice experience but the statues were not as realistic as other places which I will not name. Lots of characters that I knew and lots of props and accessories to use with the picture as well. I would say this to be a place just for fun and I am not sure if I would recommend this to others.
I had an awesome time. My first time in LA and I decided to see the stars, well to see their waxed duplicates. The staff were polite and professional. You can stay touring in there as long as you want.
This place is worth a look. Very cool wax sculptures. Some look almost life like. Others such as Eminem not really. My favorite was Forest Gump! I got to sit on his bench and take a picture with him and his chocolates!
It was pretty fun seeing some of my favorite Hollywood icons in wax. Most of the wax figures are good quality. A few were just ok. They’re A bit pricey for what you get, But overall it was a great experience though. Definitely would recommend.
Cool place for the family. Buy the vip tickets with that you can go to all 3. Had fun we will go again soon
A bit late posting - I know theyre closed but not much has changed in their figures in 3 years. I much prefer Madame Tussauds!
Decent place with the stars in wax, some seem to need a rework, but overall is very fun to equip goods and take pictures. I enjoyed it.
A neat experience, some of the figures I needed the name plaque to figure out who they were.
Fun place to bring the kids and kill some time.
We had a great time and will definitely be back soon with other friends and family. The figures were very life-like and realistic and the workers were pleasant.
Wax museum was great to take amazing photoes.I have one thing to mention. You should know before you come. There are a lot of street fraud. Be careful. Everybody is watching you to catch weak point. Especially, if you are a brand new in this area.
I used to go to this place all the time It had a lot of neat things inside lots of the statues from different movie Titles And I enjoyed going in there ....the one thing I liked about it the most wheres the gold glittery car that sat outside with Frankenstein sitting inside. I hate that they shut it down and did something else with it ...and they had an auction and sold all the statues from inside and they turn that place in the something else now I wish they would have left it there it was such a neat place to go. There is another wax museum in California that is open this one they shut down was in buena park and I think the other 1 is thats open is in Los Angeles
Lots of fun and able to pose with your favorite figures complete with props and all!
It was an amazing place with very real detail put into these wax statues. Its a lot of fun to take your children, date, or friends and pose in front of the statues.Of course, its a little pricey - but youre in Hollywood! Its worth the money and the memories.
I dont know about the others wax museuns, so I cant compare with them, anyway it is recommended if you buy the VIP tickets (Ripley, Guinness and Wax museum), some sculptures are really amazing
Love this wax museum, they have things you can wear for fun with the wax figures
My kids had a blast!!! Definitely worth it. Just some advice, if youre thinking of going its worth purchasing the VIP tickets. That way you could visit not only the Wax Museum, but Ripleys Believe It or Not, and Guinness World Records as well. Best part is you dont have to do all 3 places at once. You have an entire week to use your tickets. P.s they have pamphlets at the front desk and if you check the last page theres a $2 off coupon for up to 6 people. :)
Visiting this place was highly anticipated by my family and I, it was tons of fun to see the wax figures and the place wasnt too crowded. The only thing is that the figures themselves arent that realistic....but its still a blast!
This museum is amazing! Got to take photos with props and got to take our time touring around. The horror section was awesome!
Nice place and great discount on weekdays
Visited the Wax museum tonight and I must say the service at this location was terrible!! Be it that we’re not from the U.S and the L.A. wax museum is a TOURIST attraction being asked for picture I.D. along with showing both my credit cards and bank cards that both have MY name on it is absolutely ridiculous. Which tourist would be walking around with their passport or driver’s license in Hollywood!? Very disappointed not to mention you guys still let us in with no picture I.D. so I don’t get why the representative would ask for I.D. in the first place and then proceed to argue with me when I advised I don’t have it!! Furthermore the 15 minute self guided tour of the wax museum definitely wasn’t worth the $50+ spent nor the terrible/condescending service received today.
Nice museum, a lot of actors, the price is ok, try to get the offer with other museums will be worth it. Nice to walk around when you have time.
The replicas were astonishing. Loved that place. The props made it well worth well.
Great staff, checked off the bucket list
It was a great price if you combine it with the VIP pass to Ripleys and Guiness Worlds Records. Lots of cool things to see and do!
Its a small museum with a bunch of the wax famous people looking kinda off. I give it 3 stars because its fun. They have outfits you can try out to make it look like your in a scene. The best part is towards the end with the cool lighting. Also they have a horror section pretty cool too. If you have 40 bucks to spend I say go for it if not you wont miss a whole lot
Very fun place to visit! My kids had a blast.
Museum was ok, just not as high quality as the nearby Madame Tussauds. We got a combo ticket with other museums and was worth the visit but wouldnt have visited if we had to pay the full price ticket.
Its a smaller building, but there was a lot to it and really fun! Theres a horror room which was my personal favorite, but they had a good variety of actors, comedians and musicians throughout the rest of the building. There were prop stations at some of the scenes which allowed for interactive photos. The figures were really life-like and overall was just a fun place to be
I thinks its a little overrated, its kinda cool cuz the wax figures are actually size thee details are amazing and thee people definitely took alot of time and effort, I give them a lot of credit for it but over all as an attraction its not that exciting kinda boring actually u just walk through rooms with wax figures thats pretty much it
Had a great time....Fun experience!
People this place is going to be amazing
We had sooo much fun here. They have props on the statues so you can play around like hats, guitars etc
I thought it would be bigger in space than what it is.. But its fun for sure, some actors dont look like their real figures.
Super fun I recommend buying all three admissions as a package only 10 bucks more
Its really cool your even allowed to touch the wax stars. They have props you can also use for photos. They are pretty cool. I enjoyed it. But buy the pass for all three museums. Two are next door to each other and theres one across the street. Ripleys believe it or not, and Guinness book of world records. Awesome
Very cool to see but some sculptures dont look proper
It was cool! All my fav celebrities were there. My phone went dead or else I would captured more moments.
Wax museum was great experience I loved all the 3 palace
The wax figures were interesting and I’m glad I went but definitely not worth going back a second time around.
Very fun place to be .my kids had fun taking photos.
