Love this place! Its my favorite place in SF. It is the right amount of classy and trendy. It has comfortable seating and the music isnt too loud so that helps provide a chill, laid back atmosphere that promotes conversation. Its an awesome place to bring your friends from out of town to pre game before dinner or a night out clubbing or bar hopping so you can catch up. Its also a great place to bring a first date!

Im giving this spot 4 stars because the ambiance, the beer, and the fact that they have games. However, the food is very niche. Ordered a buffalo wrap and it came with sausage. Obviously I am tasked with reading the menu but how odd is that? Anyway, its a good local watering hole but cant say Id visit if it wasnt within walking/biking distance. Fun to grab a beer with friends in the neighborhood.

Ive always wanted to try Pasta Sisters because Ive heard people talking about it. It was my first time here and I got the Bolognese pasta (only selection with meat) with tagliatelle, which is a thicker noodle which I loved! My friend got the pesto pasta which was really good too. Service was great and we got our food quickly. The restaurant was really small but my friend and I managed to get seats. Definitely would come here again!

It’s super fun! This is exactly the kind of bar I like and that’s why it gets 5 stars. I was there on a saturday evening. Not too crowded, easy to approach people, great live music, awesome selection of games, from pool, table tennis, fusball, board games and others. A downside is that sometimes you need to wait for a while before getting your turn to play. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. I will definitely be back here.

Nice little spot in the heart of Montrose. Perfect for relaxing outside on a beautiful Sunday afternoon during lockdown 2.0. Two ladies were doing a great job running the place, checking in on us frequently and keeping the customers happy. Thee Elbow Room has a nice selection of beers on tap and some pretty nice items on the menu. The sausage platter is big and tasty and the Grilled Corned Beef Sandwich is excellent (very tender corned beef). Next time I will try the Godmother Sandwich. Zero complaints here and three cheers for Thee Elbow Room!

We came here to have dinner. Ran into this place on yelp and it was the only one that had 5 complete stars. I looked at the pictures and decided to make reservations to come here. From the minute we walked in to the restaurant everyone was so sweet & helpful. We ordered drinks and they were delicious, their calamari with shrimp was also so good. Everything about our experience we loved. Scott was so awesome with recommending drinks and food. He really made us feel comfortable and cozy. Ive been to brewcade twice and I must say its a pretty poppin spot on a Friday night. They have a good variety of beers on tap and their grape drank or flavored wine slushes are pretty strong. They dont have THAT many arcade games but if you go up to the bar they have a list of board games you can check out if you just leave your ID with them. The only complaint I have is that the staff isnt very friendly.

Extraordinary mix of people, but a very different experience from that of any jazz club youve ever been to. In other places, people observe a norm of quieting down to listen to the music and clapping at the solos. Here, the noisy party just carries on over the musicians, though people do show their appreciation by getting up to dance. Different but worth a visit.

Soo good! What a cute bar, Ive been meaning to come here for a while. I finally met up with my German friends a day before they headed back to Berlin. Great atmosphere, and many cool veganized menu items. I had the vegan Korean bowl which was amazing. I havent had Korean food in ages and being meat free, its hard to find meat free Korean options...but Tonys has it! Great place on a quiet part of Magnolia. There are even board games inside & a pool table. Pro Tip: Get yourself a KCRW Fringe Benefits Card & save yourself 15% off of the whole tab!

At 5,400 sq feet, this place is spacious with a beautiful bar and lots of seating. It has a dark, jazzy vibe that takes you back in time. Impressed by the drinks, games, and live band playing in Saturday night. Looking for a chill place where you can have fun in a group or on a date. Like games? They have board games along with pool tables and what not. The decor is all game themed, fake ticket booth facade as you enter downstairs from the main street. They have Aces pineapple cider on tap which was a treat. Aside from that you can get a wide variety of mixed drinks and tap beers. Band was playing covers from all decades and did them really well! Really fun bar in Downtown LA! I came here on a Saturday night after wanting to go out somewhere new, and since this place has been in the bookmarks for a while it was time to pull the trigger.Theres no cover which is always a good thing, and no line when we arrived which is a double plus. What drove me to this place was the space, vibe, and games. Its a very nice dimly lit bar with lots of room. You can play board games, ping pong, darts, and pool. What more can you ask for? Its definitely a combination of lounge and brewery where it has that casual vibe but with games.Draft beers are standard prices and you have to pay by the hour to check out stuff for the games you want to play. This place would be ideal for large groups for a birthday celebration or even a casual night out with a few friends.
