The Wiltern is as beautiful a music venue can be, both in its sound and aesthetics. Built in the early 1930s, it has stood the test of time and continues to marvel in contemporary times. Ive seen so many shows at the Wiltern, it never gets old and you will be taken back to a time when things were simple, yet feels so new. I recently saw Elbow there, and they sounded amazing, and all because of amazing people who have kept it alive and captivating for all who enter its doors.

I was supposed to see Lukas Graham perform here back in Feb. 2019 but unfortunately they had to reschedule for Oct. 2019. I was going to be abroad during that time so I had to ask for a refund. Everything went super smoothly got my refund and I was able to keep the CDs they were giving out with the purchase! I walk by here all the time since I live close by and it’s so sweet that with what’s currently going on they put signs to stay healthy and songs that are epic during the covid era! Love this place and hope to one day be able to enjoy a concert inside!

What a beautiful, historic theater with friendly staff. It felt like I was in a movie from the 1930s. It’s taken me decades to finally visit this famed theater and it was wonderful. My favorite part of the experience was that the theater is located right at the Wilshire/Western Metro stop. So I got to park my car for free at the North Hollywood station and then take a relaxing train ride directly to my concert. This is the way that LA should operate! A fantastic evening at a super-elegant, classy venue.

The iconic Wiltern will completely dazzle you with their interior, comparative of old style, classic, upscale Hollywood. Absolutely gorgeous! The staff is extremely helpful and seem happy to be there! The shows are nothing but quality and I had the privilege of seeing this genius performance featured on the marquee, and am looking forward to a return trip! Thanks all! A classic concert venue dating back to 1931. The way seats are structured here, the balcony seats are actually good seats both as far as audio and seeing whats going on onstage. Beautiful Art Deco details, lovingly restored. Just dont buy drinks or snacks here...way overpriced. This is why I knocked off a star. Prices are extortionate.

THE WILTERN THEATRELos Angeles Historic Cultural Monument (LAHCM) #118 and Art Deco-Style Movie PalaceBuilt in 1931 and named for its location at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard + Western Avenue. Art Deco architectural style.I had often seen The Wiltern while driving past the theatre on Wilshire Blvd or Western Ave. It looked like a run-down old theatre to me, probably playing very old movies from back in the day. Then one day I finally got a chance to go inside and discovered this GORGEOUS ART DECO PALACE inside!! =O

Parking is right next to Wiltern and was $25 for the Sabaton event.Theres a lot nearby, restaurants and bars included, and all in walking distance.Inside is very nice with an elegant bar. We sat in the mezzanine and had a great view! Acoustics are nice in their auditorium, the entire show had great sound!

Its another of the many classic beautiful theaters we are lucky to have in Los Angeles. They share much in common. Sound is best on the floor, and better toward the center. Balcony suffers. Bathrooms are always too few in these old theatres, especially if you drink beer! One thing they do well at the Wiltern is the bars. There are numerous bars and the wait in line is minimal. Food is nothing, so eat before you come. The time showing on your ticket is when the doors open so save the wait in the long line that goes down the block and come 45 minutes later.

A wonderful show with Chris Botti. He has so many talented artists performing with him! Delightful show with only two complaints, both related to the venue. (1) the sound balance was quite off at the beginning, where Chris was totally overpowering his violinist and pianist (thankfully corrected after about 15 minutes), and (2) the Mezzanine seating is very uncomfortable if you are tall. My knees were jammed into the seat jn front of me. Though it is an old art-deco theatre and I admit the sight lines from the mezzanine were quite good.

The Wiltern is a beautiful venue. Great staff and atmosphere too. My only issue with it is that it has a poor “floor” section. The mezzanine and pit areas are what you’d expect but not the floor. It’s divided into tiers which are only about 1 step about each other and the individual tiers are pretty much level (not sloped) and are all about the same height as the stage. Unless you are right up against the barriers of each tier or are really tall expect to have an obstructed view of the stage. Still enjoyed myself immensely but there are other venues which will give you a much better floor experience.

This is my first time at the Wiltern theater and we saw Dire Straits in concert. This historical landmark has impressive architectural details throughout the entire building. First floor, lobby, upstairs, outside. Hands down it is quite an artistic feat. The auditorium had good acoustics and visibility was also great. The best located in the lobby was easy to get to during intermission and the bar tenders where sporting big smiles and eager to suggest or recommend a drink id you are uncertain or just feeling adventurous and want to try something completely new for a change. The Wiltern is located in the heart of downtown Los angeless by Miracle mile and just east of Korea town. If you like to bike ride there your fine since former mayor Villaraigosa and with the ending help of Edward Bagley Jr LA is officially a bike town with well marked bike lanes, metro bikes or hulu bikes you can rent anywhere and take on Buses or the metro anywhere. Lastly automotive drivers are aware of cyclists. In short id love to see another performance at the Wiltern.

A classic art deco live music and more event space. Named for its mashed up cross streets, Western and Wilshire, it stands tall over the intersection in an instantly recognizable off blue. Inside is just as well appointed and of the style. Tall arches and high ceilings show murals and more. Photos of previous performers adorn the walls. Five bars and downstairs restrooms provide much needed relief to any attendees. Sound is very good and the seats are comfortable for a hour or so, then your butt starts to hurt!
