An amazing, professional, multi-functional, well-priced, and clean theatre and event space run by the friendliest staff in LA!! I produce an industry showcase for Tisch School of the Arts alumni and we were lucky enough to host it at The Pico last February. Everything about our experience was fantastic. At any point during our process - from auditions to performance - if we ran into a problem, had a question, needed a piece of equipment, etc. Mika and her staff were immediately available to go above and beyond to make sure our show was a success. The dressing rooms are spacious and clean with a relaxing green room space and full kitchen and laundry. The rehearsal/classroom space is large and bright. The theatre is everything you could hope for; because you can move the seating and risers into any configuration you have so many options for staging and audience capacity. Plus the theatre is fully-equipped with new lighting, sound, and projection equipment. They even helped us find a fantastic, reasonably priced stage manager. We have already booked the space for next years showcase! Additionally, Ive started privately teaching a weekly class in the rehearsal/classroom and producing other theatre and staged readings at The Pico. Ive been producing theatre and events for over twenty years and The Pico is now my go to space in Los Angeles.

Great space. Friendly, warm and clean. Staff is terrific. Lighting is excellent. A very comfortable place. The play we saw was James and The Giant Peach. We took our children and they loved it! So did I. Bravo.

An intimate independent theater. Great for plays, comedy shows and other performing arts. Only 100 seats, so you get to be a part of whats going on on stage.

Just saw Much Ado About Shakespeares performance of The Tragedy of Hamlet. It was so good, I had to see both showings! Parking is pretty easy at the golf course as long as you leave before they lock the gate at 10pm, or street parking.

It is a cute, small, place perfect for small plays. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking wasnt bad at all, you just need to be catefully read the restrictions. It is definitly not a place for big productions. At the time when I attended the sound system wasnt working very well and some actors and singers had to perform without it. It wasnt a problem since the place is very small but it took Something from the delivery of the songs. Over all not a bad place.

Theater is nice enough, but last night s production of Stockholm was terrible. As long as you dont expect much, I guess its more hit and miss here.

Improv for the People or IFP is an amazing community of professional improv classes, but they accept amateurs as well. Ask for Matt!

Not the largest venue, but the intimacy of the place played up the local improv show that I went to see. Street parking nearby has very easy to understand rules, making evening shows here very accessible

The worst casting ever! Looked like they were smoked out. Cheap theater, cheap costumes, I purchased 7 tickets, came from very far, and left super post off. Trash, everything was worthless except the mouse somewhat a bit funny and one ballerina her out for was nice. The acting was garbage, cant act, the bit of singing seemed like some didnt Im remember the words to the songs or just didnt care. The hair on some of the women looked horrible. This was and is 100% worthless disappointment, filthy trash. ADVISE DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS, GO TO THE REAL THING!
