Lg Dog park was fine, small dog was just a strip of land--- no water, benches nothing
Reminds you that nature calms the spirit and humanity can still be beautiful.
Great running park. Shaded, most of it is running through forest. Theres a very wide concrete trail all the way through. 2.8 miles. Its an easy run as far as parks go. Theres one stop light you have to wait at, but its quick.Google navigation doesnt show the entrance to the park, it shows the middle. I posted a picture of where the entrance is - off of Summers Drive. Not lighted, so it gets very dark.Restrooms half way through at the google entrance.
Clean, wide trail on which you can walk, run, or ride a bike. Multiple access points and a couple playgrounds along the way.
Love walking or just having a cool place to eat away from people. When we do meet people along the way they are always respectful of distance.
A relaxing, tranquil place to walk yourself or your dog.
Very long beautiful trail. Trees everywhere! Friendly folks. Very clean and well kept.
A beautiful flat and smooth Trail great for bike riding for all ages. Encountering friendly people of all ages also
Love it. Great scenic trail. Everytime Ive gone on it Ive seen deer just crossing through.
A good park with a nice, wide, paved path. The path is about 3 miles one way, and is marked every quarter mile by a small metal medallion in the concrete. Occasionally after a heavy rain parts of the path may be covered in water, so thats something to consider. Overall a great little city park.
Always love coming here trees provide plenty of shade. Although during the rainy season it floods and trees fall on the trail. Its always cleared fairly quick.
Me and my wife Kimlyn had a great time walking the deers scared us lol, we will be back on this Wednesday and Friday if I dont rain, if not next Monday evening we will be there.
A beautiful place to go for a walk with the family
Fun clean trail nice woods
Its nice lots of activity rest stops
Well maintained great place to walk run or cycling
Our dog loves going to the dog parks!
Loved walking this trail and getting in a 2 to 3 mile walk every other day. The scenery causes you to clear your head, put on earphones and just stroll.
Great park and walking trail. Very well maintained and friendly atmosphere. I come here often and plan to continue doing so.
This park is amazing. The trail is 3 miles long with rest areas, a park and outdoor park workout equipment scattered. When Im in town, I love to walk it to get Fitbit steps or take my nephews to the park. Well usually walk from the entrance on the loop. Well usually bring popsicles and water for the walk and snacks while at the park a little past Fairmont. Perfect place to accomplish your step goals or tire out the kiddos. There are currently tons of trees down throughout the trail pushed to the side, so that sucks and the trail can be cleaned more often. Pet owners allow their pets to discard waste on sidewalks and if feel it sits a while before taken care of, if it even does get taken care of. Cool birds on the walk and Look at the we found on the trail.
Its the nicest addition to Longview
My favorite trail to bike ride.
Very nice walk way nicely laid out
I love that there is equipment all over the trail. Was able to get a good workout.
This was an amazing place to walk with different workouts on the way. Definitely surprised me and Ill be back to walk to there soon
Its a very beautiful paved trail. You can tell they keep it maintained. My brother-in-law told me that it was something like 2.9 miles. They are also working on connecting it with another trail, if they havent already as of May 2019.Its fairly well traveled, with a decent amount of people passing us while we walked part of it that weekday evening. Plenty of people go on bikes and my sister roller-bladed from one end to the other without any problem.Theres one street crossing that I know of. Right now the button to let you cross only crosses to follow the trail. I felt like I had to hustle slightly to get to the other side on time; it wasnt too bad. It was the Bill Owens and Fairmont light. There are bathroom facilities at the midway point and a water fountain. There are quite a few benches all along the trail, too, and the grass on the sides was mowed.
Good trail to get some exercise on
I liked it. I love parks. My sista from another mister & I took her children. Nice & clean. Place for skateboarders, nice trail, picnic tables, water fountain, & you can bring your dog.
Good trail for biking or running, is just shy of 6 miles from Loop 281 to Highway 80 and back. Be warned of possible path flooding after heavy rain. Great scenery all year round, though there are some parts that could use some more cleaning up from a storm in Feb/March 2019. Some parts of the year in evening hours you may see or hear deer. Theres two dog parks o the Loop 281 end. Between Loop 281 and Fairmont St. section there are different exercise equipment to use if wanted while running or biking. A public restroom is located at the Fairmont St. entrance.
Very nice place to walk tor rife a bicycle. Its an outdoor walk that has several perks along the way. The best feature in the city of Longviee, Texas
My favorite walking trail! Always clean!
This was my first time visiting and I really loved it! There were lots of friendly faces and active fitness people everywhere. Sitting areas are a plus! I enjoyed seeing all the different dogs. I personally wouldnt recommend wearing earbuds while walking, stay alert at all times!... I havent walked in a while but I would visit again soon!
Looks nice as I drive by. Google really needs to learn what stopping looks like in their data.
What a beautiful a fun place for dogs! They thought of everything including drinking fountains at their height! You have to take your furbaby
I love this trail! Its perfect for walking, jogging, or on a bike. People are always friendly and the trail can be long or short depending on your time and fitness level. Beautiful scenery and gentle hills and curves accentuate the positive atmosphere that envelops this area. This trail is therapeutic for me, and I always feel so good during and after my forays on it. I highly recommend this treasure in Longview!
Very clean and gave me a safe feeling!
I live by the trail and love it. I hated to see all the trees down bc the lazy walk through the shaded trail by the trees was great. But still love it bc of the wildlife right here in the city. I see deer all the time and just love that just a few blocks away.
The freakin best!! I loved it!!
I rode the entire trail on my mountain bike and talk to so many wonderfully exciting people
Great paved trail for running, walking, biking. Recent storms made a mess of the scenery, but the trail is clear and it is slowly being cleaned up. There is parking on each end and in two central areas. Restrooms in the two central areas. Good for families / kids.
Awesome little trail. Last time I went there was about 10 feet. Recommend!
Nice park with easy paved trails for walking. Sometimes gets flooded or dirt covered after a rain due to the creek nearby. You are likely to see white tail deer at dusk.
Love this trail. It is a great place to take the grandkids for a fun, safe bike ride. There were a lot of trees down, this trip, due to all the recent storms. Still, it was a fun day. We will always be back. Its part of our family.
Its amazing! I always love going to this park
Nice walking park. Clean bath rooms. Beaitiful scenery.
Is a good place to walk
This is such a great park, well kept, lovely playground, and the longest, nicest trail. Bring the family and enjoy!!
Great scenery, wildlife. Frequently see hawks and deer and other birds and animals.
Very nice
My dog absolutely loves this park and I do as well. Its beautiful has three dog parks and lots of trails for biking or walking.
I like the nature feel
The view along the trail is beautiful but there are some fallen trees do to the spring storm. The trail can get really packed especially when the cyclists are on it which makes it hard to walk a dog. Overall its a nice trail if you choose the right time!
Well paved with just enough shade for a nice walk.
Love the trail ... can’t wait for the city to finish all the trail expansion projects they’ve been talking about
It was nice but a hommles man sleping on the bench
Really nice, they have some equipment as well. Cant beat free!
The trail is a nice place to take a walk, bike, or go roller blading. Especially if you stay on the stretch coming off the loop. There is a restroom at one of the locations, i believe off fairmont, but its not very clean.
Ride my bike there, the view is nice
I love to walk this part of the trails whether by myself or with my Dog. Its clean with 2 dog parks.
Love it. I go running and walking here few times a week
LOVE IT!!!! Longview really needed a good safe walking trails & the view on the trails make you forget your exercising & great for kids
Clean, shaded, paved walking biking trail through the ️ of Longview.
Nice trail through Longview. Well kept.
Nice easy walking trail, or running. never crowded. great place for dogs as well, there are 2 dog parks here
Great place for exercise
Very nice and clean, well maintained ...keep up the good work.
Paul Boorman Trail is a three mile trail, with one park and several exercise stations hidden throughout the trek. The trail is secluded from the city, with the exception of one street crossing at Fairmont. There is a bridge which runs underneath HG Moseley. At the Loop 281 entrance there is a dog park complete with water fountains for four-legged friends. On our first outing I saw a family of deer, which was very nice. Overall, the Paul Boorman trail is a great trail for the entire family.
Nice park for running, biking or just walking. at night you can spot deer or armadillo, and copperhead snakes. But beware if you park late at night, cars do get robbed, and me and my daughter witnessed a lady getting grabbed in the behind by some perve.
Nice little trail!! Needs more lights though.
Wifey loved it
Its a beautiful park to walk, run or ride your bike. The forest look is amazing in all colors of leaves, brush, etc. The trail is paved so accessible to handicap. Place for parking feels safe. Thank you
Well kept and very nice dog parks
Great walking trail and great racquet ball
Great walking trail
Our dogs love it and gives us a chance to be part of the outdoors!
Plenty of children to play with and lots of fun.
The trails were all concrete so I had to go off trail to get in my need for hiking.
Its a huge park, peaceful and quiet, alot to see and just to be in nature
A great place to walk but they need to keep the grass mowed better Im afraid of snakes
Beautiful park. Really kid and pet friendly
Great running trail. Low traffic...
Nice playground for little kids only problem is theres no restrooms.
Great walking trail. Not too crowded. The only drawback was the trail by Hwy 80 was under water so I couldnt walk the entire trail.
Might be the best park in Longview
Nice trails and a great dog park!
Love taking dogs here. Nice walking trail.
Its really nice
Lovely and when others pass and say good morning, makes it nice to really southern hospitality no matter who you are.
Started on the north end and a bicyclist confirmed that it was 3 miles one way. The trail is relatively flat and curves some. Ended up running the whole thing, down and back!
A large park with something for everyone. Lots of parking and room to play.
Family bike rides there is always fun.
Great place to take a run or bring your dog
Good place to take the kids
