Great place to chill, have a picnic, or ride your bike around. Water is freezing in the spring so would only recommend swimming in late summer.

Very peaceful and nice place to fish

Beautiful location right at the mouth of the canyon. There is parking and bathrooms and a dock. There are also a walking path that leads father up the canyon.

Gorgeous place. Quiet and relaxing

This is where people that rarely go outside visit. Its frustrating going here and seeing all the people feeding the ducks bread even when there are signs everywhere saying not to (try bird seed!!) Cops will stroll the park making sure nobody is hanging hammocks up because its apparently illegal here. A chain link fence halts hiking up high and restricts animals access to water, last summer there were two dead deer caught in the fence. If you go here, leave it better than you found it!

For a quick trip on a weeknight to fish or kayak its a quick and easy place to visit. Usually pretty busy but if youre ok with fighting a crowd, Id recommend this site!

You can catch fish right off the big dock and the eastern bridge. Great place to explore with kids. Bring a blow-up raft, canoe, or kayak if you have one

It was very fun and I loved it and you get to feed the ducks and other animals so it was very awesome I recommend it for any one who is in Logan

Pretty and nice place to have a picnic, watch the ducks and fisherman swim! It does get crowded on holidays but people are usually pretty nice to each other and share the space well.

Always a relaxing spot which is at the mouth of Logan canyon as you enter Cache valley national forest. Duck feeding is a fun thing you will see as the spring and summer kicks in. You can hike/trail run the bonneville and skyline across from this picnic area. Fun spot. Deer trail right across the reservoir is also very fun hike. Dont get lost.

First Dam is a great place to hang out and relax. It has a nice little park, is right next to a few great trails, and is just a few minutes away from the center of Logan. A couple of things to keep in mind: 1.) Yes, you can swim here but the water is pretty much always cold. Really cold (even in July and August). 2.) Logan City code prohibits being in public parks after dusk. You might see a lot of people doing it, but they can technically give you a citation for trespassing if you are there after dark. Be safe and have fun!
