Cute little zoo. We like that the admission charge is small and you can get close to the animals. We find a new favorite one each time we go. This time it was the black swan with its snake like neck. I dont know what the red and orange bird was, but it was fun to watch as well.

Cute little zoo. I appreciate that the admission is affordable for a family and the gift shop had small inexpensive items as well. The animals all looked healthy and well cared for although some of the exhibits seemed a bit small. The big trees made it comfortable even on a warm day. It is a nice short outing and kids love feeding the ducks and geese.

I play softball there as well as use the skate park from time to time. The swimming pool (although close this summer) is right next to it which makes it convenient as well. There are plenty of places to have picnics and big trees for lots of shade, oh and the zoo is there as well, so you can spend good family time there.

This park is wonderful! All the huge trees shade the main playground all summer long, making this such a great place for kids to play at when its hot. Its also fun to go to the other playgrounds to the south and west, for dinner variety.

Family-friendly place, good for many activities- reunions, parties, picnics, playing, etc.; good zoo; close proximity to the county fairgrounds and to a largely unused dog park (at least I think that area is still a dog park. Idk. There are signage, structure, paraphernalia, accoutrements, etc. still set up for a dog park but I have not seen anyone use it in such a long time (ca. 1-1 1/2 years now); that is why I question if it is still actually a dog park or not.

This park has two things going for it. One on the east side next to the zoo there is a playground almost always shaded. The second is the fishing pound. It is stocked with a variety of fish by the Utah DWR. This pound has lots of ducks. I like to take my boy to see. The downside to this pound is some of the anglers who access this natural resource leave their worm containers behind. This is horrible if you fish here. Please be a responsible sportperson and pack out what you pack in. If you are looking for a pond to set fish free to wild where they belong, this place isnt for you. Most likely those species fish didnt come from that pound or this state for that matter. If you want to play of game would you rather, I would rather people leave thier trash in the pond than their pets. Trash is a lot easier to clean up. It is also not a spot to drop off the duck that came from the ducklings you may have got your kids this past spring. If you are looking for a place to drop that duck off and remove all responsibly of taking care of that look no further than your crock pot. Roasted duck is pretty great and more environmental friendly than releasing your no longer wanted pets into the wild. If you wish to feed the ducks here get in touch with local DWR official and ask how you can help build the habit around this pond. Duckweed and watercress are native plants that ducks and fish love and gives them the proper nutrients they need to survive in the wild. The bread and other things you may want to feed them just makes them fat and unhealthy; in the worst cases unable to fly. Please dont give them your moldy bread. That can lead to sickness and death.

Small air conditioned gift shop, has drinks, shirts, toys, candy etc. Picnic tables and bin hes inside, you could probably bring food and eat in here but I would double check first. They will sell you duck feed when you purchase your ticket. Great place for a date or to bring small children.

Its a good park, technically 3 parks, but only 1 bathroom. The parks are each unique. One is for older kids, and has lots of places to hang and climb, plus swings and lovely little park benches and tables. One is oriented towards toddlers and preschoolers, with short slides, and easy to climb ladders and steps. The third is for everybody, and was designed to be accessible to all people, walking, crawling, or rolling a wheelchair. It even has a special swing for those who cant use a standard swing. Only the big kid park has a lot of shade, but the accessible park is near the pond, so thats a plus. Overall, a great place for kids of all ages. And near the zoo!
