I loved it. We had a lot of fun walking around and seeing different birds and animals. Also today for Halloween they did amazing. They had pipes that they used to social distance while giving the children candy. We found a tradition we will do every Halloween!!!
They are upgrading/updating enclosures. The petting zoo was just a couple sheep and some friendly goats. Was not crowded. Great escape for an hour that didnt even feel that long! All the animals were visible and active or at napping in view. Great improvements since last visit a couple years ago.
Surprisingly excellent. Very friendly staff and you can actually see the animals. Wold definitely go back. My kids love the the seasonal activities (ie Halloween scavenger hunt). Super fun. Lots of places to sit and watch the kiddos play.
Great little regional zoo! Low cost @ $5, you can even get a bag of duck food for only $1. Lots of ducks & geese to feed. Got to listen to the coyotes go at it as a train passed nearby. Only issue was the restrooms. The lights didnt work and the ladies had no soap and the mens had no water. I used my phones light to see by. Everyone was super helpful and answered any questions you had. Looks like there will be several improvements done within the next several months! Im excited to see whtnew experiences they bring!
Has a great time at Bootah! The animals were amazing and all the employees were very kind and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Stroller friendly, shady, nice little variety of animals. It only takes about an hour to get through the whole thing, even taking your time. So its a great place for a quick outdoor activity with the kids. The attached park and playground is also a nice bonus.
Society needs more little places like this. Quick and easy access, great way to spend an hour or two with kids or a date. For 1 dollar u can get duck food. Staff is very friendly. Great selection of birds and cute miniature deer.
Fun little zoo! The kids absolutely loved it. Boo at the Zoo was really fun.
Nice little zoo. Just big enough for small kids.
A lot of fun. Great way to knock off a couple hours. Great date for my wife and I.
We enjoy coming here with our kids, they love seeing the animals, and mostly, they love feeding the ducks. It was fun to see that theyve been working on new improvements!
My kids got to pet a reindeer, a snake, a guinea pig, and a bunny and we got to see other animals and Christmas lights! What more can we ask for!
A nice outing with my kids! $5 for adults, $4 for kids. $1 for duck food. I would definitely get the food. It is a lot of fun feeding the ducks and geese! I would recommend it!
Fun time for all ages! Staff was very kind and friendly.
The ducks come right up to you. My 16 month old loved petting the goats. Would be nice if added few more animals
Zootah is a hidden gem of fun for families with kids. There are of course cute little animals like swans and turtles. They also seem to be taking care of Dexter from Night in the Museum. My oldest daughter and I were treated to a hilarious show until I pulled out my phone to video his antics, once I did that Dexter left in disgust. Oh, stars these days; so camera shy.
This place is pretty fun. We go often. I think it is around 5$ to get in for adults. The animals are up pretty close, but there are not too many of them. This year, we went to Zoo-lights. The kids had fun. There were a lot of lights, very few people (which was so refreshing), a petting zoo, Santa, and the gift shop.
Small zoo, has lots of fun animals. My kids love feeding the ducks and being able to run around freely. Close to a park. Lots of fun!
Considering this is a VERY small neighborhood zoo, I was very impressed with the amount of animals. Nothing too crazy such as lions and tigers, but things Id never seen at a larger zoo such as porcupine. They also had monkeys and different forest animals. The cost to get in wasnt too high and the size was great for an afternoon at the zoo. Plan extra costs for duck food or the elk feeding. Our 3 year old enjoyed feeding the ducks so much that the rest of the animals werent even as cool. Ducks are everywhere and are not shy though so watch little hands because they will get nibbled.
I thought this was a nicely kept small zoo. The animals appeared to have stimulating enrichment toys, the enclosures were clean and appeared appropriately large enough. We arrived too late for the petting zoo and the birds were mostly indoors, but for a small zoo they had a nice variety of animals. Spend a couple of dollars for the duck food...they are quite the little beggars
This is a place that you need to go with the correct expectations. If you have little kids and want to help them learn about animals, this is the place! They have lots of fun animals for the kids to see and interact with. This place is almost never crowded making for a fun family trip!Tips:Call ahead to find out the feeding so you can come at a good time.Purchase the $1 duck food as your kids will have a blast feeding ducks the whole way through.Talk with the workers. They are knowledgeable and love the animals.
Nice little zoo. You can see it all in about an hour. Enjoyed very much.
What a little gem, we took our 7yr old daughter n had a blast the staff was all super friendly and helpful about info. We will definitely be coming back n telling our friends
Fun place to take kids. They have a petting area that is fun. They are growing and adding more things. Dont go expecting a big zoo and you shouldnt be disappointed.
Absolutely love this little zoo. 10 out of 10
Super fun. We showed up right before 3pm and were able to buy tickets to let the kids go inside the bird cage and feed them! The free roaming ducks were also a hit with the little ones
Our grandsons had the best time... they loved feeding the ducks!
Live that they are charging now and keeping this place updated. Id recommend keeping the shade!
Pretty cool for being at a park in Logan. Not the cleanest or best kept zoo, but it is a zoo! No maps available and signage is limited. More ducks than anything. Overall not bad but not too impressive either.
Enjoyed the lights and seeing nocturnal animal activity
Love Zootah. Its very affordable and a lot of fun with a very laid back atmosphere. Despite its size it has a good amount of different animals.
Small zoo, bathrooms are dirty and broken. The rest of the zoo was very good. Mostly local birds, but they do have some species from around the world. On this occasion, a staff member was letting people feed a reindeer.
This is a great little place to spend some time. There are lots of birds and small animals.
I havent been to this zoo since 2010, when it was Willow Park Zoo. I cant believe how much it has changed for the better!! Its incredible! It looks like a real zoo now! And as a former employee of Willow Park Zoo, the staff allowed me to reunite with my favorite little buddy. THIS IS NOT ALLOWED FOR THE PUBLIC.
We love to come to this cute little zoo. No elephants or other exotic animals here, but we got to pet a reindeer. Feed the ducks. See porcupines and black swans. And the barking deer are so cute!
Its really fun to take the family here.
While this place may not have a variety of larger animals like tigers or elephants it has more interesting animals you wouldnt see at a larger zoo. I love this place and would highly suggest it!
Its wonderful to have this little zoo hidden away in Logan. I visit it often. As it was one of the best times Ive had here, their Christmas celebration should also be noted.
Great place for the entire family. While I miss the free entrance of years ago and the bears this Zoo is still fantastic and looks like they continue to work on it and improve. I dont mind having to pay a little money for a great experience. Besides I remember reading a few years back they lost some funding. Bottom line the Zoo is still open and its fantastic!
Small private non profit zoo. I think it would be a great wild animal rescue center.
Great little zoo and nice park around it.
Great place to take your kids. You can see many improvements happening. Every time we go the zoo gets better and better. I highly recommend the zoo lights around Christmas time. Dont forget to go in the building (which I think many people do) inside is an iguana, sugar gliders and many more. The staff is friendly and always willing to educate if you ask questions.
Weve loved coming here! Theres lots of animals especially ducks and birds. They sell duck food for only a couple dollars extra. Its a great place to bring kids and burn some time if youve got it.
Cute zoo with awesome prices my kids absolutely adored petting the animals at the petting zoo
Had fun feeding the ducks.
Very Enjoyable!
Cute little zoo at a decent price. Mostly there are birds, but there are a few other animals too.
Lots of cute animals. The geese, ducks, and swans are super friendly. The reindeer has got some personality and know that people mean food. Definitely somewhere that I would love to visit again.
They have a lot of fun, creative activities that are fun for kids and it is always fun to go see the animals and the exhibit! The staff is always helpful, friendly, and welcoming. It is great to go enjoy and support our own small taste of wildlife right in town!
Great little local zoo, definitely worth a trip. Id say to give yourself at least 2 hrs to fully enjoy the zoo. Also purchase a bag of bird food so you can feed the Nene and the other ducks and geese.
Love the openness of it the grassy area to have picnics fun day just to spend with family nice playgrounds near by
$5 per adult and $4 per child is a bit excessive for the amount of animals and overall experience, however I understand its probably necessary to keep it up and running. It was very interactive with the ducks, as they sell a bag of duck food at the gate for a dollar, and the ducks clearly expect it and will come running. Many picnic tables and grassy areas available for a day of family fun
Great place to take the family! Nice variety of animals. Lots of shade and lots of benches to sit on!
It was fun and amazing I certainly will go back
Its a nice little walk, but dont go expecting full habitats and exotic or endangered animals. There are just North American animals in fenced-in enclosures. I would say its closer to a petting zoo than something like the San Diego Zoo... except you dont get to touch most of the animals.
Cute little zoo. I liked the layout of seeing all the animals. Feeding the birds was a hit for the kids. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a playground right outside the zoo if people wanted to have something to do afterwards.
What a fun, little zoo. Great for a city like Logan to have. There is a small admission fee, where it used to be free, but theyve really cleaned the place up and made it feel like an actual zoo. Its right next to Willow Park.
Really sweet little zoo for a fantastic price, do your research and go when the petting zoo is open! The ducks, however, dont give a duck about the duck food you can buy.
Love this place! This has always been one of my familys favorite places. From Boo at the Zoo to Zoo Lights, to seeing new additions in spring, always something fun to see and do!!!
I remember the bears wish you still had them
The Christmas lights are always amazing. Fun to go to year round!
This fun small zoo is a perfect place to bring small kids. They dont have and large carnivores at this zoo, so you dont have to worry if your kids got eaten if you turn around and realize they have not been following you. Since the animals are small the cages are closer together, so kids can quickly go from one animal to the next due to their short attention span.I highly recommend this zoo if you are in Logan and looking for a zoo...and not only because I dont know of any other zoo in Logan.
We were there for a birthday party--which was great! My review is cut in stars only because we had a HORRIBLE time getting to and getting in the party. There was no one at the front window of the zoo, so no one to ask where to go. We saw no signs directing us either. Our host was of course busy and unable to answer the phone (obviously), so we ended up wandering around the zoo trying to figure it out. We knew it was supposed to be in the learning center, but the building was locked with no signs to give us more information. We finally pounded on the door (knocking want heard), and got in. Turns out, the correct entrance was on the other side, facing the park--NOT the zoo OR the parking lot. There were ZERO signs saying anything about where to go for the party OR the learning center. It was SO frustrating. Other than that, Id have given 5 stars.
Fun place to visit!
Not worth the cost. I feel like they used to have more.
My son loves the petting zoo. Good addition to the zoo. Just sad that they changed their name. It will ways be willow park zoo to me.
Bring the kids and buy 2 bags of duck food!
Its a great place to take your family
It was a really cool zoo with a lot of different animals. While I was there the tortoises were giving each other a piggyback ride. They had fun.
They have been making some really nice improvements (with more to come I understand). We love the petting zoo (only available at certain times so check ahead if thats what you want to do). Last time we were there my daughter got to toss fish to the pelican. She still cant stop talking about it! We spent a good hour and a half here and played on the playgrounds. Fun way to spend an afternoon!
This is a small pleasant zoo without the crowds or high prices.
Ive been going to this zoo ever since I was little and every time I go I have a magical experience. Its no San Diego zoo or anything like that; its very small and quaint. However, its incredibly cheap and has an awesome variety of animals that are obviously very well cared for. Its a great place for kids as well as adults. I hope one day to bring my own kids here so they can experience the magic as well.
Lots of fun for the kids. Not super big but a good deal for the price.
Always a fun little place to visit. Priced at $5 a person on 6/8/19. Great for an hour or less to explore with the family. Theyve got what might be the record setting oldest screech owl at 20 years old.
They had super cute animals and brought out some new baby sugar gliders for us to see! Super nice people too!
Price, good/affordable. Good size and worth your money. Duck food is a sandwich size bag for $1. Overall good place to take the family.
Love this place! Never heard of it and have lived in Utah my whole life!!!
Good place to chill and look at Lemurs.
This zoo used to be better
A good value and fun for the whole family. :-) my kids loved the petting zoo are and feeding the birds especially.
Pretty good for the price and location, not a lot of variety.
It was only 3.50 when we went in November! It was definitely worth the price to just wander around for an hour!
Enjoyable place for the family
Zootah is super cute for what it is, a tiny community zoo with a decent variety of animals and a lovely spirit. For a dollar you can buy a bag of food for the ducks, and while we were there they had an outreach program where zoo workers brought animals around for people to interact with. There were activities for kids and informational posters. It was an absolutely wonderful time and Im glad that we were able to go.
Lots of fun, kids enjoyed seeing all the animals. Liked the anti-alcohol campaign.
We had a blast! Its a little small, but the animals were so cute and we had fun.
Loved the zoo! Very clean, very affordable, well organized, great staff. Exhibits were wonderful! Plenty to see and do, great for a variety of ages. Yet, you can see and do it all in an hour or so! Perfect for little ones. My 7 year old loved reading all the wonderful facts about the animals!
This zoo is super cool for being so small. The variation of animals for the size is really good. There are a few interactive activities which are fun and there are lots of sugns with information about the animals. Love to see this grow.
This place is great for a cheap play date, the ducks like to be fed ($1 per bag of duck food), and the petting zoo inside ($0.25 for food there) give you plenty of fun for kids.
Super cute walk through zoo! Great place to bring family
Great zoo
This is a nice, small zoo. The workers are kind and helpful. The petting zoo is fun with goats, sheep, and rabbits. The mammals are mainly local. Some of the birds are exotic. The turtles are the reptiles on display. The prices are low - $4 /adult and $3 /child. The gift shop had pretty neat items in it as well.
