Good place for a first Sirius carving adventure. Make sure to bring a helmet. Dont go if you are a big person or over 300 pounds. Also bring someone who is experienced. Dont go alone and use the map I have provided in the photos. Has lots of tight squeezes.

This place is great! I should have taken a better car. I just brought a small 97 Mercury Sable, and we scraped several times on the way up to the cave. Its about a 30 min hike to the cave. The cave has a very muddy entrance, but there are ropes to help you. I am a bigger guy, and there were several very tight squeezes. Two at the beginning, one near the end of the snot lair fork, and I could not get through the newt slither on the donut room fork. Lots of beautiful flow stone!

Lot of fun; there is a fork in the trail that overlooks the mountain vista that will either take you to the cave (left path) or to a far away campsite (right path. I missed the fork and ended up miles away at the campsite near the cliffs (still a cool view, though)

Excellent cave for a first serious caving experience! No repelling and the tight space doesnt go on forever. That being said if someone is claustrophobic they are going to have a tough time at the end of the second room going across the saddle. If you havent been before its best to go down the saddle backwards on your belly with one leg over the right part. Its probably about two fifths of a mile inside and there are a good number of formations. (Cave straws and some bacon) Headlamps are preferred over flashlights and going in July ensures the cave is drier. If you go in June you might need to dig out the entrance.

It is a cool cave that goes farther the I expected. Know that there are some tight spots and it gets cold. I would bring gloves at least to fight the wet and cold.

Abit hard to find in the snow and the road to get up there is rough, but the cave itself is fantastic and thrilling. Its not for beginners, the first part has a tunnel that is extremely hard to get down and up and the first 50 feet or so is a crawl on your belly.

Fun, but a very difficult cave to maneuver through for bigger people. I would suggest only taking people who are in shape and willing to squeeze a little. It is a fun cave and opens up nice and big as you get towards the end. As you get to the end there is a book. Make sure to write you’re names in it and leave a little note!
