Incredible disc golf course. Beautiful terrain, reasonable challenges, intimidating water. Its a wonderful walk and fun place to play.

Very well manicured course. Good variety of tight and technical holes along with long and open holes. The pro shop is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need and its also well staffed with very helpful and welcoming people.

Best park in Will County. It even beats the park in suburban Cook County at 107th & Cicero Ave., Oak Lawn, Illinois. Its better than anything in any of the collar counties. Its very well-rounded and complete. Indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, weights, aerobics, tennis,... Outdoor tennis, playing fields, playground equipment, woods, sight seeing, (creek), wildlife, bicycle/ walking path with elaborate block-long bridges through flagstone tunnels, tiny museums, restaurants,...

Best disc golf course in Illinois. The pro shop is great. Great course to walk with the kids. Check the calendar for any tournaments.

Dellwood is a beautiful park. It looked has plenty of amenities from bathrooms to playgrounds to a challenging disc golf course to many trails. Its clean and well maintained too.Maybe the only downside is that its always busy. We went on a day the temperature was 90 and rain clouds were on the horizon and there were still plenty of people out enjoying the park. That being said, Ive never had an unfriendly encounter there.

It is spacious and lots of options for different activities. We went during a frisbee golf tournament, so the green space you could be in was limited. Be sure to check the calendar.

Dellwood is always fun. I shoot a lot of photos around the old dams year-round. In the summer, the gazebo and grounds are fun. Year-round disc-golf (Frisbee) . Lots of places for photos. Summer has WWII reenactments and more.

Dilworth Park is a beautiful place the whole family gatherings outside. Theres two large playgrounds for children. Also if youre a photographer is a hidden gem.

A magnificent park with lots of space, wonderfully wooded areas to walk, and great facilities. I was there for the World War II Days, which couldnt have been better because of all of the great areas they could take advantage of.

The best disc golf course in the near West/south suburbs. Well worth the drive.Elevation changes, stream runs through most of the course, bridges and landmarks all perfectly incorporated into the well tended course.

Very well maintained with several pavilions, gazebos, and amphitheaters. There are paved bike paths and beautiful bridges throughout the park. A stream with limestone rocks and canyons set this park apart from other local public places. It also has the best Disc Golf course. The people are very friendly, youth groups and summer camps are often there, the grounds keepers are also very helpful. It is clean and safe and becoming one of the highlights of Lockport. Please keep up the good work. Thank you

Disc Golf -- Located in Lockport, IL, The Canyons @ Dellwood is one of the best Disc Golf courses around. Has a good mix of technical and open shots. The crew with the Greater Joliet Disc Golf Association dedicates a lot of time and effort to keep the course playable and in great shape. Also, there is a Pro Shop that opened this year next to the parking lot by hole 1.The park itself has numerous pavilions, trails, activity, and sport areas. Highly recommend heading out to Dellwood for a round of Disc Golf or just walking the trails enjoying the beauty of this park.

Wish the trails were longer and the park was cleaner. I like that they’ve turned it into a frisbee golf park but it makes us hikers have to keep an eye out for flying frisbees.

Had a wonderful time while babysitting granddaughter. New park with jungle gym was wonderful. Kept her busy as we talked and kept an eye on her.We also walked our 10 pound dog there. Yes I did have plastic bag to pick up if necessary.We had a nice walk, was quiet and shade with picnic tables. Park district should get an at a boy for the a great park.Great for bikers also.

The golf course is great very challenging, 27 hole, had a disc golf store there near the parking lot. There a spot where u can sit more like a small romantic spot with flower and a bench, it look perfect for a photo picture, overall a nice park where also can have a picnic in one of the area there, 5 star to me.

Solid park, but I miss the time when it wasnt littered with disc golfers. Not that I have anything against disc golfers; its just that you used to be able to find solitude in the park. If you like disc golf though, it seems like a pretty good course.

I adore Dellwood. When we lived in Lockport, we would visit regularly. Its a large, beautiful park with thorns for everyone: multiple playgrounds of varying sizes, BBQ grills and picnic tables, large grassy fields, frisbee golf, a quiet pavilion and flower garden, a river and beautiful bridges, and even access to a beautiful section of local train tracks! I live Darkseid, and I visit every time Im back in the area.

A lovely park to walk, frolf or hang out. It can get pretty muddy and you have to watch out for disks of your just hanging out.

Being a senior, this place is awesome. It has many activities to attend and staff and facilities are great.

Need to explore it more but first impressions were that there was not much shade or parking

Used to participate in the re-enactments here for 20 years. Love this park, have many great memories of this place. Great car show here today. Was fun to participate with my 29 Ford.

Great park. Lots to do. My boys love the skatepark. There are rails to grind and ramps.There are always friendly skaters there and everyone gets along well and gives each other tips. There were little kids to adults there and everyone was having fun. Its not just for skateboards either. Kids were on skooters, skates and boards

This park has hands down the best disc golf park in the area. Over 27 holes, including bonus holes, wide open fields, sharp banking holes in the woods, and a Pro Shop opening next month! I would recommend this park to anyone looking for a great day out, pros or complete newcomers to the sport.

Great disc golf course. If traveling this is a must stop course. Good mix of wooded holes, and open bomb shots. Be careful though, most obs are tall grass making finding your disc well next to impossible. Loved the course though.

One of the best parks in the area,always a lot of outdoors here. Multiple parks, trails and gazebos. Great place to rent out for a kids birthday party, this has plenty of space for a big sized party.But, one of the best features is the disc golf course here which is second to none in the area. 27 challenging holes, nearly all with longer teepads. Plenty of signage to help guide you to the next hole as you progress. Theres a map up near the pro shop as well if needed.Speaking of the pro shop, they have a big selection of the well known manufacturers to choose from, and they are constantly ordering new and special discs. Sean Callahan helps run the store and the course, and he is such a great ambassador for the sport and the surrounding courses in the area.If you have not played this course, do yourself a favor and go!
