Day Road Park

Great playground with lots of slides and stuff to climb on. Nice paths to take a walk through nature. Looked like there was some soccer and softball fields.

Nice playground and path and bathrooms were open and clean. The only issue I have is not one of the tables ever seems to be in the shade during morning to mid afternoon when you need it most. There are some big beautiful trees but you cant sit under them unless bringing your own chairs. Large playground with smaller area for littler kids too.

Nice well kept park with playground for all ages walking trail, pavilion and open field space with soccer nets, also has a Santa House for pictures open seasonally, line to wait is outside

Really nice soccer fields to play on with bleachers. Could use a little shade on the sidelines but is well maintained and clean everytime we go.

We love this park. Great walking path that is clean. The playground is large and adaptible for special needs. Very family friendly.

Needs a fall clean up in the middle of summer.

Its a nice peaceful park, great for walking dogs. They provide dog bag and trash areas to clean up after your four-legged companion.Theres a nice little playground area for children to play at and enjoy. During Christmas Season, they have a Santa Claus house where your children can meet Santa.The park also has two Pokemon Gyms and quite a few Pokestops for those who play Pokemon Go.

Clean, Beautiful little park. Has soccer fields, public facilities, childrens playground. Special events building. Hiking trails. Nearby restaurant and ice cream shop. Also model airfield and golf course nearby.

Our kid loves coming to this park in the summer time. We stop out a few times a month.

My two daughter age 4 and 6 absolutely love going to this park in the spring and summer . Always clean and lots of room for animals . Or jogging . In the winter time the Santas house is a excellent idea when you dont wanna pay 60$ at the mall for a picture with Santa . You get to take all the pics you want and they are absolutely amazeing with the kids . My daughter was scared at first and left with a huge smile this is a great thing in the community hope it stays around for years to come . Thank you

This is fun for all ages from toddler to teenager but like all the other parts in the area there is no bathroom.... Really not very handy but I will say there is a public rest room at the Tops on the corner of Rochester Rd and 31 which is only a minute drive away going in a Northeast direction. However this rest room is not always in the greatest condition but if an emergency arises its available... And we all know it does when at the playground with children.

Clean park. Children activities. Walk or run the paths. Exercise walk the dog. Whats not to like?Clean well kept Bathrooms and even a pet drinking fountain.

Cute park for kids 10 and under. Bathrooms are clean. In the summer the playground can get very hot because there are no trees covering the playground which is why I only gave the park 4 stars. There is no food on the premise but plenty of picnic tables. They are building a new hot dog stand across the road though.

A great park, central in location for city and town families. Well maintained with restrooms, picnic tables and Santa’s cottage brightening the landscape. New across the street is a place to get a bite to eat with the family.

Its a nice park they keep it cleanded up and have some amazing trails you can walk or ride your bike around. And its dog friendly

I love this park for my toddler. Ample parking. Restroom facilities. Large playground for older kids and a separate large playground for younger children! Plenty of grass space to run around in.

Excellent park for the little ones. Plenty of open space and a nice walking path. Great for a day out or a picnic. There is always other kids for your kids to play with. Plus an r/c airplane run way and flight park.

Love the set up.You place your order at one window,pick up at next window then go through a door to the condiments which are indoors and then out another door to eating area.Nice ! A great outdoor atmosphere for a summertime burger joint.

Very nice park. Great play ground for the kids. Most dog walkers are good about cleaning up after their dogs but there are some that DO NOT. They supply poop mitts and cans to dispose it in 4 different areas. Please pick it up and keep the park nice.

Very nice for a walk with your dog, make sure it’s on a leash though. Lots of wild life sightings.

Wow I wish this park was closer to me my kids really loved it

Great park to take your family to have a picnic, walk the trials, play at the park, or fly your radio controlled plans.My only complaint is Day Road is in terrible shape as well as East High Street. They really need to be resurfaced. They are so bumpy and hostile to you car. Very rough ride for sure. The roads in that bad of condition could be a hazard for children going to the park and parents.But the park itself is great and is in a very nice area.

Nice that it has 2 separate play areas one for big kids and one for little kids. Also its an open area not right next to woods.

Day Road park is a fantastic place to bring children to play. The park is alway filled with children of all ages. The walking trail is not too long and good for a quick walk.The playground for the older children could use some fresh wood chips(especially under the swings and at the base of the slides)or replced with the same sponge like material on the toddlers side.A few of the activities on the toddlers side are broken as well as one of the climbing chains under the slide for the older kids.A few of the tables for adults to sit have a lot of water that accumulates under them and it gets very muddy. A few of the benches have a forward lean to them.The Park Side restaurant is opening soon and those at the park can get a bite to eat across the street.This would be a great place to spend the day playing despite the needed repairs.

This is a very nice park. A playground for the kids, a couple of soccer fields and a place to fly RC planes. There are well maintained traces for walking alone or with Fido. The bathrooms are some of the best maintained public restrooms youll find.

I taught my kids how to ride their bikes along the trails at this park. Great Santa Village during Christmas time.

Day road park is the goto park for my family. For the most part there are decent children who know the rules and everyone gets along. With lots of room this is the only Park I feel comfortable bringing my childs Power Wheels. In the summer we bring a portable grill and have a nice day at the park.

Best playground in the area for toddlers! There are three different playsets and one of them has few steps, lots of ramps and low to the ground climbing stuff. All four of my kids love it, from 9 yrs to 18 months. The bathrooms are clean and pleasant (!) and there is a walking path where people walk their dogs, which my kids ADORE. My go-to playground.

Cute park for the little ones

This is our favorite park in the area. For the most part, the playground, nature walk and bathrooms are always clean and kept up. However, last time we were there I did notice a few things on the playground that needed repairs.

Amazing play structures!

Such a great park! New equipment, clean and AMAZING BATHROOMS! There is a play set for big kids and nice one for the little ones. They even have nice trash can and recycling cans. There is a walking/running track around the park and a large amount parking. Bonus: there is a Tim Hortons about 2 miles down the road so you can coffee up before letting the kids burn of that energy. My buddy told me there is a radio controlled plane club that frequents the park. Kids want to see them fly someday.

Soccer fields need work

You need rain boots for a couple of days after the rain.

Its the best park in Lockport! There are plenty of places for caregivers to sit while big kids play on the big equipment and theres also a mini park for little kids. Theres even swing for kids with disabilities! Theres a walking/ biking path nearby, and plenty of room to park. This park even has a restroom building, a gazebo to get out of the sun, and a soccer field next door. Its a great place to walk your dog. Dont forget about Santas Village right there too!
