This is, hands down, my sons favorite place on Earth aside of his bedroom! We have the family pass and go often, and the staff are like the cousins we never had. Always asking how we are, making sure we know about any new displays, and just all around super nice folks. The kids have named many of the dinosaurs, and love going time and again!

Outstanding museum. So much great information. The kids loved it and had a great time, especially in the couple of play areas that are designed to teach while playing. Three only reason I didnt give it five stars is that it is pretty expensive. Its $20 per adult and $17 per kid 3 and older. I have five kids, so it cost $125. Thats not too far off from the cost of an annual pass, but I dont think wed go back again.

More especially for the kids but much for the avid adult adventurer as well.Wheel chair accessible for 99.9% of things and great effects and visually stunning dinos.Well be coming back again for sure.

Such a great place for families and students of paleontology! I came in with the same glee that I did as a kid walking in here for the first time! The grounds are wonderfully set up, the displays have great explanations for the titans that ruled the world before we did, and there are plenty of games and gifts for kids and adults alike here!I highly recommend it here! 10/10 in my book!

We were able to come to this museum on the $2 day in August and it was great. I do think the price they ask originally is a little high. If the COVID 19 wasnt an issue there would have been more for kids to do. But it was still a lot of fun and the dinosaurs and prehistoric animals they had on display were really well done

Better for older kids, very informative and interesting if you can read and understand the information. My 3yo loves the skeletons, the space room and the river. The sand dig is also a big hit, so were glad that it is open again. You have to have a reservation to come so make sure you book in advance because tickets sell out. But they do a great job keeping everything clean and not too busy that is hard to stay spaced from others. Masks are required.

After however many years this has been open, finally made it here on a two-dollar Tuesday in August by appointment to help with COVID. It was awesome! Lots to learn and look at! Kinda expensive at regular admission, so glad we got the discount. And one great part was speaking with a wandering docent. Got some good insight into the museum and more about the paleontology that goes on here.

A great place to explore ancient creatures with the whole family! The exhibits are really laid out in an organized way. Replicas of ancient creatures and dinosaur skeletons all over the place. Murals, a scientific lab, a water erosion table for kids to play in, and lifesize skeletons make it fascinating. Hidden gnomes also keep you guessing, though we never found them at all.

This is a great museum and content wise I have qualms. My biggest and potentially only warning is that it is expensive. It is double the price of most museums I have visited and while its a great museum it may not feel worth it, especially for younger children as there are less interactive things to do. For those a bit older, there is tons of information and cool fossils to learn about. We had a great time when we went but it was three adults in my party.

Thank goodness they still have the erosion room open!! I have three toddlers and they live walking around the dinosaur museum, and while theyre are lots of good steps taken here to help prevent spreading germs, its not over the top. Touch exhibits are covered and they have closed the sand digging area at the end, but the erosion room with the water and toy dinosaurs has a dedicated employee cleaning up constantly. They also have a number limit of how many kids can be there and sectioned areas for playing to maintain social distancing. Just a fun museum, plenty to do, at least for toddlers.

For what it is, its ok. There are better alternatives in Utah, and for the love of all things decent, NEVER buy your tickets online for this part of Thanksgiving Point - this was the FIFTH time theyve lost my ticket reservation and I had to prove I wasnt lying. The rest of Thanksgiving Point is great, but the Museum of Ancient Life is poor at best.

A great place to visit except for the fact that they have a few koi that are very sick and obviously have bacterial and fungal infections. Many are incredibly skinny and lethargic. They are small koi but only in about 2 to 3 inches of water. Their dorsal fins are out of the water and dry. For the fact that they only have a few live animals here and cant even take care of them is really sad. I spoke with an employee and after I mentioned the fish they became hostile and aggressive saying that they follow all the guidelines for the fish care. Really disappointed

Very fun place to take the family. Clean and well maintained. Very clean bathrooms. My kids were fully engaged the whole time we were there. The first room they are adding on was all about earthquakes and I cant wait till it is finished. I ran out of fuel before they did. There is a place to eat after, and the gift shop had fun toys. The staff was friendly and engaging. Parking was difficult, but maybe that was just because it was a Saturday. I would definitely recommend you check it out!

A lot of attention to little details in the foreground and background of sets. There’s nothing like seeing the bones of large dinosaurs to make a stoic adult turn into a big ol child full of wonder. The collection here is incredibly vast and each individual exhibit is so well put together. There are definitely a few kid targeted areas but overall, I found the price was well worth it for me as an adult with no kids! I think my husband and I spent at least two hours in here ooohing and ahhing at everything. There’s also a pitch black room with teeny tiny lights to simulate the vastness of space which I enjoyed. A great museum for sure!

We absolutely love going to the dinosaur museum! The kids never Tire of it. So many fun things to go and see and do. The discovery room is always tons of fun, and ever-changing. We love going and seeing the different Hands-On experiences that they have in there. Walking through the museum is always fun, as you go through you start with the creation of the world and the first forms of life on Earth. Its really fascinating to walk through the star tunnel and see the very first life forms. As you progress through the museum and get to the age of the dinosaurs and see their vast skeletons towering above you oh, it is truly a unique experience. My kids also love the water and sand table, and the fossil pit at the end. Tons of fun! worth the money & every minute.

This is a large and quiet museum, great for indoor entertainment and learning. There an area at the beginning with changing activities and displays, but most of the museum remains the same throughout the year(s). Overrated for all the hype. After already visiting their Museum of Natural Curiosity I would have expected something a little more than what it was.Heard about it for years and seemed to have much hype about how great it was.The lay out is designed with not a user friendly flow and requires back tracking. We realized that after noticed some exhibits from the second floor and expected to be routed back to it but found the exit instead. So much replicas and man made items with very low quality. Especially those in the water area. Seemed more like I was shopping for fake plastic items for my fish aquarium. Wish it was more life like. And not nearly as hands on exhibits as we hoped for.And the nature movies for members was $6. That seems pricey for a nature movie and ridiculous for a member price. If attendance would have been out of pocket instead of the membership, would have felt it was a waste of funds. Especially for it taking maybe an hour.

I think this museum is very interesting, but they removed the exhibit where you could open drawers to see more fossils and rocks. Kids need more interactive exhibits where they learn, not just playing in the sand. Also the loud dinosaur sounds throughout scared my smaller child. I appreciate what they are trying to do, but I think they need more opportunities for interaction among children. The hands on stuff is kind of hidden away or semi irrelevant. That being said I have been 2-3 times in the past year because it is something interesting to do. Be sure to go on a weekend of a holiday if you want to do a Jr. Paleontologist program. A solid hour of our time was just the erosion table. beautifully curated, with great ambiance. Really nice exhibits in regards to both their setup and informational value. Great expierence! Most of the dinosaur skeletons were put into a mold and remade for each bone to prevent damage to the actual bones. Great walk thru of exhibits, could take 1-5 hrs. OVERVIEW - 4.0Came here as a spur of the moment thought. Wed seen the displays a few weeks ago, when we saw a movie at the Mammoth Screen from the Megaplex Movie Theater next store.LOCATION - 3Easily seen from the freeway, but can be a little complicated to get to without the insight of a local or Google Maps.PRICE - 2I honestly did not care for the price, and in fact I think this was the only negative part of our visit. Each adult is $15 and per child is $8. So with tax in the end we paid $42 for three. They have all kinds of special prices for this and that, season passes and whatnot, all way overpriced. I was told Tuesdays in August it is only $2 per person. Well come back then.PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5The fossils and displays were set up amazingly. My daughter was thoroughly entertained, which is saying quite a bit, as she has such a short attention span. I would have liked to spend more time reading about each of the artifacts, but I guess in August I will take more time.POINTERS/PERKS - 5Come in August on a Tuesday when it is $2 per person, unless you want to make some financial sacrifices. They have several interactive activities for children, which is great!EMPLOYEES - 5The employees were so friendly and patient with our several questions at the front desk.
