The butterfly biosphere is one of my favorite places to take my kids. The real life bugs, arachnids, and amphibians are always fun for the kids to look at. The biosphere is a great place to interact with nature and the animals. Theyre is also a lot of exploring to do in the large multi level playground. Great place to take your family!

Great place to take a day trip with the family. There is so much to see and do here that you could go each day of the week and not rush and enjoy, but all possible in a day if you want to do everything. Bathrooms are always clean, air conditioning is on high all summer to make it more enjoyable from the outdoor heat, and there is plenty of parking around the facilities. ️ Our favorite is the butterfly biosphere

Ive been a big fan of Thanksgiving Point for years. The tulip festival is gorgeous in the spring! The car show was my favorite to go to out of the other car shows in the area. The Museum of Ansient Life is fun for both kids and adults. I used to go there way before I had kids and I was excited to bring my boys there for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago. Also the Museum of Natural Curiosity is fun. The deli has delicious food and even tastier ice cream. We enjoyed our trip and will be coming back.

Dear Board Members,Your reputable establishment is once again advertising on a billboard located at 1800 South in Orem, Utah. It is our opinion this billboard is unnecessarily tall and bright, with very intense lights that are designed to project, flash and light the night sky. Due to those features; and its close proximity to residential areas and a historical city park, we feel this billboard is environmentally insensitive and invasive in nature. We respect your right to advertise your wonderful story telling festival - but with so many advertising opportunities for billboard advertising in Utah County, would you consider moving your advertising to non-residential areas? With that move, your advertising is sure to be met with a favorable response, rather than the unfavorable one we feel is being generated towards your organization, based on the negative impact your advertising is having on the many residents and park visitors in this part of Provo/Orem.Lakeview, Grandview and Lakeshore Residents - lakeviewresidents1@gmail.comaffiliated with Dark Sky Community, Scenic Byway Advocates and Scenic Utah

To think this place used to be a swamp blows my mind. The gardens are so well taken care of. Theres so many flowers and a man made waterfall that just is so perfect. This place is a secret to me. You can chill out and read a book by some shade during the afternoon and come back in the night and enjoy a film with your friends.Luminaria is another story. Its the most incredible light festival youll ever see. Make sure to stop in the greenhouse to check out the extremely detailed gingerbread houses. Get yourself some good hot chocolate. Its so cool, words cant express it. Thanksgiving point does have a lot of Christain landmarks to it and it definitely has its own theme going. Im not into it but it was still so well put together it honestly didnt bother me.And then the Tulips Festival. Its just so beautiful and you cant take enough pictures. Theres honestly so much to do there and so much light coming from one place that essentially resurrected its circumstances and is now one of the most beautiful gardens in the world. Its not pricey either.

Thanksgiving point is still a worthwhile destination, though its lost some of the charm it had ten years ago. The left side of the complex has a sit down restaurant called Harvest($$) and a Deli/Ice Cream Shop. The right side has been converted into the Butterfly biosphere. There is handicap parking, wheelchair entrances, and public restrooms. The mini gardens behind the complex are also worth looking at though the true gardens are somewhat removed from the complex. There are numerous museums attached to Thanksgiving point: Museum of Ancient Life boasting some impressive dinosaur fossils, Cornbellys corn maze, Museum of Natural Curiosity and Gardens.

Such an awesome place! Its worth making a day trip or a drive out to Lehi (or stop in your way through town) to visit the awesome venues here. Theres a dinosaur museum (Museum of Ancient Life), a childrens museum (Curiosity), Farm Country (where you can see and pet farm animals, ride a pony and a hay ride), the amazing Ashton Gardens with huge waterfalls, a koi pond and bunch of cool mini-gardens within, and the Butterfly Biosphere, where you can actually walk into a giant open area with butterflies from all over the world flying around. There are also restaurants and a movie theater and hotels right there, but Thanksgiving Point itself is a huge non-profit and survives with the support of the community. Its a fantastic place. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Rent a golf cart if you do the gardens. Its fun with the kids and theyll think youre the coolest parent in the entire world.3. Butterfly Biosphere. You arent SUPPOSED to touch the butterflied but rule only works to your benefit if one actually finds a perch on you. Theyre huge.4. Labor day Luau.
