I recommend this park for several reasons. This is a wonderful place for all family members.The soccer field is great.. I love the exercise area! The trail is great for a brisk walk and a play area for the kids. Lastly it has a great view to watch the sunset!

We love to go here. My adult children and their kids meet-up with us here to let the kids run and play while the adults get some walking and exercise. The artificial turf is very nice. There is a pretty challenging walking path around the perimeter with some hills. It is safe and well lit with plenty of light. Just good family fun

I really like this pool. Its not the best in terms of things to do. Its just a pool and diving board. But the people who go here are nice and the lifeguards are attentive. They follow procedures very very well.

Cool park. Our group used it to distribute I support the Leander police signs.

The kids always have a blast here. It has a playground and a splash pad. They’re always bringing their bug catchers and seeing what they can find, there’s a little “creek” that runs between the splash pad and playground so they sometimes find frogs. Good spot for birthdays.

Pretty good water pad. Free and had plenty of features to keep kids busy. Tables with shade to sit at too. Good size, not too big but not too small either. Would recommend. Kids 10 and under would probably have the most fun.

We love this park! It has a place to workout, which is our favorite, walking trails, a hill to hike or run up and down. There is a bathroom, drinking fountains I hope that work. The main thing people do here is sporting events and the concessions kinda saved me when we forgot water and snacks. Its very family friendly here.

Great park, upgraded soccer/football field. Pool open till 7pm weekends and splash pad open till 8pm. They host CG boot camps in park lot every morning...

We love going here. Its set up for walking the trails. And there is a fitness center there too! We play Pokemon Go here as well. People have all been very nice every time we go to this park. Sometimes its overcrowded with sports events though, but youll know as you drive near it if theres cars everywhere, even on the grass.

Clean, not crowded, lots of parking, sunny but theres a lot of shade under the gazebo or under the trees. It was a nice warm but breezy day

This park has everything from swings to basketball court to a community swimming pool! My 9 year old and 1 year old love this place! Love the new soccer field!

Fun park for my 9yr old & 2yr old.Pros: Love that the splash pad is free; The pool isn’t free, yet still fun; They host a few events throughout the year such as movie nights & Easter egg hunts; They have basketball goals, soccer fields, a trail that circles the whole park, & you can catch baby frogs in the creek; I love that they dedicated a LEGO bench to a child that has passed away.Cons: Being such a popular park for the city it would be great if they put up a cover, so the park wouldn’t get so hot; The playground goes pretty high up, so it would be cool if they had a small playground area for toddlers; It would be nice if Leander residents got into the pool for free or at a discounted price.

Nice place for young kids.

This is a very nice park thats convenient to my house. I have never used the pool or the splash pad. I do participate in a group exercise class that meets there, and sometimes I walk on the walking path. I will say that the bathrooms are always spotless -- Im there mid-morning when the park isnt crowded, though. The overall park facilities are always kept nice and clean, and the grass is mowed. Good job, City of Leander!

Clean fun park... great for the family.

Park was great weather perfect for a bday party. Only complaint is you rent the gazebo but the bathrooms are closed over the weekends. Hard to have a potty training child hold it home.

Beautiful and have all I need to workout

My first time here. I went there for a small car show with friends. They area was well maintained and clean. The event was really cool too. The amphitheater was a great touch because they had a live band playing the whole time. The bathrooms could be a little more private for the ladies. My friends wife commented there were no doors on the stalls. Overall a nice place to do a picnic or enjoy the playscape.

Beautiful artificial turf field. Well maintained with plenty of room to watch games from a canopy on the sidelines.

My son plays basketball here-pick up games. He loves it and its close to the house.

Great park with a combination of splash pads, trails, workout stations, soccer fields, playground and a pool.

Its a nice quiet place to enjoy nature. Some possible animals you can spot on the trail are nutria birds of all types. Fish and turtles off the bridge on South.

I love the splash pad here. Perfect for little ones ages 2-10 - I would say. Could use a few more benches as there are only 4-5. Be prepared to share benches. Hehe

My twins loved this place! Fe ced in. Tables. Restrooms close by. The ground is soft so when they fell i didnt have a heart attack PLUS NO BLOOD

This park is great! Its got a small walking/jogging trail around it, splash pad, basketball court, soccer fields, and this fitness area all free to use. There is also a pool here but not sure if its free as I dont swim here.

This is a great park for all ages. They have a wonderful playground, a free really cool fitness court & a free splash pad along with hills to walk & great sports fields.

My kids love this park! It could have something more for the really small children besides a swing, and you really have to watch that your kids dont get over in the Creek area after the rain. But I still gave it a five-star because it has a splash pad which is awesome!

A very nice smallish park. Outdoor swimming pool, playground for little kids, $1.6 million artificial turf field, a small stage for summer movies/concerts, a nice hill to walk/run up and down, basketball courts and walking trails. We live close so it is convenient. They also have a free splash pad for younger children. You have to pay a few bucks at the pool, which has a diving board and lifeguards.

The splash pad is awesome. Very recently refurbished. The park is nice and open with a small wet weather stream running through it. The only thing its missing is shade over the playground equipment.

It was cute for the kids, needs more seating, parents and elderly had to sit on the grass because the tables were packed with kids and adults

Was really fun playing on the turf fields! Called ahead to see how long the lights were on, they said 10 but got cut off early

Love that it is free and the kids just love playing in the water. Most everyone is very friendly, so when kids are kids, they understand. Everyone helps keep an eye on all the kids, so thats nice. Super friendly and inviting environment.

The turfed soccer fields are amazing. Although now my son is used to them and complains when he has to play soccer else where! Lol

Great park with alot of activities. They got greedy with the rec center by charging people $15 per entrance for a basketball court. Its alot of money especially for someone who goes frequently.

If you wish to run around the new artifical turf field when soccer is not being played, 1 lap is 1/3 miles thus 3 laps is 1 mile.If you wish climb the big hill, it is 33 vertical feet up from the field.If you wish to climb the small hill, it is 19 vertical feet from the field.If you wish to swing on the adult swing, bring gloves as the chains are tough on the hands.After a good rain, water flows through the park on the north end until the Vista Ridge water holding pond is empty as a pump slowly drops the holding pond through the park. Kids enjoy playing in the water.With a large childrens play area, nice picnic areas, kids splash area, swimming pool, parking lots on each side of the park, basketball area, and two restrooms besides the new almost 2 million dollar artificial turf 2 large soccer fields and 8 smaller practice fields this is a great park that I use almost daily. Enjoy!
