Awesome place to take the kids! We stayed at the bungalows so we got VIP waterpark access.You can go down to the private beach to wait for the water park to open then once in have a blast!!They have a restaurant that serves good drinks at a great price. Theres a little store down at the docks.Lots of shade & places to sit if you get there early.Overall Im very satisfied. Well be back!!

The water park was nice and the beach front was also nice. I only have a couple of recommendation on the beach front, maybe put more long chairs and umbrellas for guess to use when sun bathing. Also have like tiki store in the beach for water shoes and such.Other then that, this place is amazing, love lake Travis and the whole atmosphere!!Just beautiful!!Overall rating 5/5

We enjoyed the park, it is nice to have a spot where you can tan and swim near Austin! The slides are cool and the beer is cold. It is definitely worth coming here..My only critique is that the beach could be a bit cleaner. There was some stuff around the beach chairs that could easily be picked up.

Great family Waterpark! A must see, go, fun times! Multiple pool areas, slides, restaurant, beach area. Plenty of seating around. $12.99 all day is a bargain

The staff was super nice. The young lady at the front counter was informative and polite to us. I love how y’all stop everything to clean it throughout the day. The picnic area was open and have cover over it. My 21 month old daughter had fun in all parts of the park minus the slide because she wasn’t tall enough. And on our way out the staff was super nice and said thanking you for spending your day with us. Will recommend and will go back again!

Could be cleaner and better.Our visit started out well ans gradually declined. Chairs are not spaced to accommodate social distancing and people are all over you. Pool has a volleyball net that should be taken down with too many people. Kept getting hit with the ball.Tried to move to beach, but not enough chairs or umbrellas..nowhere to get away from sun into shade.Went to bathroom and found blood on seat. Gross. Also out of paper towels.Drinks are good and bar isnt too crowded.

Beautiful area, very family friendly. Love that fact that its different and uses the water from lake Travis. Water is clean and very comfortable temperature. LOVE the pool volleyball also!

I will say that the hours do not match the fact that they open at 4 now. We got there at 11. We spend the rest of the day at the lake till 4. I know we weren’t the only ones with that issue.The maintenance guy was using a leaf blower for a few hours blowing it on to people not respecting space. I also noticed he blew everything but the empty pools that had sand and leaves in it but he did enjoy blowing it to me.It’s a small cute place.The lady at the bar was taking orders, waitressing, and helping the customers all on her own. She was the best part because she was always nice and helpful and responsive. I literally did not see anyone else that was working there except her and the life guards. Until the end of the day some guy said “ thanks for coming “ and that was it.

Bring your own cooker instead of waiting 70 minutes for lunch. Food was good, service was good but cook SLOW. Fun place to enjoy a day. Excellent prices.

I took my kids on a Tuesday afternoon and wasnt quite sure what to expect - even after viewing the photos on the website. I have to say, we were blown away! The property itself is beautiful and full of lush greenery and trees. There are plenty of places to eat, drink and relax. My kids are a little bit older, but I was really impressed with the Pirate Ship area for the littles. Considering we are under Covid protocols, I have to say, the park was definitely NOT overcrowded and social distancing was very easy. The Slides - Oh my goodness! My kids didnt want to stop! A big huge kudos to Marco for going down the Sidewinder with my daughter when her brother bailed out at the top of the ride. He totally went above and beyond and didnt have to do that. The kids just kept bouncing between the Road Runner slides and the Texas Twister while I opted to relax in the sun (they also managed to beg me into the sidewinder a few times - fun & scary!) We also went down to the private swimming area at the beach and were pretty much the only people down there. It was nice to get my feet in some sand. Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. While we didnt eat while we were there, the menu looks absolutely amazing and there is definitely something for everyone. I am looking forward to my next visit and highly recommend Volente Beach!

My family really enjoys coming to Volente Beach. Originally being from the coast, its great to have a beach area to spend time. The kids love the pools and we really appreciate the courtesy dock when we visit.

Staff and life guards are all extremely nice and helpful. Spent entire weekend there and enjoyed every second of it.

I can’t believe I didn’t know this place was here! My 10 year old girl and 12 year old boy had an absolute blast! What a perfect place to go with it being so hot. Safe, affordable and friendly! We will be be back.

The waterpark was decent but definitely small. The food at Beachside Billys was delicious but the service was not good. Our waitress didnt take notice of refills or come by to ask. It definitely was not worth the added tip of 15-20% to the already pricey meal. The beach is nothing like pictures on the website. There are no lounge chairs or umbrellas. The sand is filthy and the pool water is from the lake so youll swim across leaves, stink bugs, and an occasional dead frog. So be sure to wear water shoes.

Went to the Jaws on the water event and had fun. Lake was very low so everyone was crammed in there but thats not the resorts fault. The rides are mainly for kids and theres only a couple. Decent size pool but crowded. Friendly and helpful staff. Beer reasonably priced.

We went to watch Jaws on the water hosted by the Alamo drafthouse and the entire experience was amazing and fun

Beautiful scenary! I had lunch at the restaurant located on the property and the food was pretty good nothing over the top but did the job. Chairs and umbrellas by the beach/lake are first come first serve. The pools did look a little cloudy. They have tubes to rent & a few bars (maybe 3) that I saw. They also have volleyball nets and slides and picnic tables. Its a nice little laid back place on the water definitely worth it even if its just once.

Great day at the beach. Drinks by the pool. Special family outing.

If youre a family with small kids - definitely worth the visit. Recommend checking the pool water to make sure its been treated/cleaned before dipping your youngsters in the water.If youre an adult/group of adults looking to spend half the day or a full day - look elsewhere.Visited today. Parking was 7$ Got there later than intended (4 pm) and tickets were half price, which was great. Had food at the restaurant, which was ok - not necessarily bad but not super great either. Staff are super strict with the 5pm requirement to order from the dinner menu and wouldnt allow ordering from it at 4:37.The lake levels are down and the water is kind of stagnant and nasty in the cove where the park is located. The shoreline was waaay down away from the sandy beach.Didnt expect a big variety of rides - it is what it is. Personally, I wasnt happy with the value even at half price. But we were a group of adults. I saw many families there with small kids having a great time.Honestly, I would have given four stars if the pool water wasnt so nasty. It felt like plunging into a slimy, bug infested pond and didnt seem to have any treatment at all. Everyone felt nasty after getting out. After drying, my entire body had a film which could be scraped off with fingernails. Nasty.Staff all seemed to be super nice, which is a major plus. The patrons for the most part were rude and discourteous. Not that its the parks responsibility to manage the guests but just an observation. This observation had no bearing on this review.Overall I ended up spending about 2 hours at the park and left. Spent way more than what I felt I got value for but that was my choice to leave.Overall I think the park could use a bit of upkeep. I get the covid stuff going on right now but honestly, the park looked plenty busy. A little elbow grease could improve the presentation here immensely and the overall experience.

I loved the way you get the feel of the lake but the excitement of a water park. They could probably bring the price down but it wasnt too bad. Its good fun for the whole family.

The beach has sand missing from it. And the water slides are the same from 15 years ago. Not really great on upkeep. Better waterparks are Adventure Park off lake travis. Nice beach area and better overall experience.

Great place for a family day trip. 4 water slides, kids pool and family pool. Also has lake access and places to relax on the beach.

4th of July here is the best.

Great fun for both big and little kids. Small pool for toddlers and larger pool for bigger kids. Lots of shaded picnic tables too.

Rocky beach... I would say it’s pretty over priced for what you’re actually getting. The girl at the front was really nice though.

Watched jaws on the water there. What an awesome experience. The waterslides were so much fun, the atmosphere felt so laid back and coastal.

Although not many the rides were very enjoyable and the lines very short. The wait time was lengthy but the food was delicious overall, 4 stars

This was an experience to die for!! We came here for JAWS on the water and it did not disappoint at all. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the whole atmosphere was great. This was also an age restricted event so there was little to no interaction with children. The owner just bought the place and is making great strides in his efforts to revamp the place. He was super nice and thanked us many times for coming to his event. Definitely not to be missed!

Very nice little water park. Drinks were great, staff very nice. The bathroom was a trekk from the water. Not a deterrent tho. Definitely going back.

This was so nice and we all had a blast on the 3rd during the Fireworks show for the 4th July. We are planning to going back next year!

Most family friendly relaxing waterpark in the history of waterparks.

Went there for a company event, we and the kids enjoyed the slides, the jetskis, the buffet and bars. Personnel was friendly, especially for the jetskis. The wait at the bars was a little long but all in all we enjoyed a lot.

Good memories here. although, some of the slides hurt really bad.

The best water park in Central Texas cuz of the lake water, laid back staff, and no chlorine in the pool (lake water pumped in)

This place is awesome!! Luv the owners. Food perfect- they are so respectful of Covid crazy. Food was awesome- bacon wrapped shrimp and salad perfect. Omg- Margarita’s on the rocks with 512 blanco- YUMM

One of my kiddos favorite local places to go during the summer months.

The good is great and our waitress, Whitney, was great, too. Highly recommend! Only downside was the blond who needs a refresher course in customer service.

Nice weekend get away for the family

This is a nice place to spend an afternoon with family. There is a small pirates cove for the young children. In addition there are two water slides fitting for the teenage group. There is a beach area with inner tubes for all age groups. We happened to go on a day when it was adults until 9 pm. A live band performed. There is a restaurant with basic fast food service. Restroom facilities were adequate. The parking lot is nearby with shuttle service back to the water park. The parking fee is $7. Overall, it was a fun day with lots of good pictures.

Must go again beautiful fun place

Super fun and great if you have younger kids. We had a group of 7-10 yr olds and its a perfect size to let them swim and ride a couple of slides. Plenty of shady spots and drinks and food were very reasonably priced. I had a great impossible burger and some solid wings. Fun day without the stress of a bigger place.

If i could give their staff a -10 (Minus 10), i would. Poor Lifeguards, flirting with each other while they should be doing their job. I witnessed a kid almost dying and these Lifeguards with busy talking instead of throwing a tube to help the kid or jumping in to help. We are never coming back here

This was so cool. 1 of the water slides were really slow that is ok. The other three were the best. One of the coolest water parks I have been to. I still give it five stars because I had a blast. And it is really cool that there is a beach and it was an awesome experience. Especially with the twister that was awesome!

We originally came here 10 years ago and had a great time. We decided to come again now that our children are older. All I could say is we had a great time. We had dinner at the restaurant on site the food and service was great.

This was a very fun experience. Got a party boat for a work meeting spent five hours on the water and enjoyed every bit of it. The crew was awesome

Great location, decent food, cold beer but HORRIBLE service. We visited on a Sat afternoon. Restaurant was less than 50% full. Bartender was working her rear off and seemed to be only person in the place that knew what she was doing. There were servers but they didn’t really wait on tables. We had to place order at the bar for drinks and food, check back in with the bar to see if food was ready, ask for plates, utensils, get our own refills etc. Bartender did ask for servers to take care of us, but they never showed up. Bartender offered to help me carry drinks and food to our table if I could wait for her to take care of customer at the bar first. Tables were dirty. Sink in men’s bathroom didn’t work — luckily a customer knew how to fix the plumbing under the sink so their hands could be washed. Great location and should be a great place to hang out on a sunny day, just don’t expect much.

This was a place Ive wanted to go for a while so I was disappointed that the experience was so subpar. Almost everyone here just acted like they hated working there, and that you were a bother to them. When we first arrived, there was a nice lady who asked if we wanted a ride to the resort and we obliged. When we arrived at the gate, however things were different. My first experience was with the person we purchased the locker from. He was essentially trying to hurry us along even though we didnt know that he only accepted cash (meaning we had to go to a completely different location to pay with a card). We didnt mind going through the strange process but it was shown as if it were our fault for not knowing. We finally put everything in the lockers ($10), and next had to wait in line to grab food and drink tickets.Bear in mind, this isnt to buy the food. Just to get the wrist bands that served as currency. About 30 minutes later we made it to the front of the line. There, the sign said well drinks were $6 so we decided to get tickets for a couple of those. But it turned out the sign was wrong. They didnt have any wells. So the cheapest drinks were actually $8. Once again Im confused by the sign and am realizing this is not a place that is all that put together but thats fine. Except for the attitude! We were again treated like we were already supposed to know this.With our bands paid for were now ready to grab food. Theres what we believe to be a food place in the middle of the park (it even has posted the food options). So we wait ANOTHER 20 minutes for food. When we arrive at the front to place our orders, the guy tells us he doesnt serve food after 7. Now this is getting annoying but we try to calmly ask where do we get food then. But once again hes done with us. Instead telling the customer behind us to step forward.This plays out again and again. At the eventual food truck where we find out the food bands only pay for select foods (no one had said anything up to this point), in the line to get the rental tube (Move on! There are others to serve was the response when I asked a question about how something I receive worked), and even when grabbing our eventual drinks.The one good thing about the park was Jaws on the Water which was actually really fun (but this is run by Alamo, not the beach). The staff really needs to step its game up however. I really hope people dont come to Austin and think the experience here is what most Austin venues are like because this is by far the worst experience Ive had since being here. $45 entry + $7 parking + $10 locker fee + $12 food band fee is way too much to spend to be treated like you are a burden to them.EDIT: As you can see from the owner response below, customer service continues to be lacking. Ive only posted one review, and other reviews of customer service consistently mentions that they have a customer service problem. It sounds like they do not intend to change that. Finally, as I mentioned above, my issue is not with Jaws on the Water. That part was actually fun. It is with how the owner and his staff operate Volente Beach.

I recently had my gender reveal party at Beachside Billys and it was so great! The staff was super attentive and very accommodating to the 30+ people I had there! Also the food is just getting better and better!! Love coming here!

This is a good place to spend a day with the family. Nothing spectacular but it doesnt pretend to be either... I would definitely recommend it for a day of fun in the water.

Best 4th of July! So glad I have chosen this place. My boys loved it! Loads of memories, food was awesome, service outstanding, nice family friendly public! If I could give 6 stars it would be still not enough! So proud! God bless America!!

Great place my boys loved it. Oldest son is 5 and he is about 44-45 inches. He was able to go on all but 1 of the slides by himself. Just be ready for the steep hill down 50-60 yards to the beach if you are bringing lots of stuff.

Funny little Waterpark on lake travis. They have a kiddie pool, 3 water slides, big pool area and beach area. Food was pretty good too

Water rides barely contained water on them and were quite dirty. Food was okay, couldnt really enjoy because I was focused on swatting away flies (we ate INSIDE). Beach wasnt that crowded which was good cuz we found plenty of spots to relax. We went on a Thursday so not many noisy kids :) !! Look forward to coming back sometime to see Jaws on The Water !

Very nice place. Kids area, plenty of slides and larger pools. Beach area right off the park. The restaurant is quite convenient there as well with a full bar n music to listen to. All the staff are very friendly. Property is taken care of above n beyond, no trash or bugs. If you get the chance, stay in the bungalows across the street. So convenient, worth the $. Location is great. Can see the lake from the porch, first night saw a fox run 10 yds from the front of the bungalow!Will definitely come back here with and without kids! Fun place

Great spot to enjoy with friends

Lake water. Never crowded. Enough slides to keep kids busy. Beach access and great restaurant. Beers at reasonable price. Life guards everywhere. We always have a great time there.

It’s a nice place to just relax with the family. This place is very unique as it has 3 waterslides, a pool and “beach” access to the lake. The entrance fee to use the pool and beach only was $13. There was not a lot of people on Memorial Day so that was really nice as well. I recommend.

This is a very cool Boutique Water park. Its located on the lake and has 4 thrilling rides for all excitement levels. The park is located on the water with a beach on Lake Travis. Our family had a reunion here and it was good for the whole group. Had some in the sun enjoying their favorite cocktail and some in the numerous shade places enjoying theirs. Great food too. Nice Little gem in the Austin area.

The facility was really awesome and the staff went out of there way to accommodate the disabled clients. Hanger clinic had a customer appreciation day for amputees and staff were very helpful and accommodating to us. Thanks Volente waterpark staff and owner I recommend this waterpark to everyone. Good place to take the kids, or just yourself, and spend a few hours. Pool volleyball, beach volleyball, a few water slides, plenty of shade. Next door is Beachside Billys with great food and drinks. The pizza is great! Go for Jaws on the water!

Went with friends and had a really good time. Cool place do hang out and the slides were fun. Very good place to spend a weekend and have fun.

Gotta love Lake Travis! We had a wonderful time on the party barge and soaking up the sun. Gret for large get togethers or special events. So so so much fun!
