Calm, clean, and large open areas. Its a leash-required park for dogs but people are good about reining in their dogs when off leash so its a really good escape. Theres a playground for kids, and many benches to chill and observe nature

I took my son out here to go fishing, and much to our dismay the water was so low that we werent even able to get close enough to cast a line because there was so much thick mud keeping us from getting anywhere near water. The park itself is beautiful, but we were extremely disappointed. Nice place as long as you arent going with the expectations of fishing.

This park is decent. Probably the best part is that its quiet. But theres also not too much to do there. I guess its a great place to take a long walk and just reflect on life.

Never knew this park was here.Walked the loop. First park goes through a beautiful area of oaks on the way to the water. The next park goes throw a field like area and then through a treed area close to the roadway.I would recommend the treed area, there area benches there. There was also some people with binoculars birding.

Nice place for some casual fishing. Lots of mats, grass and cover for bass. A little walk from the parking lot gives access to an easy kayak launch. Recommend having some sort of wheels if you have a heavy yak.

Great park! Quiet location with lots of trees, off leash area for pets, walking trail, and stocked pond for fishing when the water levels are up. My wife and I recently took our hammocks and just relaxed under the trees for a bit. It was a perfect break from being indoors.

Its a great park, very pretty with lots of space and nature to enjoy. I just wish they would upgrade/add to the playground. Its pretty simple and basic. Just two slides and some monkey bars.

Its a cute and large area to go for walks, picnics, etc... with your pets. This park requires you to keep your pets on leashes, but no one complains if you dont. There is a kids play park there as well, and ducks often come to the shores to interact with people. Theres a wide variety of birds, trees, and park areas there for everyone to enjoy, and is large enough to play baseball, football, or land a paramotor like someone did this morning lol

The trail is nice but the lake in there looks pretty ugly, there are ducks and its surrounded by sand, but it could use some love to make it better.

Fa
Review №11

Very nice park, if you have a dog is a perfect and secure place to play fetch with him, but watch out for fishers they wish the lake were only for them, so the fish on the front of the lake and dogs swim and fetch in the back of the park, that’s kind of the non verbal agreement here. Ppl in general is nice and courteous. The lake is big enough to kayak or SUP but the parking is like 1/4 mile from the lake.

Great location just off 183 N near Leander. Well maintained with asphalt path winding amongst the grass and live oaks. Lots of shade and well located parking. We went there to get a better horizon view of comet Neowise.

Great little Park with wildlife and lots of trees. No swimming allowed. Fishing is allowed & plenty of space for picnicking. Great for kids and family! Bit of a hike from the parking lot, 40 to 50 yards, to the water and the playground. My five-year-old granddaughter loved it! We will definitely visit again.

We love feeding the ducks at the lake. Its a nice walk around the trail, but not good for dogs or strollers as they use Christmas tree shavings on the trail. At least they did last year. There is a playscape for kids and covered picnic tables.

The lake is full of debris, the bathroom facility is nasty. Leander really needs to put some actual effort into their parks.

Love the birding potential and the nature aspects of this park. I dont like the clearing that looks to be happening along the edge of the woods on the east side.. Love the little brushy creek that runs from the entrance to the park. A lot of money wasted mowing this place as they often mow just dirt.

I never knew this place existed until recently. The park is tucked away in a residential neighborhood off Baghdad Road. Its called Devine Lake Park but.... wouldnt really call it a lake, I think its more of a retention pond for storm water runoff and/or drainage, but I cant say that for sure. Anyway.. there is a trail you can walk, an open area for play and some wildlife to view. Overall a great find in the community.

Large park space with expansive area shaded by oak trees, but not many places to sit. There are only 8 ducks that you can feed (during winter, anyways). Be careful as there may be fish hooks in the water. Small play area with slides and monkey bars. No swings.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful area hidden in a neighborhood pocket, this park is a blessing. Ive been walking to it for years from Northcreek Ranch subdivision. Its a little over a mile, providing me great exercise and a perfect place as a destination stop. Always clean, especially the bathrooms. Ducks, egrets, squirrels and sometimes horses in the fenced area visit from a neighboring farm. Love this place, its a real asset to the Leander community.

A nice park. We went with our dogs to experience the off-leash park. As stated before we kept an eye on the dogs because of the snakes. We found the skin of a snake at the shores of the lake. In addition there was a sign just outside the park telling about the fact that the west nile virus was found in that area. Not a very inviting place with those snakes and viruses.
