Great place for activities but it is not well maintained. The water body is dirty, covered with algae and smells very bad. No wonder the birds were out of the water in this hot weather.

The park is great! The paths are similar to a choose your adventure game. You can walk along the paved paths, or through the woods; either way, its likely youll see plenty of wildlife and friendly people!

Very nice fields. There is a canopy over team and spectator area. Bit of a hike to get to spot a pot, as fields are spread out.

I was out there supporting my niece at her softball game with the Bowie Blue Jays 18u. I appreciated the bleachers with the canopies over top of them on those days, when the sun can be hot.

Very walkable, full of sidewalk and bike trails, deer, and unfortunately ticks. so stay on the trail, or check yourself after you are done.

This park is very nice. Many downed trees were promptly cut up and removed a few weeks ago by park services. They really put a lot of time into maintaining Fairland Park. I have had 2 constant issues at the park:1. people walking their dogs without a leash2. dogs crapping on the paths and the owners not cleaning up the poopI love pets, I almost hate bad pet owners!Fairland Park is awesome nonetheless. Come on out for a walk, softball, lacrosse, biking, etc. The park has a lot to offer!

Softball tournament held here. Directors need to let the swim meet folks know to have swimmers park behind the swim complex and not in the ballfield parking lots. Great complex but parking has been a problem several times in the past few years

Very well maintained! The lights are so convenient! Perfect for kids as Traffic and parking are far away enough to not worry about the dangers of the ball going to street or cars getting hit!
