This park is pristine such a rare find. I had to contemplate whether to leave a review so it can be my little secret. Tennis and a basketball court available. A small jungle gym for the kids on soft rubber playground mat. There seems to be a trail not entirely sure. Dogs allowed as long as you clean up after them . There are wooden tables outside or under a tent shaped structure where my friend and I sat to have brunch from T&J Waffles.

The playground is really nice. Theres also a tennis court, basketball court, paths to walk on, and public restrooms. The water fountain never works and the restrooms need to be better maintained but overall this park is great

This park is kept very clean and the play area is cushioned with some sort of cushion material. It also has a trail and a fairly large grass area for kids to run around and a large covered area with tables and BBQ area and it can be reserved for special events.

Hosted my daughters birthday at the pavilion. The place is spacious with a large field of greenery and the playground is very nice

Used this as an access point to fish the Patuxent. River was hard to get to, but I was eventually rewarded with a 1 pound bass. Also liked how I didn’t have to pay to enter either.

A pleasant park with basketball courts, a quality playground, a picnic area and a short path through the woods surrounding it.

Its a hidden gem!!!!Cons: Gets crowded a lot and needs more basketball hoops. The bathrooms arent ever open or seem that why as Ive never seen them open and Ive been coming here since they first built it. The water fountains I have only seen work a few time but water has been hot.Pros: Has a covered playground which is awesome for hot days and light rainy days. Has a few trails that are beautiful to walk in the fall and spring. Trails have lots of trees so summer time its very shaded and cool. Trails are also paved so its stroller friendly which is a huge plus if you want to walk or jog with babies/kids that are still in the stroller. There is a tennis court that is rarely used for tennis lol kids play in there more. Lots of parking and always a space available even when its crowded some how. A fair amount of handicap parking also. Lots of open field for football, kite flying, picnics or anything else you want to do in an open field. There is a pavilion with lots of picnic tables and grills. Also picnic tables scattered around the whole park even down the trails. Huge rocks to sit on and/or play on they are also nice decor. Lots of trash and recycling cans but not tacky. Scenery is very beautiful. Very well upkeep and friendly people who close the gates at sunset.I would recommend this park for sure.

Nice neighborhood park with good facilities and paved trails

I absolutely love this park. Its a Howard county hidden gem. Outside the paved area there is some real wilderness to get lost in. Lots of of little streams, rolling hills, wildlife, and access to the Patuxent river. I cant tell you how many deer, foxes, ground hogs, birds, squirrels, etc., That I have seen here. I love going on these nature walks with my dogs.Unfortunately, there is a decent amount of garbage sprinkled throughout the woods. I suppose no one complains about it, so the county officials are likely unaware of it.

Great shaded playground with bathroom building adjacent. Benches and picnic tables for adults to keep an eye on kids at playground. Pavilion close to playground. There happened to be a big birthday party going on while we were there, and despite being crowded, all kids and adults were getting along well, and everyone seemed to be enjoying the park. Saw lots of people with leashed dogs coming and going from the trails, so looking forward to heading back to check out the trails soon.

Worth the basketball for until Howard County park police close it

Its a great park and there is a huge jungle gym, walking trails as well as a pavllion to have events/grill. The womens bathroom was not horrible. Over all a great place to take your kid and tire them out :-)

Really lovely park. The playground is for bigger kids, wasnt so suitable for my toddler. Beware the super hot turf on hot days. Great grassy area. Bathrooms looked clean. Lots of parking. I didnt check out the paved walking paths, but saw lots of teens walking into the woods to hang out.

I cant say enough good things about this park, a definite hidden gem.Quiet, beautiful, serene, & secluded way back behind a suburban community.Has a playground, ball courts & fields, public restrooms, water fountains, barbeque grills, gazebos, walking/hiking trails (paved & unpaved) into & through gorgeous wooded acres, etc.To get to it this beautiful secluded park, you either have to already know where it is or will need to follow gps directions.Im here in this area for a few weeks on a work assignment, & the only reason I found out about this park was because I was searching in Google maps for nearby Howard County Parks to take my dog to for exercise & invigorating walks & hikes. So, THANK YOU Google maps for helping me to find out about this park & then for helping me to get there without getting lost.

Has a well- kept playground and area to run around, basketball court and tennis court.

Great for private parties! 1 pavillion with plenty of benches, open grass space, playground, clean restrooms, and basketball court.

Have been going here for years. Always clean. Lots of room for my boys to run around, jump and climb. Only drawback is that there are only two basketball hoops and the court is always full.

Nice park, tennis, basketball open field, playground. Trail is good for exercise and walking dogs.

The facility is well maintained clean and inviting.

This is a great park and trail. It has a bathroom and BBQ pit. There is a big field for family football and tennis court.

Finally added some shade to the kids play part. Before the sun would be beaming that my kids would get burned going down the slides.
