Went here for the League Of Legends Worlds Final, I was super surprised how nice the venue was. They have bars on the backside that serve drinks and they allow you to bring in your own food or drink if you choose to do so. It looks like they only open up the back sometimes since it can be used for tournaments or rented out. We enjoyed our time so much we ended up buying time and coming back it was pretty fun - only the front section was open but that was fine! Computers are fast and the peripherals are all decent (no complaints from me for sure) They have a deal for locals when you buy time you get some additional time no charge that is pretty dope too! Overall a really great time, if you have a 5 man it is worth it to have everyone all in one place and really make an event out of it.
COVID hit this place hard. Before going here we did plenty of research to make sure things were still open and it seemed like they were. When we got there we were informed that the arcade bar was closed and so was the shop. It was like a rundown town saloon with a few random people sitting watching TV and spitting tobacco juice into the nearby trashcans, along with three kids playing Fortnite on the PCs. The guests however are not indicative of the arena itself, obviously. The staff was very courteous and apologetic that we made a special trip to this arena with the plan to buy a jersey, gets some drinks, play a few arcade games, and watch the upcoming Mario Kart tournament becoming a bust. I thought it was a much bigger area from what pictures showed online, but its pretty cramped for such a hyped up arena. Its not the fault of the arena that my expectations were not met, I just wish things were clearer online before we made the trek.
My 13 year old son nearly had a heart attack when we went here. Gotta admit I was pretty stoked too. When we went there was a live Fortnite tournament going on with people of all ages competing. The setup with all the gamers is really cool and its pretty exciting to watch the tournaments and listen to the commentary. You don’t have to pay to go in and watch but you do have to pay to compete and play, the details and pricing are all on the Esports site. Definitely a unique experience... would return if we ever make it back to Vegas.
Dont use your own account at this place!! I went here excited like most gamers would be to play so.e where like this and seeing it. When I logged in to my account I played for a few hours the first night no issues when I came back the next day to finish using my 3 hours I could no longer play warzone online with my account would only give me 300 ping or higher. I thought it was just the servers and didnt worry about it when I returned home to play I have the same issue after calling hyper x they told me they would look in to it and call me back its a week later and no call or email back.
All of our activision accounts got banned after playing here. The staff was super friendly, but told us we can use our own accounts with no issues. I have reached out to HyperX and they said they would get back to me but haven’t yet. Basically we dropped $200 to get our accounts banned. DONT USE YOUR OWN ACCOUNTS HERE!
The staff was nice. The service was good. My reason for leaving a 2 star here is the lack of information. Went in to play COD:WZ with my best friend as we both met in Vegas and we live on opposite sides of the US. Was not informed by the staff that my account would be shadow banned for just logging in on my account. This is a problem as the company Activision which makes the game is absolute on their bans and there is no way to get support from that company. It would be terrible and not the end of the world if I could just create a new account but its hardware linked so any account I create will just be banned by activision now. This is information that should have been provided by the staff upfront as now Im out from playing one of my favorite games or I could build a new $4000 system to get the same experience I was getting till this happened. If you go here enjoy it its fun, but probe for details and information as to not end up in the same situation Im now in.
Equipment has hardware bans. Don’t pay to play on their computers. They make you use your own account to play and the game devs will ban your accounts for playing on banned hardware from someone previously cheating on them.
I was pleasantly shocked that such a place existed inside a casino. It’s literally one of those things you won’t believe until you see it. The layout was more geared towards pc gamers if my memory serves me correct. Wasn’t as busy as you might think but maybe I got off lucky.I should of asked if you are allowed to bring your own games/controller to play because that would really top off the experience.
Had a fantastic time there was able to watch a tournament live and it was a overall a good experience highly recommend going
Friendliest staff you will ever meet So much fun here and a lot of awesome people to talk to
Used my blizzard/activision log in to play warzone at their esports arena And was insta shadow banned by activision. I was given no warning nor did I know this would result in an issue prior to logging in to my account. At this point I have no idea if I will be able to use my account again and have spent at least $200 on in game currency and obviously time.Edit: Spoke with management team, working on a resolution to get this ban on our accounts lifted. I would reach out periodically due to our accounts also being tied to the new game coming out. They were pretty responsive to get back to me but could not help with the problem. Luckily the ban did not continue when Cold War launched and Activision eventually unbanned us. Overall just a real bummer as we really liked the arena and wanted to come back. I feel like the staff and management should probably at a minimum urge guests to use their in house accounts rather than private ones.
What a cool place. Located inside the Luxor. Had the opportunity to see this place and get the full experience as part of a conference. But this place was amazing, you can use the video game systems and they obviously have plenty to drink at the bars! If you have the chance to get in there do it, its awesome!
Dont go here i logged on my warzone acount here and now its not letting me join matches
Id say this place is fantastic to have parties or meet ups at. I personally didnt use all the available options but I did appreciate the freedom and simplicity that was offered.
Super chill place with an extremely friendly staff
The place was expansive while not being expensive. The PCs are all top notch and specd out. The staff are very helpful and attentive making sure youre enjoying your game. The atmosphere is very cyberish. Loved it and will return again.
I brought my teenage son and his friends to Vegas just to check this place out. They are in heaven. It’s the top of the line equipment in a VERY cool gamer setting. Screens everywhere. There’s even a bar and couches for the parents waiting for their kids to finish gaming. They charge by the hour. I’m just so impressed.
Great place for kids to hangout while parents enjoy the casino. Also nice place just to relax.
This places is awesome for kids to adults and newbs to pros! The staff is super helpful and accommodating! They have an array of games to choose from and tournaments most Fridays. My kids love coming here when we are in town, and I dont mind because of the lounge area, restaurant and awesome bar.
The service here was slow with only one waitress on duty the night we were there. She was accommodating and friendly and the bar staff was great! This place is top of the line for gaming. Live feeds, great set ups and well cared for equipment.
Seemed like a really cool venue. Didnt get to see it in tournament play, but you could tell it was a newer facility. The vintage consoles in the rotunda were really cool to see. They also had a really cool chandelier above it all.
In town visiting LV with my family and this turned out to be the highlight for my 6 year old son. I only wish they they had one near us in the DC area!!!
Its a great place to compete with an amazing community and a great environment
Its very empty right now but my son is having fun and the drinks are pretty good
Me personally Ive been there three different times and the staff and the people there are all supportive and respectful towards what we play against each other, also a nice place over all to chill and watch too, many dont have to go for tournaments but also a nice area for people to get to know each other Im hoping after the pandemic I can go back and just have fun
Place was clean and top notch. Gear was in great shape and the pricing was reasonable at $25 for the day. They had things to do if you are there for the kiddos, I could watch the game on a massive screen or sit at the bar from the second floor and watch some of the matches going on. Will definitely come back.
A+++ place for kids. They have lots of systems to play and you can buy minutes. We bought minutes in 2018 and they were still good for 2019. They also have a bar where you can order food at inside as well.
Very helpful employees. Good deals for playing time, game selection is some what limited but that cant be helped. Fast internet speeds let you download games they dont have. Good deals for locals and military discounts help. Great atmosphere with the arena. Definitely worth a check if you are into gaming.
I wish I knew about this place sooner. My son played for about 4 hours. He did need an account for certain games which he had prior to coming here.My wife and I ate here while all three of my kids played. I thought the food was good and priced accordingly for location. Our server Madison was very attentive to our needs and offered friendly service.Overall the staff was incredibly helpful in getting my kids started and quick to answer any questions they had. They couldnt get any better.A few suggestions that I think would help.1. Have a menu for kids which would include peanut butter and jelly sandwich, chicken nuggets, romaine noodles, simple grilled cheese, lunch meat sandwiches2. Area for younger kids games so they could be engaged as well.3. Ability to have a tab for kids to charge it to the rooms(they might already do this)We will be back for sure.
Cool place, great prices for gaming food and drink are the typical over priced on the step prices. Staff are cool the few I encountered.
VERY nice eSports arena. Take the 5 mins to look around at everything if youre nearby. Cool to see all the setups there.
Pretty nice venue for an esports event. The production quality is too notch.
This is a very cool place to play video games. They have various play passes that allow different amounts of play time as well as hosting various tournament. You have the option of playing PC or console. When we visited Fortnight was on display just about everywhere.
Really cool space. I came to use the LAN center facilities as I was here for work and had downtime. Played some rounds of Overwatch without a hitch. High refresh rate monitors, RGB-obsessed peripherals, and lots of food and drink. Game downloads are super quick and there’s a ton of stations to choose from. Rate was $10/hr for the summer with some free time if you buy more time. I’ll definitely be back!
My experience here was amazing Id enjoy the service here and loved the games here
Cool gaming place. Price to use isnt so bad. They got pc and consoles and a wide selection of games. There is a bar inside, you can also order food. Only, I wish it was open all day/night the latest they close is midnight but from Sunday to Thursday they close at 11pm. Overall cool place.
Amazing arena for gamers of every kind with PC, Xbox and PS4 terminals for your choice of platform, loads of places to play, a stage for pro gamer competitions and a bar for those of us who like a drink while we play.... Really cool place!
Its absolutely necessary for America to get more of these types of eSports arenas in order to stay relevant on the global scale in gaming and ESA seems to understand that well. I hope to see more competition in this industry in USA.As for the place itself it was nice but I do highly recommend you guys invest in a bag check, your target audience is likely to carry backpacks. There were seats open even during an event which we werent participating in which was very nice to not be turned away during that time.
Nice arena and the equipment gets the job done. However, too many cons to give this establishment a better rating. First of all, I signed a family member up for the APEX tournament and they took forever to start the actual tournament. By the time they started it was already 2 hours after it was supposed to begin. Honestly, I wanted to watch the tournament and I was unable to because they do not stream the game on the big screen. Honestly, that was a big disappointment.
Its good for gaming its a nice place. But the cost for food and drinks a really pricey for me. They seem to have a good line up of tournaments every day.
Amazing worth the stop by if your a gamer
The Exports Lounge is a great venue within The Luxor for teenagers and gamers alike to compete and spend some time. The lounge has no gambling associated so it is open to all ages and has reasonable prices on the amenities and food. Its a really fun atmosphere for kids to hangout at while you explore The Strip.
Had a great time and fun environment for my son.
Not sure why this was a one star. A gaming spot is always welcome, very cool look and a variety of gaming platforms. Would recommend.
Great place for 13yo boys and cheap beers. Please do not mix the two. Will come again.
Not a bad place. Good bang for your buck. Great place to bring kids who like gaming, but thats ultimately what it is, another place to play video games. Good bar with funny themed drinks.
When we came in there was maybe one or two people on the pc setups, so everything else was idle. The two of us paid $25 each for 2 hours gaming on the ps4s. We wanted to play apex legends together so we jumped on but the game needed updating with an update time of 10hours. So had to switch over to another console which needed an update too but was 10minutes. Its very disappointing when you pay money, jump on and have this dilemma when they could have been doing these updates when no one is on the consoles. Its simple to start the updates and just leave them to download so that when people come in and pay money to game, they are not confronted with updates before they can play. So after the updates we played some apex together and some fortnite. Headsets supplied are not amazing, game volume was not loud enough for me, and the setups are right beside the entrance so you can hear everyone walking around the luxor. I would of thought also they would have xbox one X and ps4 pros for a hyper x esports arena. I think there was also more to see upstairs etc but was not given an option to go see, would have been cool to take a peek.
They had Fantasy Zone.Instant 5.
State of the art gaming venue offering a wide variety of games at an affordable hourly rate. Really cool to check out!
This place is amazing. Came here a couple of times while my wife was at a convention. Great setup. Good snack and drink choices. Will most likely come here every year.
Very good place love the tournaments and stufff they had 10/10 recommend
Amazing atmosphere, digital displays everywhere. This is the ultimate e sports arena.
Customer service was good, but their systems need improvement. A group of 6 (myself included) couldnt play together because their facility was out of unique IDs for the game we wanted to play...which seems like a direct failure to meet customer needs. That said, they did honor an out-of-date offer, so they get a 4/5 from moi.Game on!
My family gather every Sunday to see my teen son play. He loves this place.
Great place to play computer games such as PUBG and dota. Bit cold inside and not sure why they played a basketball game on the big screen for a bit. Food was okay.
Great place for some gaming with my son great people awesome games and very profession experience. Price was not bad as well and hours blught 6 months ago were still on my sons account!!!!!
Cool place
Great staff! Reasonable pricing and great for locals.
Bought tickets for super bowl even. The map on the Eventbrite was completely different from where we got sat at. Pretty sure they over sold this and moved us the the end where we could barely see the big TV than they added a table next to us and could no longer see the small bar tv... They need to plan out these events better. #lies #wasteofmoney make sure you guys screenshot where your seats are at cause they will lie and act like everything was okay... #basura
My sons favorite place to game. Outstanding employees and great set-up.
It’s a pretty nice but second time I visited the arena was full, it was said to be a 30 minute to an hour wait. Ended up waiting 2 hours and not getting in, but other than that it’s a really nice place to play
Most fun you can have vertically in Las Vegas.
Great experience, gaming equipment is top notch and well maintained. Staff is helpful and always willing to answer questions! They have most big titles that you can play for a very reasonable price, and tournaments for many competitive games every week such as, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Mario Kart 8 DX, Smash Bros. Ultimate, Leage of Legends and others. They also have some vintage consoles which are really interesting. Great food and many options on the menu, drinks are phenominal (reccomend the Shirli Temple). Great time, even if you are just there to watch, it is a great experience with no venue fee (mostly). Would absolutely reccomend for anyone visiting Las Vegas or locals to take a trip down!
The facility itself is really nice.If youre playing anything that requires high refresh rate or online, it may not be the best place. The PCs themselves are okay.Monitors seem like they are 60Hz which is rather lackluster at this point in the game, especially for a HyperX branded esports arena.Worst of all, playing competitive via an online connection was very frustrating. 15-20% packet loss makes it almost unplayable for a competitive FPS and further exacerbates the poor refresh rate of the monitors.
Fun place to let of some steam
Great monitors and the games run perfectly, but events posted on their website have little information and do not match what is actually going on at the arena. Even after I mentioned this to them, they left the event posted and did not change any information. Other than that it was pretty good.
I just wanted to experience the gaming thing being a dad. It was worth the $15 for an hour of play time. Make sure you have an account, otherwise youre not able to some of the games. I was impressed as a dad :)
Went to league worlds finals watch party and had a blast! Shoutout for Trevor for hosting 1v1 tournament and being awesome!
Great experience for my 12 year old. $15 for an hour of gaming. Choose your platform, PC, XBox, or PS4. Age 13+ can be there without a parent, if you want a few minutes in the casino. Didnt try the food, but the menu looks good
Tried calling the arena to clarify some details about the hours, and numbers of pc’s available to use since that information isn’t on the website. After reaching an employee, all they did was ask for my account details, even though I told them every time I did not play on PC and had no details to give them. After having them avoid my questions I simply said thank you and hung up. Will not be going after the “service” I got over the phone.
Exciting, invigorating, energizing and fun. Loved it x 100.
This place is awesome. Amazing to see and play in person.
Always seems to be closed or closing by the time I make it thereBut the set up is amazing. Cant wait to actually do some gaming there
Highly recommended. We could participate for free in Mario kart tournament without being pro gamers and with very good material, commentators and so on. It was verrrry fun and such an enjoyable moment.
Really cool spot at the Luxor. Great staff
Friendly staff. Great place to hang out if you like competitive gaming and a few drinks on the side.
This place is dope. Especially if youre a gamer that likes rave style parties. 2 floors.can get really busy. Think it needs 1 more bar
Kids had fun for a couple hours while the adults did their own thing. A bit pricey at $25 per kid for 2hrs of play.
This was the highlight of my trip to Vegas. I love the place.
Great place for kids to play on different consoles for a hourly fee
Stopped in on Sunday night after the casino to relax and play some Fortnite. I live in Colorado Springs where there is a much smaller ESports Arena inside of a local Walmart so I wanted to see what Vegas had to offer as far as an ESports Arena. Location was HUGE (with tourney stage) and was entirely sponsored by HyperX (headsets, racing style gaming chairs, keyboards, mousepads, etc—ALL HyperX branded (exceptional quality). Staff was friendly, inviting, and efficiently assisted me. Pricing was awesome ($15/1hr, $25/2hr etc.) Registration and login in was super easy and took literally about 1min for me. Got into my account and began gaming w my friends, of course letting them know that I was reporting live from the HyperX ESports Arena in Las Vegas . We caught a couple of W’s and I had an awesome time. Now I know where to come to game in Vegas when I’m on vacation. Don’t miss out on the HyperX ESports Arena at Luxor!
Gamers love game stuff!!!!
Good place for the kids.
I liked the fact that you were able to compete in a tournament for a low price.
Amazing place for esports!
This was actually kinda amazing. There are streamers playing live games and casters/announcers commenting live!
I always attend the Big Buck Hunter Championship and I love the set up and facility.
This place charge you to play games that are not updated and updating them eats up the time you pay for. We spent 20 minutes just updating the game.
Colorful, but far smaller than appearances would make it appear. Food is basic, mass-produced, low-quality garbage, almost like its expected that gamers only like microwave pizza. Eww.
This place was amazing! We just happened to stumble upon it and it was definitely worth stopping by!
Cool spot, gamer and IT guys place to go kill some time and enjoy the nice PC rigs.
Amazing experience. As soon as you walk into the back room, theres this wow effect that just sweeps over you. Decently priced with a good game selection
Great place for the kids and actually a cool hangout for the adults
Fun for the whole gaming family.Equipment is state of the art. No expenses spared.
