Voodoo Zipline was super fun with views from atop of the Rio to die for. My only negative is the actual ride is super short like under 60 seconds. Its fun and worth a try, just adjust your expectations accordingly. ;)

We had a lot of fun doing this. Rio has the best service in Vegas! This zip line is a chair for two people where you are seat belted inYou take an elevator to the 51st floor and the zipline is 500 feet up. The view from the patio on the 51st floor is amazing! The zipline faces away from the strip so the view that way is not as great. It goes 33 mph and then they bring you back up backwards. It was a very short ride, but they gave us reride passes. We didnt have to wait in line at all and had a great time!

Not a fan of heights and as soon as we stepped out on the roof top was quiet terrifying. But Staff were really amazing, made me feel extremely comfortable before getting on the ride and very patient After 30minutes I gave it a go you don’t have anything to hold on to like a middle bar only the edge bar. But in the end the zip line is extremely smooth. It does bring you back and forth. But exhilarating in the end. 10/10 and the views from the rooftop are AMAZING

Like most Ziplines this was quick. We went in the morning so no lines.

The ride is short in duration but you are also 500 ft in the air so it works on your fear of heights in a safe manner. Staff was friendly and made sure you were a felt tucked in for your zipline adventure. We went at dusk so lights were popping and the sun was setting against the skyline...beautiful with the zing factor :)

This is a must. I recommend getting the package with the go pro video. It is priceless.

This place is awesome ziplining was so fun

After making my way through the Rio Casino after seeing WOW in a nearby theater. I came across the ticket stand for the VooDoo Zipline. It seemed intriguing enough, so I bought a ticket for my brother and myself. I cant remember exactly the circumstances that resulted in a relatively cheap ticket price. I believe it was less than $30 for the two of us. Perhaps we were simply just there on a special deal night. Whatever the case, after a thirty minute wait in the Casino, a text was sent to my phone altering us it was our time to travel up to the zip-line. After the glass elevators than run along the outside of the building take you up to the VooDoo nightclub/lounge. You have to then make your way through the windy hallways to the outdoor balcony. Once there, you are immediately taken back by the five star view of the Vegas strip. A near perfect and all encompassing panorama allows you to see the strip stretching from Trump tower to Excalibur. As you make your way to the zipline, you are advised to put your belongings in a nearby locker. As the nerves begin to unravel you, the employees will try to reassure you. While it may seem precarious to have only a car seat belt restraining you from certain death, however it does what its suppose to. The ultimate view and acceleration is exhilarating. Enough to certainly satisfy your daredevil urge for the evening. For the price and duration of the ride to and back from the second tower, the VooDoo Zipline is well worth the experience.

Fun. Fast. Only a belt accross your waist. Good views. On Freemont you get to fly like Superman, that’s kinda cooler. Typo on the sign where you buy tickets ...

I’m usually horrified of fast moving things high off the ground but about half way through I was like wow this is actually mega beautiful view and I don’t feel like I’m going to die. Then I realized it was over which is why 4 stars instead of 5. I got up the courage, found that I actually enjoyed it, then was disappointed when it was so short lived. The employees are great and I would totally do it again.

Really fun zip line. We were super nervous, but it ended up not being that bad. It is a must do in Vegas. We ate dinner first it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Plus we felt safe and the views were nice.

This is not a relaxing, frilly zipline. Its a 33mph, off a building so high your ears pop in the elevator, wearing nothing but a seat belt zipline. Tip-Bring cash for the photo of your face when you realize how freaking crazy you are! Its worth it.

It was fun. I love finding new things to do every time I visit Vegas and now I can finally check this off my list. It’s a must do.

Customer service here is impeccable!!!! They made one of best days of my life amazing. The owner and staff helped my now Fiance plan how to ask me to marry him over the view of Las Vegas skyline!!! Fun ride if youre not scared of heights

Cool staff that are there to make it fun for you. The two girls at the front had us sign in and get everything squared away, then escorted us over to have us proceed up to the top floor for the excursion. When we got up one of the staff members walked us down to the Zip Line and tried to take our picture but the camera was malfunctioning so he took a picture using our phone overlooking the strip.

If you are an adrenaline junkie this is you! Ive never been afraid of a ride in my life..until this one! Lots of fun and a great experience!

Very cool experience and totally different from Fremont Streets zipline. You sit in a seat like a rollercoaster, theres a double lap belt and thats it. Nothing in front of you or a floor to put your feet on. They are just dangling. If you go at night, theres all the city lights and its slow enough so you can take it in (while your heart is still beating out your chest).

It was fun but totally over priced, I dont suggest making a major trip for it. It literally only last 60 seconds so maybe good if youre in the area and have like a 2 for one coupon. Pictures are $20 as well

Amazing customer service. They really make you feel comfortable and @ ease. I will not lie, it was crazy scary yet fun @ the same time!! Afterwards we went to a party a Voodoo. Voodoo had great vibes and had a nice crowd - not super crowded but nice enough to have a good time.

Daughter and her friends went on it.. and would do it again and again if we had let them. Prices are reasonable, to bad I hear they are going to tear down Rio and use it for the Raiders and possibly the next baseball team.

Went to Vegas with a friend and tried the zipline. It was a lot of fun. The workers are very professional and joke around with you, which eases any nerve you may have. They have pictures and videos of you after your experience. Our receipt was also used as a free pass to get into their nightclub on their roof, which has a beautiful day and night time view. It was great.

Went for my birthday We first went to the buffet which was great, Ive lived her for over 20yrs and the Carnival buffet has never disappointed. I however got wasted and decided to go on the zipline with my friend. The staff was very helpful and extremely nice. I would recommend this attraction to anyone, and I am also terrified of heights but this wasnt that bad. It was one of my best days ever. Love the Rio and everyone that works the Voodoo lounge and Zipline. Excuse the shaky pics it was windy and I was excited.

Really wanted it to be longer! But loved being high up there... We are thrill seekers so didnt really scare us...

Google and the Website both said they open at 3. A $11 cab ride later, they are closed. What’s even worse is that they are closed and still sold tickets. What type of business is this? Avoid.

This is not an every day zip line it’s almost like riding a roller coaster several hundred feet in the air! You even get a sneak peek at club voodoo while you’re up there. It’s totally worth the price.

Fun staff and OMG - do it at night! BEAUTIFUL! I had so much fun doing it, as my first time in Vegas! The night I went, there was a small sand storm and it the wind was heavy but I am a daredevil so I loved it hahaha! It was amazing! A MUST DO, at night, in Vegas! - Then after, enjoy a drink on the rooftop and take in the view! :)

Im only giving it 5 stars, because I feel fortunate that I lived to tell the story. They really really really need to put shoulder harnesses on that chair and maybe a lap bar to hold on to!!!

Love it . Im a thrill seeker when it comes to rides. Its pretty scary but its really safe and its quick and youre really high up there...lol. I love the Rio I always have and this attraction adds to another reason to visit the Rio . There is a bar on top when you get up there you can lounge up there its just beautiful to see the city....The staff was courteous and helpful .

I really liked the Rio zipline. Its definitely one of the highest in the area, if not the highest. I like that youre seated comfortably on a seat so that you can enjoy The descent without being Tangled up in a harness. My favorite thing about it is that its really two rides. You get to go down at a reasonably high speed. then they pulled you backwards, back up to the starting point on the 50th floor. the backwards ride up was actually more exciting than going down, because you get that feeling of being dumped out of the seat.The Rio casino is disgusting. It smells like raw sewage mixed with cigarette smoke. I wish you did not have to walk through this horrible casino to get to this exciting ride, but Im still going to give them five stars.By the way, do not pay for the photo of you standing on the stairs. You get two for $20, choose the ones during the ride. You can always ask another tourist to take a picture of you on the steps.

Thrilling experience, the seat has a belt around to hold you by waist and nothing else. This is one thrilling ride, makes a round trip.

Walked in on them on my last night in vegas. They are located on the 2 floor in the rio hotel in las vegas. Overall i paid $60 dollars for the zipline and the go pro video package of my ride. They take several photos of you during the ride as well. You can purchase those photos for $25. Overall its a scary wild fun ride that starts of the 51st floor of the hotel. There is a also a rooftop bar you can get drinks and party after. This is definitely better than freemont street zipline.

I didnt actually do the zipline but I recorded my wife doing it. It looks like fun for thrill seekers. You go up 20 + stories in an elevator and zip across to the other side if the hotel. Then you are wound back to the starting point.

I purchased a Groupon for myself and my sister (it was her birthday), followed the procedure for reserving a time and date, get there and they are closed for the holidays. I have called to try and get a refund, as we were visiting and that was our last night, and I havent been able to get through. Groupon will not refund because it says final sale. Why have a date available if youre going to be closed. My sister and I was there along with two other families. It wont let me upload the photo of the sign saying they were closed for the holidays.

It was actually pretty boring. My husband and I did this about a year ago and we also paid for photos in a memory card of footage from our zip line ride only to get home and the SD card was defective and unreadable. We even tried reading it on multiple devices.,

Scary but fun thrill ride!

If you are afraid of heights its a no. But otherwise, ok. Not really ziplining.

It goes by very fast and you first check in and they text you when it’s your turn. They take pictures for purchase...I went during the day with my boyfriend and the sun was in our eyes so we posed funky.You wait quite awhile about 45 minutes total for us but it was really fun. We went when it was 5$ Wednesday and i strongly advise going at night. Next time we will go at night but only if 5$ otherwise it’s costly for the experience IMO.If you do partake, take extra money for the photos. Even though we looked silly squinting, I wish I would’ve gotten a photo. The quality is better than I thought.I also gave this a higher rating because I was with my boyfriend and it was a nice experience together:)

The Zipline was fun, not scary unless you have a problem with heights. It is Very high up, backwards was a trip.If you have a problem with steps make sure that you let them know before you get on the elevator to go up.The employees are all very nice.

Well, I purchased the Groupon for $57. Included zip line for 2 plus picture and little scan disc card from go pro.Trying to find the place was a pain. Once we were headed in the right direction we were told to empty our pockets and spread our legs and put our arms out. Felt like we were headed for prison.After he scanned us for medal we put everything back in our pocket and headed upstairs to redeem our voucher.The couple behind us prepaid downstairs and were only charged $15 each. But the person upstairs tried to charge them $27. They told her they already paid downstairs.I dont know what thats all about but remember to pay downstairs not upstairs because you will get charged $12 more. I asked what the $27 included. Thinking they must get photo, or go pro video and she said nothing. Just the ride.The couple were happy to get the same for the $15 they paid downstairs and saved $24.The ride was very very very very short. Not at all scarey and almost a waste of time. I would like to say the views are great from up top.And they do allow you to go again for only $10 if you decide you want to go again. But I didnt. It was boring.

The staff is really nice. I like the guy that was checking people in and doing the metal detector. He was really funny and kept everything moving. The zipline itself is slightly terrifying since it feels old and rickety but I guess thats part of the fun. My only suggestion would be to add a divider between the two seats with a hand hold like the ones on the outside edge of the seats so there is something to hold on to.

Seen it, liked it, but couldnt get on it....

So not fast..... But ok fun. Kiss Mini golf downstairs is way better...

Well its a really good view from up there. The zip line is not scary at all, but if you have a buddy thats afraid of heights then I definitely recommend it. Oh and dont be alarmed if the operators say Woah woah woah! theyre just trying to make you scared.

This was a lot of fun and locals get a discount to ride. Friendly staff. They have a small free locker to place your belongings near by the ride. Because you are not allowed to have loose items on this ride. It was very enjoyable and beautiful views. Would go back to ride again. Five Stars.

So disappointed. After a lot of researching and assurance that this zip line is accessible, we arrived only to find it is far from accessible and it took until we were actually in front of the zip wire having signed a waiver and been escorted to the location to be told can u get yourself into the seat. We can’t help u!!!!! Totally disappointed as the website indicates it is accessible and there are people to assist. :(

The zipline was overall fun, but as mentioned in previous reviews it was only about a minute long one way. We went on a Tuesday night, and there was no line or wait.

Going backwards is way worse than going down, gorgeous views. Doesnt feel very fast so if your expecting to speed rush you wont get it here, but honestly, its all about the views!
