A wide open park with lots of space to move around. Theres a large field for soccer and several play structures for kids to play on. A great place to get some exercise.

For being a former old homeless camp (not officially but come on if youre from Vegas or been here long enough ya know lol) this place really got a nice make over. Skate park, little fenced in dog parks, tennis courts, basketball courts to a huge area to walk around and a soccer field its wonderful. The basketball court has been closed down since covid though unfortunately but everything else is open. Only down side is there are some homeless that like to camp out in the restrooms but havent had an actual issue with em.

This is our go-to walking track when we are in Vegas. We enjoy the scenery, mountains off in the west, the feral cat colony to the north. We enjoy observing the soccer, rugby and other practices that folks are engaged in. Most of the dog walkers are great about cleaning up after their pups, but some..... leave the mess on the concrete. Be responsible. *The folks that use the park/field need to be a bit more diligent about cleaning up their beverage bottles and cans. I occasionally I see a good Samaritan picking up trash only to return the next day...to more garbage. Lots of parking and restroom facilities nearby.

A get a way in your own town is always nice. Gotta walk the dog? No problem. A dog park and walking trails should take care of that. Or just relax and enjoy the view.

Our veterans are using this park to clean up and TRY to get ready to job search and go to interviews. I realize we cant help everyone but it seems like nobodys out there trying to help! IF YA HAVE EXTRA TOILETRIES MANY OF OUR FELLOW VETERANS COULD BENEFIT. I know our fabulous community will come to the rescue!HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Loved the water pad area and the park looks very nice. Also you can play basket, hoops still are on (rest of parks no hoops available), great parking area. Just several homeless sleeping under kids playground but overall good place

I constantly go hear for a good jog/run. Cool part about this park is that there is a upper and lower regions to the park. It makes it easier for those who want a short walk or to take the kids out for water play or excercises in the upper smaller section of the park. Also, the lower region is great for sport practices, longer walks, jogging and just to watch the games too if youd like. Theres tons of parking and space which is really nice during COVID right now to keep social distancing between others. Overall, this park offers a lot of variety to everyone. Hope you enjoy!

Ive been to this park a few times.I enjoyed walking around the soccer field.A nice play to bicycle and run also.Ive taken my grandkids to the park area.They really loved playing in the field and on the playground.Its really relaxing.

Decent park, has lights but only if you pay for them. The park is extremely packed, so Id recommend you have a permit if you want to hold practice for whatever sport you are playing. It does get chilly at night when the sun goes down. Its also not in the best of neighborhoods so keeps your stuff locked up and be careful in the parking lot. One of our parents saw a syringe next to their car when we left.

Its a great park but who ever maintenance is needs to fix the kennel gates that lead from one kennel to another. My dog got right through to other kennel . Other then that love this park

Nice park.it Looks like mostly a sport park. Large grass field.and one path all around it. A little park for children too. Two dog parks. Not my favorite park in Vegas but still good for walking...

Gr8 park but it was very dirty yesterday. Soccer players leaving there empty water bottles trash all over the place. I still love thepark i wish people would pick up after themselves

Nice and clean dog park setup with 3 sections for different size dogs. Decent and well kept restrooms. Lots new play equipment. To the south is a huge sports field with lots of open space. Big park to walk all the way around.

Its a big dirt hole.

Interesting park built on what appears to be an old quarry.Not much shade. So eating lunch there on a summer day is not desirable. A lot of trash.

Look its a good park. It covers all off the basics with great spacing to accommodate as many activities as possible. And yes! Theres even a basketball court so you know this place will appeal to the black community! /s

Charlie Frias Park is the place to play Flag and tackle football, Lacrosse and soccer, the park is minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip and is walking distance from the Orleans hotel and casino. The park features seven natural grass lighted fields, a 10 wide walking path thats about three quarters of a mile around, theres a grass path on the edge of the walking path for jogging. Theres a gas station, drug store and a host of other businesses in walking distance. The fields are sunken 50 below ground which makes for excellent atmosphere for playing sports

This is a great park. Located in central Las Vegas and very easy to get to.I remember when this was a nasty desert filled with homeless people. Then it was finally built into something beautiful and very useful for the kids and adults of the surrounding neighborhoods.

I got there to watch my nephew football practice. Its a very popular park for walking running or just chilling.

This part is very beautiful but due to COVID-19 it was shut down. Once the pandemic is over I believe that this park will flourish with activities. To all my local Las Vegas I would like to say, stay strong and we will get through this together. Vegas strong baby.

Actually work on building the Stark suit Gothic landscaping inc so thats why best Park in Nevada!

Nice park but way too many homeless people in the kiddie area. Not cool at all and its uncomfortable while the kids are playing homeless men were going in the water area as well as drinking the water from there.

One of my favorite parks. Has wild toads that appear slightly before, during, and slightly after summer which is cool. Theres a gang of wild cats that keeps the park free of rabbits and rodents. They are a protected group with people who feed them every so often. Nice playground and awesome game fields where people come for little league practice and games. Cool rocky area that i like to climb and explore.

Super pretty and private. The splash park was a great size and there was lots of shade:)

The park was dirty. There were several homeless people laying around the playground, which had no swings and barely nowhere to play. The splash pad was pretty cool.

Great fenced in part for large dogs the only downfall no Doggie water faucets its hot out here The city needs to install water access for pets as wells as Clean faucets for Humans but its a park and our Dog got to run

Nice park, still can be cleaned up quite a bit tho. The restrooms especially need more round the clock cleaning

Clean, spacious, and a walk about vortex towards the back of the park.It was pretty cold the evening we went to walk the vortex so I didnt wander about, ergo theres not much more I can say.I did enjoy the walk and the company.So if for no other reason than that, Ill say, the park is inviting and clean.

Only thingThe place iw huge to bring your scooter or bicycle. There is a dog run place, basketball court and tennis as well. The only downside is that some people dont use the dog run and the owners dont pick up after their dogs.

Good park for sporting activities

Great soccer, multi use sports fields, restrooms, ample parking. We jogged around the perimeter on a paved path. There were numerous other joggers and walkers as well. Its approximately .7 miles around

Nice open space for kids to play, run and climbing on rocks and playing in the water playing in jungle gyms. A nice place to walk; they have a dog area for large and small dogs. My grandson had a great time.

Charlie Frias Park is a nice park close to the Strip. This time of the years the trees are gorgeous.

The equipment for play is not the greatest but my daughter loves it here and always finds a friend to play with. They have ample area for jogging, walking, and huge grassy area that looks like may be used for soccer or football.

Large, spacious, and beautiful. Its even better when on a clear and sunny day. Great view of red rock mountains.

The dog parks are amazing large, med, small section for each size dog. Love the upgrades. Check the website for local maintenance for they open the back dog gates to have a large work truck come through when having dogs present. Although, the worker give fare warning of them opening the gates to drive through prior. Also would need to bring own water dish. Would love to see some type of water pool so the dogs can cool off.

I went in the afternoon, 3 guys were jogging and I would have stayed but they kept starring at me and I dont feel safe alone. I dont think they knew each other. But just the same. No thanks.

One of my favorite park, I love parks every one of them have their own unique qualities. From this park You See the spring mountains on the west side of Vegas. At certain times of the year when the sunset behind it, it takes your breath away . Everywhere I lived there is one place I take the most pictures so far this one is in the top.

Beauriful Park and outstanding scenery. Many less fortunate individuals camped out however they are friendly and harmless. Be good to the park and the park will be good to you. Its safe

This park participates in the citys trap and release of the feral cat population meaning. Feral cats that are trapped in unsafe places in the city, are released into the cliff areas of this park and are fed and watered. Great place to go for an evening walk and spot a cat or two that has a home among the cliffs. Also has a playground, bbq areas, splash pad, basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields, dog park, workout equipment, gravel maze and great walking paths. Check it out. Also support the citys trap spay or neuter vaccinate and release program for feral cats.

Love this park for Pokémon Go. I have never felt unsafe while hunting Pokémon. It has one Pokémon Go Gym. It’s located on the Southside of the Park. It is EX-Pass Gym. Great for those Mewtwo hunters out there. The park has at least 8-10 Poke Stops all around the park. Great for families and Dogs. It’s also a Feral Cat Colony. I spotted my first cat last time I visited. I love this park.

Great place to jet down some short hills on a longboard in the AM when not to many peeps walking.

Stopped by with my son while waiting on a Doctors appt. They have one jungle gym as the entire playground, and a flat grass field. Trash and homeless everywhere. The majority of the park on the map isnt even park. I guess it would be ok to walk around the field but thats it. Son was bored within minutes. I picked up the trash that was around the playground and we left. Drive somewhere else if you have kids.

My dog goes for the dog park located north of the main park. It has its own entrance off of Decatur although its accessible from the main park. There is plenty of parking but not close to the large dog area. Not far at all for able bodied but slightly down/up hill, not realistic for those with walking issues.Anywho, 3 separate, but 1 one is under maintenance, gated areas with not dead, dry, brown has been used to be almost grass but actual alive living green grassy blades so your dog can roll around like you never give him a good rubb & scratch while joyfully leaving his I Was Here first mo fo scent until his hearts content then scratch himself silly the rest of the day!
