If you love ducks, water, or a huge play area where your kids can play then this park is just perfect. Basketball courts are now open. Very few bums.
First time Ive been here. My dog loved all the ducks. I enjoyed walking in the garden. The Roses were beautiful and...Ill have to go back and re-read the history of the first guy in Nevada. And read about the plants that are there. I was a little distracted. This was a really pleasant outcome to me taking a wrong turn! Really a cool park!
This is a nice park. Very diversely patronized. Relatively well maintained, with the exception of the goose droppings throughout the park. It would be nice not to have to watch ones step while on the sidewalks.
Restrooms could be a little cleaner. So could the water park area. The size of the park itself is great. It has many covered seating areas and fairly clean grills. The kids playgrounds could have lighting. Only reason is that parents sometimes stay out a little later and sun sets late. This is one of the parks that stay pretty clean. Restrooms could be bigger. Today I saw two adult women fighting, but they kept to themselves and didnt get anyone else involved and they fought their way out of the kids play ground. This park isnt bad at all for it being in (The Hood)lol. Ducks are friendly...
I have visited this park a few times now. Mostly for the tennis courts though, which were kept up a few years ago(cant comment on recently). The park is large enough for some good excercise, large pons with a variety of birds around. We had a fun time trying to figure out what the strange ducks were. They are Muscovy ducks, and native to South America!
We were able to have 1:1 time with Bri & able to give her her birthday presents. I love this park, her and I went through the splash pad to cool off very first thing upon entering! Then we got to feed ducks, open presents, she had so many things to play on and to choose from. You can fish here too. The only interruption we honestly had was when we were sitting opening presents, the police/ Marshalls of all the people there were the only nosy ones and was a interruption because the two males just kept talking right in the middle of us opening stuff up and shes shy so she is real quiet and shuts down easily, they could tell but yet the still trying to chat it up and tried bribing her with a sticker but besides them being extra nosey when it was definitely not needed or wanted everything else and the park itself I absolutely love.
This is a great place if you want to get away. Hardly nobody frequents this park. Whether you want to get a nap...or eat outside. The only thing is the giant and ugly Geese feel entitled so they walk up to you and beg.
It would be a nice park if they cleaned out the homeless. Other then that its ok park. But good if you want to play tennis baseball or just ride a bike for exercise.
A lot of hobos, but what a beautiful park. I wish the authorities would make the undesirables leave, then I would give 5 stars.
I visited the tennis center and was glad to see the usta junior sectional. The quotes posted along the fences are uplifting and create a positive tone to bring out our best. I look forward to returning to play some doubles and watch the good competition.
The courts are no longer available to the public. It is beautiful Aggasi tennis center. A fee of $7 or $15 per court per hour isnt totally terrible.
This is a very huge park. Love that they have 2 ponds you can walk around, theyre pretty big sized ponds. They also have a basketball court and I believe 2 sets of playgrounds. (We didnt go towards that area due to the cautious tape from COVID 19) They also have this humongous field you can literally do anything.. (picnics, lay under a tree, kickball, soccer, anything you name.) You are able to fish, but you must have a fishing license if youre over the age of 12. If you love bird watching this is a perfect place for that. The ONLY downside is that there is literally duck s**t EVERYWHERE by the ponds. YOU HAVE TO BE AWARE OF WHETE YOU ARE WALKING....or else you WILL step in it..
From the first time I went I loved it. Love the lake and the people are friendly. I love the basketball courts can be seen from one of the playground areas. I havent walked around the entire park however I know that everyone that goes there always says its a nice family oriented park. Only downside this time around is that it was dirty which caught me off guard however Im thinking maybe short staffed.
I would have given it a 4-star or 5-star but the kids splash pad was closed. The kids like the water and the ducks and the play area
Love this huge park with lots of green grass and mature trees. Mallard ducks, Muscovy ducks, Canada geese, etc - I even saw 5 Black-capped Night Herons!) add a nice touch. A bit disappointed though that: there are very loud small motorcycles with teenagers on them driving through all day (even saw them coming out of the park at 5am when it was CLOSED!) who at times drive right by people to scare them & no 1 is stopping them. Where are Marshalls when we need them? The water fountains water is hot & all but 3 were removed this year. For a park this size? I still go once a week for a picnic & to walk my pet as I live nearby.
Very Dirty, guy was hitting dat good good in da bathroom
Yo the Geese are running a Drug operation to the point if you dont have no bread or something to feed them, you not allowed to take photos and chill.Gangsta thats all I can say. Beautiful place to propose to your wife..
Old park, it really shows. Still a large field, playground, and 3 basketball courts. Really nice tennis facility.
Not bad aside from all the duck poop all over every patch of grass.
My daughter and I had a pleasant time. She even made a friend with a family that was very nice there while I worked out myself.
Good lord this park is massive! It is super clean and the people are very friendly. It has a fantastic fishing pond with plenty of ducks and geese. I fell in love the moment I drove up to the gates. Absolutely beautiful park.
Very beautiful park with ponds to fish in . They really keep it clean .. overall. my favorite park to go to
Well kept. There are baby ducks everywhere right now. We like to feed to geese and ducks
Great place for a walk, maybe a picnic. I would steer away from the seats on the island in the middle of the pond. Alot of ducks use it as a restroom.
Came here on a Wednesday around 630am. Its 830 now and just getting our bait stolen. Lots of big fish jumping everywhere. Nice clean park. Mens restroom is a wreck.
A great place to fish, feed various life forms of birds, take the kiddos to play, and play some basketball.
Nice park..several homeless people there but they dont bother anyone and stay clear of the water part when kids are around
You know ur on the westside when ur at lorenzi, so much nostalgia. Always a great place for the kiddos
Beautiful park. Quiet getaway. Loved the ducks roaming around freely. Alot of families looked very happy spending time there. Also a great place to take pictures.
There are SO MANY kinds of ducks and geese! Great place to feed them and for kids to learn about them. Theres also fishing, a splashpad, basketball court and more. It also has a GREAT walking path and lots of tables and benches. We LOVE it here.
Very large area with wide paths and a couple ponds. Didnt catch any fish or any bits in mid october. Play ground was full of kids playing lots of sitting space.
Nice park with two ponds for fishing. There were a lot of baby fish in the water. However, the park is not in a good area, so would not recommend going in the evening.
Its a nice park to spend the day, BBQ pits and ponds all over .
Fun place to hangout and enjoy the day off with family.
This park has EVERYTHING! My son loves to come visit the ducks and swans and there are 3 different parks and a big splash pad with good water pressure. My favorite park in Vegas.
It was very clean kids having fun and mothers and fathers where there with them.over all I loved it and will return.
It is not clean at all too much traffic anywhere in the park. A lot of Marshalls which it makes you feel like a criminal very unease feelings.
They have a pond for fishing but it gets pretty hood once the sun starts going down
Super huge and awesome park. Theres a lake to fish in, a senior center, a little water park for when it gets hot, racquetball courts, baseball diamonds, basket ball courts, lots of grass and trees. Its great. And its open now during the covid 19 lockdown.
Amazing water retreat in the middle of the ciry. Love the ducks and great place for picnic. Cons is that its pretty crowded and parking can be a challenge.
Ever since childhood, I always came here to feed the ducks. Much like everyone else. We found a different duck species with a red head and black and white feathers. It was much larger then the others. Reminded me of a vulture! I just want everyone to know to feed ducks apples or grain instead of bread. Bread is very harmful to them!
A little older splash pad. Restrooms are clean. Quiet restful area. Plenty of ducks. My kids loved watching the duck and playing in the splash pad.
I love this park!! This is my daily spot my go to spot for meditation and nature grounding and its close to home!
Nice park! The ducks were nice too.
A most fantastic park! If you need something free to do to kill time or just be outside while in Vegas, this is a great spot for you and family!
Nice small ponds, without a lot of traffic. Caught 4 fish on worms (catch & release)
Park look so much better with the upgrades over the years. Duck and turtle pond! Love it I actually took pictures there!
Childhood park love it but the trash and druggies walking around is horrible and the kids playground doesnt have lights for night time
Very nice and quite! Nice park to rest and enjoy yourself!!
The walking path was nice but the splash pad needs updating. There isnt any coverage at the splash pad. The play area has graffitti but the kids liked the slides.
I caught 2 little bait snatchers but Ive heard there are some nice size cat fish in there
I came to this park for a little while between jobs. It is well developed with play places for children and a large basketball court. The trees are mature offering shade plus there is a lot of grass to run around in.
This park has a very nice Sports complex
We had a blast at the splash pad and also watching all the ducks. Very clean and well taken cared of park.
Very nice park except for all the trash. I wish people would pick up after themselves. The pond was nice and the walkways are nice.Loved the all the geese and ducks
The kids were able to play without being harassed. The little water toys were on and they had a nice time.
This is an amazing park! Its huge and has areas for baseball, tennis, soccer And basketball. Plus there are tons of paved paths for walking or biking along playgrounds for the kiddos. My favorite part is the two giant pounds full of various ducks and geese who love to be fed! There are lots of different covered picnic areas that have grills for cookouts and parties. I love to bring my dog here and feed the duckies. Only downside is that people fish here and leave their lines and trash
Lots of activities for children. Open spaces to run and play. Picnic tables. A lake with ducks and three playgrounds.
Loved this park. Has a huge beautiful lake with bridges connecting walk areas so getting from one side to another is not difficult. Ducks are beautiful but geese are very scary. Bathrooms are clean and felt safe. DEFINITELY would visit again!!
Please clean the pond and sidewalks. People come to feed ducks and fish. Lots of space for picnicking and bbq.
Beautiful early morning Bird havan gooses in 12 packs making crisp water landings
Surprising little find in the middle of the city.
Some park fishing and big for any activities.
I love this park. Me my dog and my partner go quite often. One of my favorites
I love Lorenzi park. Been coming to this park since 1976. Alot has changed through the years.
You gone loose something that is very important!
Its nice with the green but people bring their dogs and leave the dog poop on the grass and there is lots of it
Had a picnic near the lake during the shutdown in Las Vegas. It was a very nice peaceful Park to hang out and watch the wildlife around the ponds and kids playing
Lots of fun for kids, and BBQ pits, with good splash pads.
Fishing tennis walking lots of ducks and geese the grounds are not being kept as they should probably due to covid 19
Very big. Many playgrounds. Gets very packed on holidays.
Very dirty. Such a beautiful day and place. Its a shame people cant just throw things away
Hadnt been for whileVery niceLoved ducks and geeseEven a few turtles.
Excellent Park for Entertainment such as Birthday parties, BBQs are just hanging out with family, friends, kids and love ones!!!
We feed the animals everyday while walking our dogs, in the evenings everything is nice
Great cookout with family celebration memorial son WJ who has gone home to the Lord
Great park with lots to do. However, there was an issue with the homeless.
Love this park!!! Always has been and always will be one of the best places in this city to unwind and relax. Even with the homeless and rowdy geese, between the Rose garden and the lake it is always relaxing and feels like home.
Great park they have a play ground a duck pond and Rose Garden and another playground and its huge. Theres basketball courts its well-kept all around good Park theres also a water pad so yeah
This is beautiful park and it is staple on the community.
Awesome it 92 degrees but feels like 80 under this tree. The birds are talking a good breeze oh gotta go ice cream man.
Very beautiful park....its a blessed place..for all my mornings with my love....and our dog Tico
Such a beautiful place to relax and unwind while watching the wildlife.
Great place for anyone to bring young children to play and be safe... There is even ducks to feed and a beautiful Rose garden area... bathrooms were all clean also.
Tranquil. Close to UMC if you need a place to chill and think. Beautiful place for a walk or a heart to heart chat.
Its a great fun park for families
I go almost everyday to walk the dogs and feed the ducks, praying that the youths playing basketball stay safe from any illnesses
A lot of fun with my friends when I went. The ducks were fun to feed
Fishing for catfish and I caught turtle imagine that man-oh-man great time though I didnt get no fish but I did catch a turtle off a hot dog yes a hot dog
My kid had a lot of fun and was very clean!
So, what can I say about Lorenzi Park? This is a beautiful neighborhood park with a man made little lake, lots of wild geese, several tennis courts, a rose garden, many softball fields, basketball court and plenty of areas for barbecues and picnics. Good place for fresh air and relaxation.
Nice and beautiful park with big ponds, lots of birds, but there is lots of dirty pooh from birds.
I enjoyed a quiet stroll her at Lorenzi Park with my husband. We love the lake which serves as the home of the ducks and geese. I appreciate that there were benches scattered around the park where the visitors can sit down and admire the serenity of the place. I just hope that they clean the place because there were a lot of poop from the birds, ducks and geese. I hope that they keep the place well-maintained. Hope this gets resolve the next time that we get back because we are planning to go back and have a picnic here with our friends.
Lorenzi park is big and has several great amenities.I particularly like the lake. Although it is small, it has a little island, which is accessible by a bridge. It is home to ducks and geese. The one downside of the birds is there is bird poop throughout the park. So, watch where you step. The park includes multiple playgrounds and grassy areas for children to play. There are also numerous shaded picnic tables, which are spread out. I like that design because it allows different groups to have parties in the park at the same time. The tennis and basketball are well maintained. There are multiple baseball fields, complete with surrounding fences and bleachers. All of the sporting venues have lights that turn on at night.I also like the solar panel covered parking because it keeps the vehicles cool and helps with electricity!
Big park, not in a great area, not very clean.
