Even though the temple is mostly closed right now, we like to come as a family and sit outside the grounds. The Lords peace is still felt. We study scriptures (or sometimes watch scripture videos) and hope to instill in our children the blessing of having a temple so close to us. There is peace in all of the chaos of the world.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I love attending the temple. For those who do not have recommends to perform the ordinance work that goes on in the temple, the temple grounds are a beautiful place to be. You can see the entire valley from there.The public can also enter the temple and walk around the spacious entry room (more like a giant living room) and enjoy the peacefulness there; there is also the arboretum you can go into. It is an excellent place to go if you need some space for quiet meditation time. Sometimes weddings keep the entry quite busy, though.Be dressed appropriately in Sunday attire if you wish to enter the temple itself. You can be dressed in casual clothing to walk the grounds.Also on the same site is one of the smaller Family History Centers. There, you will find assistants so willing to help you with your genealogy search. It is open to the public. Enjoy!

Attended here to take graduation photos. Not a member of the church. The garden surrounding the fountain had a few dead plants that needed to be picked up and tossed away. Otherwise, beautiful building and beautiful area to take pictures at.

This place is always a good place to go and think, even if you spend your time outside. You can walk along the grounds and enjoy the beauty that we have that was created for us. My nieces and nephews love the spot where if you stand in the right spot, your voice is echoed back to you, no matter how quietly you speak. There is also the free family history center if you are interested in your genealogy.

The temple was beautiful and serene. I felt closer to the Lord as I walked on the grounds and entered the sacred building.

This place is so beautiful. It’s a nice adaptation of the six spire design and fits in with the Vegas architectural norm.

Nestled in the mountainside and not very visible to traffic from afar. This is a beautiful, cozy temple.The surrounding grounds, while not huge, are picturesque.

Visitors, like me, can walk in the temple grounds and take pictures, they just ask that you dont smoke in the premises. The view is amazing though. You can actually see the strip from it.

How could anyone deny the grace, peace, and beauty that are contained at this site. Im so happy to have been married for time and all eternity at this temple. If anyone wants to know how family continues after death, come see the visitor center and see just how wonderful our Father in Heaven is to have provided a way for our happiness forever.

Beautiful Temple. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a fabulous church that doesnt discriminate. They have the answers to my questions of why we are here and where we go after death. Questions that other churches cant answer. They also acknowledge there are many good people that attend other churches. And that we all come from the same kind and loving Heavenly Father that loves each and every one of us equally.

Beautiful temple, inside and out. Landscaping is immaculate. Architecture is heavenly. Peaceful, quiet, nice place to sit and ponder or pray. Any one can go into the foyer and enjoy the artwork and the the atrium or sit on the couches and chairs there, but you need a temple recommend to go further inside.

I love visiting the temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This location is a beautiful building, both inside and out. However I found the entrance and building lighting and in the parking lot to be dim at night. Wanted to take some pictures after going with my nephew for his first time and all the photos turned out dingy.

Ive been a member my whole life. Ive been to the temple countless times. Today was the most rotten experience that Ive had. We did sealings and the sealer was prideful, rude, and short with everyone. We didnt feel the spirit. Its too bad, we like this temple. I talked to one of the counselors in the temple presidency. There needs to be a change if we are going to continue going to the temple.

I visited here for my cousins wedding. It was lovely on the outside and even nicer on the inside. The waiting room was special and peaceful. And the welcoming people were very kind. I would definitely come back next time Im in town.

Just drove 100 miles by myself to get here. I was so looking forward to the peace of the Celestial room. Well it was not there. Only a few people were there but two ladies on a couch and two lady temple workers were talking so loud that I left in tears. What a disappointment!!

We absolutely loved it... Of course everyone was so nice and helpful... We went on the 2nd of January 2020 so it was a little busy, but so worth it... Its a beautiful temple and has everything you need, all bit it a little smaller accomodations than other temples, but still considered a ”full service” temple... You wont be disappointed

Amazing spiritual place. Wonderful grounds. Very friendly staff and patrons especially at the Family History Centre. The grounds were welcomed with the watering of the grass it eased the 104 degree heat. The Temple looks amazing and the white stonework stands out with the spires and the bright golden Moroni shines out. Well worth the time for s visit.

Such a beautiful temple. The feeling of peace is so prevalent there. I love going to the temple and feeling the spirit of my Savior, Jesus Christ.

All people are welcome to walk around around and enjoy the beautiful temple grounds. Beautifully manicured flower gardens and the sound of cooling water fountains adds to the beauty.The smaller annex building on the West side is a family history center with volunteers who will assist as you search your for family history and ancestry from many different countries and cultures.

You can feel the love of God here so strongly. What a wonderful place.

This latter day saint classic small temple design has strategically positioned large windows. There is also a clothing rental area inside the temple that accepts cash or debit. Lockers are free to use and the grounds are kept neat. There are areas outside the temple that make great picture backdrops. Also, there are specific acoustic areas right outside several entrances. These can be used to sing hymns or Christmas hymns. The design is very similar to the Lima Peru temple and other temples across the world erected in the 70s and 80s. It is a very peaceful and quiet area. Love it.

Not only are the grounds spectacular and immaculate, the views are awesome. The sacred ordinances are the bonus.

Beautiful building and grounds. Its somewhat different from a normal Latter-day Saint house of worship, because visitors cant go inside the building. However, if youre looking for a peaceful and lovely place to walk around and take pictures, this is a great place to visit.

The grounds are beautiful! The parking lot was very full, but we were able to find a spot. We spent some time walking through the grounds. It was very peaceful, well maintained, and beautiful. It is a blessing to those who go to gain peace and service there. I loved seeing the different plants, and the warm weather was very nice.

Very peaceful and spiritual place to visit. Just walking around the grounds is calming. The inside is exquisite and one of my favorite LDS temples.

Visitors are welcome to walk around the grounds, even when the facility is closed. Its open, peaceful, and lovely environs are a nice contrast to the bustling city. Public restrooms and a family history center, with family history experts eager to help, are open Tuesday through Saturday each week.

Nice place... People who arent LDS (Mormon) can check out the grounds but not go in. There echo spots in circular areas on the path around...

The Las Vegas Nevada Temple is the 43rd operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The temple was announced by church leaders in April 1984. Located in the Sunrise Manor CDP near Las Vegas, Nevada, the temple sits on 10.3 acres of land at the base of Frenchman Mountain.

Peace can be found here. This is a place of refuge and tranquility where you can feel the presence of heaven.

This place is worth stopping by and walking around the grounds if you are not able to go in side. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Once you are inside, you feel an overwhelming sense of peace and relief.
