Storage lot /Dump. The exact type of place we tried to avoid our entire cross country trip! Avoid at all costs. Surrounded by barbed wire fence in undesirable part of town. Police sirens can be constantly heard. Site is a gravel parking lot less desirable than most self storage lots and so small we couldn’t extend our awning. Worst rv park we have stayed at throughout our entire 2 month trip. Cant believe people pay money to join a club to stay at a place like this. AVOID!

This has been the best experience we’ve had with any Thousand Trails campground. The sweet ladies who work here have been so accommodating and helpful. They got us in early on our reservation because we showed up a day early running from the wildfires, we would have been thrilled with overflow parking but they got us an actual spot which was amazing. When we pulled up we found our water spigot was broken and they had it fixed within minutes of calling. It’s a great location in the city as you can see The Strip from the pool. We can’t wait to come back!

The grounds are well maintained, (be aware 7 AM loud lawn mowers yikes!) but spaces are way too close together. Restroom/showers need some help aesthetically. Noisy, very noisy, at night. BUT you could not find a nicer, more hospitable, staff. They are SUPER! They get definitely 5 stars!

We had a good experience here. It is a bit tight, as others point out, but doable. We have a big rig. Staff were very friendly and the park was clean. Easy drive to the Strip... parking is still free in the oversized lots of the Stratosphere and Rio.

The workers at this particular Thousand Trails are all very friendly and accommodating. The location of this rv park is within 5 miles of downtown and the strip but its also a bit of a rougher side of town. We have young kids and have been on the road for 3 years across the country. This is so far the only thousand trails resort that I felt nervous about the crime in the area. Its no fault of this parks own but rather its an older park in an older side of town. We enjoy our thousand trails membership and were excited to see Las Vegas. Thanks for helping us out TT Las Vegas!!

An okay place to visit Las Vegas. Very crowded, extremely limited areas for pets. Apparently management doesnt have to follow the same rules as the guests. You will be awakened by the landscape crew before quiet hours end in the AM. There is quite a bit of city noise but thats to be expected in an area like this.

As TT members and first timers to Vegas we pulled in not knowing what to expect based on the mixed reviews. The good: The customer serivce was amazing, and that is an understatement. Front gate guard rode around with us to find a spot to fit our rig then helped get us settled in. Office staff went above and beyond to answer our questions and help when we needed to extend stay due to slide issue with our RV. Extra special shout out to Mark in the office who found our sons backpack (with money in it) after we left and shipped the bag for NO COST to us at our next stop. Grateful there are still honest and good people out there! Bathrooms were clean, pool was clean and heated. Considering the park is located in a sketchy area of the city, we never felt unsafe being that it was gated with a guard on duty at all times.Only negative I have to say about the park is that the spaces are tight. We have a 40ft fifthwheel and had to ask 3 other campers to move their vehicles so we could maneuver our behemoth into the spot. All in all the spot is close in proximity (15 min drive) to the strip, 30 mins to Red Rock for epic hiking, and a little over an hour to Valley of Fire for even more hikes.

I would echo other reviews that spaces are tight. But, lots of big rigs in park. Unfortunately, lots and lots of jets flying directly overhead all day and night. Disappointed at park. This is not a resort! Its more like a storage facility with a lot of long time residents with older RVs. They are parked so close together that in many sires you cant even open your awning. Many of the picnic tables are actually falling apart or look bad. This is a shame for this to be in such a tourist area and to be in this shape. Thousand Trails could make this a beautiful park. Many parks in the area are the same....parking lots. It would be great for members and Thousand Trails image to improve this park. On the bright side, the staff is great!

Stayed at the RV park. Park isn’t in very good shape. Most of the workers were very friendly. My problem was I needed to get some work done on my RV. Parts had to be ordered and would have put me 3 or 4 days past my 2week stay time. I requested to stay longer and offered to pay a daily rate. The park is less than half full. As soon as my membership is up I will be done with them.

Guard gate staff was kind at check-in. They also manually opened the gate on several occasions during our stay after we presented our tow car parking pass. Office staff was also fantastic. Very cramped back-in sites with limited tree cover. Park is located in an extremely rough section of town. We went to the Albertsons on Nellis Blvd and there were about a dozen homeless people loitering outside the entrance. Upon exiting with our groceries we immediately noticed 2 officers handcuffing someone right next to our car. Danger alert! The park also had a fair amount of young tattoo-clad scary looking individuals strolling about. The sight of these folks did not inspire feelings of safety. Activity center had a large TV with cable and the air conditioning was excellent. Too bad that a large group of boisterous adult buffoons who showed up to gamble ruined our experience. We observed one woman in the activity center chatting at length with a staff member, so they are likely full-time residents. Please learn some respect for others! Restroom 3 had the worst washers and dryers that we have encountered in over a year of full time RVing. Washer did not spin hardly any water out of the clothes and dryer had almost no heat. The best thing about our stay was the Jabba wifi. We paid extra for this and it worked great at our site. TIP: Go to the Watermill Express station up the road near Shell for water refills. The generous pouring mechanism actually gives you a full gallon of water (unlike most places.) This Thousand Trails park could use some improvement.

Friendly and Helpful - Great staff. The campground is narrow and tight, but safe; you need a safe place to stay in Vegas. Watching people pulling RVs into their site was more entertaining than watching Hulu... in most cases. Be prepared to have/ask for the bathroom code upon arrival. Bathroom #1 could use a major overhaul update, but was the only bathroom that had grab bars in the shower. Bathrooms #2 & #3 were updated and clean. However, I would recommend grab bars in the shower area to avoid slipping; especially considering the age-range of most people here. I guess it is good that there is an ADA bathroom which is dingy....could use some bleach and new paint, as well as a new floor; preferably non-slip... but separate yet equal?? Really... in the year 2020! The picnic area is a great place for day use - hanging out & grilling; yet no pets allowed in area, so somebody had to hang out in the car in order to adhere to no unattended pets. The RV sites are pebble; still wheelchair friendly. We enjoyed socializing w/ the other patrons w/ stories and commonalities of where they have traveled and which Thousand Trails people have been to. The location of Vegas Thousand Trails gives you access to most everything you would need nearby, or within 1 mile.

Thousand Trails was a mixed bag. Security was very lax. They let in every body. We lost our vehicle pass early on. They let us in 5 out of 6 times with no challenge. The one time we were challenged, we explained we lost it and they let us in without replacing it. When we made our reservation, the pool was closed, but it reopened for the last evening of out stay. The laundry rooms and showers were adequate, bit older. The cabins looked very nice, but pricey. Our dogs enjoyed the dog area, and we enjoyed not being micromanaged. All the interactions we had with staff and other guests were friendly.

Cant even open the fridge and get water to stay cool bc you dont want to let the cool air out. They dont pass anything out either just drive around saying its temporary. It takes our air 3 hours to get caught back up! Whats happening here? Get it together. They also have issues with the water. Shut it off once a week at least with no warning. Bad from the moment we got there planned a 10 day visit to Vegas. Thousand Trails need to do some serious work here. They cater to people that live on site. Cars and trucks blocking roads. Cannot believe one of the guys at the guard shack wanted me to place my 30 foot trailer in a maybe 20 foot spot, but could not because of all the cars and trucks parked around. 2 years after joining spending 1200.
