If youre desperate, and you managed to scrape a little bit of money together so you dont have to sleep in your car, this place is still barely doable. It was dirty, the sheets were terrible, and opening the door with the card took a feat of prestidigitation. Worst of all, the walls are super thin, and the crack head above us was slamming around in his room all night. Super fun...Next time, Ill just stay in my car.
Everything was clean and great! Check in/out was fast and easy. It was a bit noisy for the area but thats just the area its in plus theres a bar down stairs so theres that. Still pretty great rooms for the price.
This is where I always stay when I come to Vegas now. Its close to everything I need. I cant wait till the Raiders stadium is built, Ill be staying here at the Highland for the games. 24 hour bar is the best. When your on your way just look for the Silverton casino, its across the street. The rooms are big and comfortable with rates that fit my budget.
Never stayed here. But It seems like a quite place
If it possible, I want to give negative star.I paid $90.4 for one night but motel officer(man who was at office in Sept.22 / 2020 around 6:40 pm) he cancelled my transaction (voided my payment) and he said it will be in your bank in a next business day.He was chassis me and want to bit me . stupid man.
Older motel but rooms were clean, key card didn’t always work. Ron who checked us in was amazing. Great little bar there! I would stay there again.
I was pleasantly surprised. Check in was easy and excellent, and staff was very cordial and helpful. The room and the bathroom were super clean a real plus for me. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I had a good nights rest. The floor was very clean also. The property was very quiet.
It was cheap. Thats what i liked. And the area was not terrible *no homelss
Ot was ok
Eh and then when you check out they want to stiff you 4 the deposit.
Clean and a good location but very loud. Planes, trucks, bar fights, and if anyone is above you, youll never sleep. No soundproofing of any kind to side guests or above you.
We were led to believe the motel was pet friendly and they dont accept pets at all. Midnight is not the time to find this out.. we then zpent oved an hour trying to find a hotel that accepted pets that wasnt full.
Ok motel at a ok price. Shouldve paid 20 more bucks and stay on the strip. You can literally feel people walking on the 2nd floor, it sounds really loud and the ceiling makes cracking sound every time someone moved upstairs. The AC/heater unit is insanely loud.
It was easy to find. Right off the freeway. Nothing special. But for a cheap one night stay it worked.
That motel was a hot ghetto mess. At least they could have put a microwave in the room. It smelled like old cigarettes and the cable channels were not all there. The prices are very over the top and highway robbery. If it wasnt for the last minute situation i wouldnt had rented from them.
The front desk completely botched the billing and because of a language barrier, I was unable to completely straighten out this mess and had to pay for the entire stay twice and then request a refund. Both charges have gone through, the refund has not.
That place was in a great location store restaurant gas station I love it close to that freeway 10 minutes away from Las Vegas bl
I stay here one weekend a month. My favorite place to stay. Im originally from Las Vegas and not fawn of the whole tourist thing. Its clean, staff is great and located close to gas, food, bar, and freeway. Not as expensive as the other hotels.
Cheap compared to everything else when we went - still expensive as it was July 4th. Had to switch rooms because the first reeked of smoke. We spent all of 30 seconds in it. It was a non smoking room and apparently the person in it the night before was kicked out for smoking. Another guest was complaining about smoke smell at the same time. We both got moved. Second room was clean, but I thought it still had a faint smoke smell. Could have been my imagination. The desk attendant was accommodating and understanding the whole time getting us moved.Really far out off the way so you need to pay for an Uber or taxi or something if you dont drive / dont want to park on/near the strip or where youre going.
Worth the stay, very clean room, great shower, nice quick stay
Room waa clean. Bit noisy outside. Overall not bad.
Really nice place for a good price.
Close to T/A on Dean Martin wy.,not much close. Worth the time outta the truck.
New flooring in the rooms, rooms were a good size and had everything you need
It was a nice clean room and the staff was friendly
I like it! Very high quality internet, better than I have at home. Everything was clean, really nice & big flat-screen TV, nice amenities like a fridge, a desk, and soft towels. Staff was friendly. Great value.
People were totally rude at the front desk I ordered a handicap accessible room definitely not what I got
Fair prices. Room is worth the price. Off the strip and next to Hywy 160. Great jump off point for Red Rock Canyon, (fantastic), Parhump and Front Site training facility, (also super good facility).
Good for the money, Clean. Nice overall. Not much to add. This 50 characters minimum is bothering.
Originally thinking this property would be in a desolate area, everything that I needed (Starbucks, Dollar Tree, In-N-Out, 99 Cent Only Office Depot) was close by. The place is an easy on and off from I-15 and the soundproofing needs a little work.
It was worth the money nice clean rooms, really closeto the strip, we will defiantly stay here again.
The person checking us in just asked for payment, didn’t check ID or anything, didn’t give me a receipt, just seemed less than professional. We were then given keys to a room that was already occupied. Switched rooms and our room was pretty stinky, cigarette burns on almost every surface. I also got shocked when trying to open the mini fridge, some sort of electrical wiring issue, I’m assuming.
This place is awesome! They got everything you need; casino right down the street, Las Vegas outlets not to far, gas stations right across the street, little hole-in-wall bar next to lobby, the owners and staff are really cool. I work nights and they have been really patient with me. The rooms are nice and clean with a big tv. I will definitely be coming back here next time work in this area
Dirty. Bad Customer service terrible Staff rude very noisy area
Place stinks with cigs though it says non smoking room.Arrived late and place looks dark!! Had to cancel...have smoke allergies.
No microwave in the room but bed is very comfortable..good location, staff is very nice. Would definitely stay here again.
This place is a study in contrasts. The staff is friendly. My room key didnt work. It is conveniently located. There is a bar in the parking lot which is frequented by bikers. There is a nice mini fridge. One of my washclothes was dirty. The AC worked great, there was construction adhesive on several walls which looked like disgusting snot (really glad it was adhesive). The price is right, its convenient, but I wouldnt stay here with my kids.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient.
Great Great place for a casual meeting with an Internet date Starbucks inside
Office staff was friendly and accommodating. I had paid online for 3 nights but needed to check out after just one. They were kind enough to cancel my initial payment and re-bill for just the one night. Wasnt a fan of the office being smoke filled, however. I was a little apprehensive of what it would be like being a motel and half the cost of any hotel. But, when I opened the door to my room, I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and nicely decorated. Had a fridge, WI-FI and very comfortable beds with clean crisp linens and towels. The turn off was the shower that was old and repaired with PVC pipe and the noisy traffic. Dont know why. It wasnt on a very busy street. Overall, I was pleased and would stay here again.
Very clean and wonderful staff. Thank you
WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed in! When we arrived there was food in our room, 3 big peep holes in the curtain to the outside window, the towels had stains and looked like they weren’t washed, there was NO hot water, and we got locked out of our room with our things inside because they deactivated the key early! This place is priced WAY too high for how bad it is! There are much cleaner places for much cheaper! This review requires 1 star to post, but this place gets “0” stars from us!
I had no issues with this place it was mostly quiet for its location.
They kick me out couse some random called and say they was a guest. they start telling me abowt police and wall policy. and in 5 min i was out.
They have a saloon here. The bartender on duty told me when I asked for lime with my shot of Petrone silver to take my shot like a big boy. I waited because I thought she was kidding for my lime. It’s not appropriate for a bartender in anyway shape or form to not give a lime when requested with the shot. Yes she gave me my shot for free but from someone who makes 120,000 year I don’t really care about a free shot I wanted to be how I asked for it. If I could give zero stars I would.
Nice place to stay overnight if you are continuing your trip to Vegas or beyond the next day. Also, there is a beautiful farmers market just a Mile away from here
Decent and not exorbitant like most LV places.
I was passing through Las Vegas on I-15 and needed a clean room for the night with good wifi since I use-the internet for my business. Above all, I wanted to stay away from the Strip. The room fit the bill, and the manager was very pleasant and helpful. The independently operated hole-in-the-wall bar next to the motel office was also a pleasant surprise with albeit simple drinks, but a touch of real Americana. Ill stay again the next time I pass through Las Vegas.
Convenient to food and gas. Near Siverton casino.
Good heater and firm bed.Dirty shower curtain little soap.
I love staying at this place great people concerned about Making things nice for you. But I do not understand why they do not provide. Good large towels. Several times I have stayed they provided a couple of hand towels. I am a professional driver so I carry a lot towels any way no big deal to me that the only thing is see that they need to improve on Pro
Great hotel! Good pricing and location. Room was clean and had a fridge! Service was great, usable wifi.
Always a great place to stay
Room had funky smell fridge never got cold carpet left socks dark colored decent shower .great view from room 305 of the rusty spur saloon.....
Not a place to sleep during the day between flights in early September as the air conditioning cant compensate for the outside hear. We could get the room cooler than 80F° until after sunset. Friendly staff, just too outdated for the heat of where it is located.
It was clean. The area is a little sketchy. The guy at the front desk was a little surly. What concerned me list though was that the housekeeper left our door wide open all day/night!
Not worth the cost..you cant have visitors unless you call the office and give them the visitors license plate # and car type. You would think the man in the office was working for.mgm grand the way he likes to keep an eye out..night stand had burn marks on it too. Everything else was okay. Definitely wont be returning.
This is a hidden gem in las vegas. I found The hotel was amazingly close to the strip. There was no resort fees no parking fees easy on easy off of I 15 . The price was amazingly a good value the staff was very efficient and helpful . The room was very clean a king bed was a California king huge bed . I travel for business purposes quite frequently now that I found this little gem I will stay here all the time.
The staff are kind and professional. The room was neat and clean. There was no hot water in the shower......
Room was clean and was available unlike 95% of the motels in the area because of a marijuana convention that was in town this weekend, so for that i was thankful that after 5hr ride we were finally able to get some rest. I gave 3 stars because, unlike i was told by the csr who took my call before we arrived, they did not accommodate big rigs which played an integral part in us staying there. Because the didnt have parking fir our truck, we had to park 5 long blocks away and, walk back to the motel. It was vold and windy last night and the wind chill from passing cars had to bring the outside temperature of 41°down to at least 30°. Needless to say, we were pretty much semi frozen when we did get our room which was inviting, clean and warm. No microwave so we couldnt heat up our dinner kinda sucked but we lived none the less. I would recommend Highland Inn to anyone who needs a room, but not if you are driving a big rig as they do not have parking for it.
This is not some new resort, but certainly not a dump either. Not particularly fancy, however it was really clean and was at least as nice as the resort down the street that I was going to stay at last night...only real difference is that the price was about half. If you are looking for a place to sleep here in Vegas and dont care for the glitz of a casino, this place is hard to beat!
Availability at the last minute due to overbooking at preferred hotel
Nice room. Close to airport. Great for our early flight out.
Great rooms best price I could find and quiet nice and clean rooms look nice office is nice and friendly and not a lot of scratchy people felt safe.
Good place to rest
All the way in blue diamond however its pretty nice its a bar right next to the check in office. Pretty quiet place to be across from a truck stop and the Silverton casino is within walking distance.
Las Vegas baby what else is there to say!!
Bob and Ron at the Front were pretty nice and welcoming despite my constant schedule changes, room was clean and in general the area was quiet, even with a bar in the parking lot
It was a comfortable place, and the price was right!!!
Its ok for what it is. Clean bed and clean shower. TV in room and internet. Refrigerator in room.
Looks like a crack motel, people everywhere in the doorways just looking out and watching.
Little spendy 226 $ for 2 nights & no microwave in any of the rooms & room was fine bed a little on the hard side
A good place to stop and rest, my stay was very short so not much to say.
Staff is nice. I like being able to park right outside my door.
Clean, very friendly..cant ask for more when you are a truck driver, you have truck parking across the street at the TA. Casino walking distance with other places to walk. Will come stay here again.
Price gouging 280 bucks for one nite when it like normally 60 a nite so bad
The bartenders rock, quiet and great service Sunday used to be my funday here
Not a problem at all. Comfortable bed. HBO and Starz. Would stay again.
Perfect spot to stay for the night. Has everything you would need, clean room, mini fridge, shower, bed, and tv at a good price.
Clean room, but it smelled like a cattle yard! Manager said we couldnt change rooms because motel was fully booked, although parking lot was less than 1/2 full. He said maybe someone smoked in the room and tried to cover it up. With cow manure?!!! There was no scent of cigarettes, just something that smelled like manure. Dont stay here unless you like sleeping with the cows.
I advise you not spend ANY money here. Didnt mention the $100 cash deposit before i booked the room. Had to cancel because they wouldnt take credit.
Cheap rooms great if youre just trying to have a quick one-night stand for under of two hundred bucks
Stayed overnight, last minute. Girlfriend accidentally booked a smoking room, and after a bit of back and forth, the night clerk put us in a non-smoking room. Room was clean, if not a bit shabby, and the door was off-kilter (had to be lifted slightly to latch closed). Rowdy guests, and odd smells withstanding, this hotel does not appear to be family friendly, as the office is also a bar/saloon...
Very dated back to the 1970s, rooms very small and smell like cigarettes. If you want the old Vegas feel then you will feel comfortable here
Very nice place recommend to visitor or truck driver It right across from the TA truck stop and near by casino
Crappie motel but you get what you pay for but the rusty spur bar in the parking lot is amazing!
About 15 minutes from the strip, this motel is a great place to stay for anyone who wants to see Las Vegas and not have to break the bank doing so.
Great location off the beaten path. Close to tons of shopping and not to far from the strip.
My g/f and I have stayed numerous times at this facility and havent had any problems. I mean beyond what youd expect from a place across from the sleaziest T/A Truckstop in America! You expect what you pay for and they deliver a fine product. The rooms might not be steril clean, but the beds are comfortable. The coffee is strong and hot. And the people are friendly enough. If you want all the comforts of home, stay there, these guys do a good job Oh, and if you got bed bugs on your visit, they probably crawled outta your britches....
Nice clean reasonable rooms, I will be back.
Good customer service and clean room. Good price too
This place is a dump. After getting out of the shower and walking across the carpet to get my clothes, my feet were black!!!? ! I stayed here because I didnt want to stay in a big hotel/casino. The lady who checked us in and took payment was inconsiderate and grumpy. I would have saved more money staying at the Silverton across the street. Should have been a no brainer just by looking at the place. Oh well, live and learn...
Avoid this place at all costs. We made a reservation in advance, and even called to confirm and was told our room was ready. When we booked the room we were told that we would be paying 64$. When we got there, they said no rooms were available and that we did not have a reservation. After complaining, the indian man behind the counter who barely spoke english said they would try to accommodate us and placed us in a smoking room that smelled like cigarettes and chemical air freshener. They then charged over $110 dollars to my credit card without my permission, this is honestly the worst hotel room we have ever had the displeasure of staying at.
I was attending CES 2009 and needed an inexpensive place to stay as I was paying for it myself. The price was right, the room was clean and nice, free WiFi and coffee in the morning. Ill be back.
Over priced for what it is. The be bedspread was really bad and smelled awful...you could tell it hadnt been washed. The floors (carpet & tile) was so dirty it blackened my socks just walking to bathroom from bed.
Nice quaint motel outside of town
Good solid place; beds a touch hard
Good value, clean rooms. Would definitely return.
Great rooms, cant really complain about anything
