A little pricey at full price. Received 50% off by a coupon. Dolphins where awesome to watch. They had numerous toys for them to play with and they are very funny to watch. We got to the tiger section as they where changing out the tigers which was awesome to see. The staff at this place is extremely knowledgeable and love to answer any questions you have. Definitely a place to check out of you are an animal lover. Would recommend but maybe not at full price.
My partners first trip to Vegas and we stopped in to the Secret Garden. He loved it! Very informative and a great day activity. Also, they are doing a great job complying with COVID19 restrictions. Theyre even going the extra mile to monitor capacity. Im not certain, but I think theyre even able to contact trace, just given how theyre handling tickets at this time. Great job, guys!
This is a definitely appropriately named. It was confusing trying to find this Secret Garden and its pretty small, but for its location, I couldnt imagine it being larger since its literally on the Vegas strip. If youre visiting with small children, ticket prices are a little pricey for the limited amount of experiences that you get, but its worth seeing the excitement on your child’s face, if youre able to catch the dolphins. We actually missed the dolphin shows, but we had front row seats to watch the practice. Its amazing what I was able to catch on video and it was worth waiting an extra five minutes just to see this.
This was so fun! We went with our 12 month old who loved the dolphins. We watched two dolphin training sessions and it was definitely worth the $25. The tigers and other cats seemed very anxious around people and definitely preferred you not look at or attempt to interact with them. Honestly worse than our little local zoo’s cats. But the dolphins rocked!
Just as good as Sea World with 1/3 of the cost. There is not a bad place to see the dolphins. The trainers bring the action to you to see these wonderfully intelligent creatures. The habitats for the Big Cats are reasonably but I feel like they should be larger given the fact that this is Vegas. Very small enclosures for the Cats. However, its a good time for sure.
Up close and personal with all the animals on site. The dolphin training show was entertaining, educational and definitely something people of all ages will enjoy. If you have children, highly recommend to do to provide entertainment for them. The lions, tigers, and leopards were beautiful, fairly active and are close enough to almost touch. The grounds are managed well and kept very clean. Overall good but sadly short experience for the cost of entry.
My family and I had fun here were all adults. It was very informative about the Dolphins and it was nice seeing exotic big cats that we would never be able to see. It was good to get out of the casino for a while. You move at your own pace so youre not on a confined schedule. I was happy it was open with a lot of things being closed
One of the best hidden gems on the strip! Very cool to watch the dolphin training, and very interesting to learn about the big cats.
Had a wonderful time at the park, booked 2 free tickets with MyVegas app, paid for 1 at full price. The park is small with a few places to stop and see animals, most of the animals seemed very sleepy when we arrived for our 10am tickets. I dont think I would pay full price but, seeing as we received two tickets for free, I am satisfied with the visit.
The place is sooo small. Its really overpriced for what it is. It was cool to see the dolphins playing but the training session was like 5 minutes long and they gave you hardly no info about the dolphins or had them do much of anything. It was mostly just people who paid for the meet and greet petting amd taking pics of the dolphins. The sleeping tigers were pretty tho 2 of them were pacing up and down the fence so that was cool to see. The tigers seem well taken care of.
Loved watching the dolphins. The trainers did a wonderful job. The dolphins were very active and fun to watch.. The lions, tigers and leopards were amazing!!!
Twenty-Two dolphins have been confined to a life of unnatural and tragic existence since the “habitat” opening in 1990. Twelve have perished including babies and four wild caught. That’s an astonishing 55% death rate giving the facility the nickname of “The Dolphin Death Pool”.Just a reminder to never support this evil place.
This is always fun to visit, i just want ro pet the dolphins! Their tricks are pretty awesome to watch
This was a fun day activity located at The Mirage. The cost of $22 a person is a bit pricey for what you get, but I’m glad that I did it! We arrived about 2 hours prior to closing and the crowds were minimal. The employees at the ticket booths were personable and funny...they made us feel very welcomed. We got to see the dolphins during their feeding and also witnessed some light training. It would have been nice to see more from that aspect though. After checking out the dolphins, we walked through the area with the tigers and similar animals. This was definitely a cool start to our Vegas weekend. If you’d prefer to be more hands on, you can sign up to be a trainer for a day and swim with the dolphins.
Its well worth taking the time to visit the secret garden and Dolphin Habitat. There were no Shows happening but it was cool to see the trainers working with the dolphins. Dont forget to go to the underwater viewing area. The big cats looked Majestic even while sleeping. I enjoyed reading about the differences in the cats stripes and fur. Theres also info about Siegfried and Roy if youre interested. It was a beautiful day and I really enjoyed my time there.
Wife wanted to see tigers and we did, they had 2 in the viewing area. It was a nice stop to watch the dolphin show and the trainers that work with them.
It is always incredible. I took my son to see the dolphins and cats for the first time. He absolutely loved it!! Both of us did. Thank you for the great experience!!
Dolphin show was exciting. Lion and Tiger enclosures very clean and animals seem to be very well taken care of.
The staff is very friendly and clearly care about the animals very much. As you can see, the leopard is sleeping comfortable on its back. It was super fun to watch the dolphine training show every 30 minutes.
Nice and relaxing. The feeding dolphins show at 5:30 was fun! We used Mlife for 50%off for 2 tickets.
This is one of my favorite spots to visit in Las Vegas. The animals are always so interesting and fun to watch.
Rather disappointing to say the least. It was more like a overpriced patio than a garden. They had about 5 big cats that are much like your home cat, sleeping n dont bother me. The dolphins were interesting and did come up close. These poor animals are probably better off in a zoo.
Annual pass holder. We love it here. My daughter loves it. Dolphins and tigers.
We got there in time to see 2 training shows. Staff was very friendly and diligent to maintain safety
I love how safe the staff are with the dolphins, and the big cats. Theyre quick to point out something, for the sake of the safety of the animals there, and I respect that very much. I loved it there, and their gift shop isnt astronomically expensive either.
5 because you can be up close and personal without getting in the water for extra $. There are training shows to see the dolphins interacting which are fabulous and then the underwater viewing was also fantastic because again you were up close and personal. Habitats seemed clean and well taken care of. Look at the training schedules to make sure you time it right as the dolphins are wonderful...and there are two babies! Watching them swim with their moms was awesome. The lion and tigers were large and in-charge..not active during their non-show time nor would I be :). Beautiful and something one does not normally see I. Their travels. I am also glad % of proceeds go to continued research and support for the habitat and species in the habitat. I am always torn going to these or zoos as I don’t know if animals are better off or happier in these situations...but it does seem they are fed well and relaxing vs. pacing because of unhappiness or anxiety.
Its so great to see the dolphins up close and being able to see white tigers and lions. Thanks for the memories. I hope this never goes away!
Dolphins were so cute. Tigers were beautiful.
Love the animals beautiful little hidden treasure. Very well taken care of.
This is a hidden gem located at The Mirage. This was one of my choices for the 3 for $57 package. I was so glad to see the dolphins at a close proximity for the first time. The ambience at the dolphin habitat was so relaxing and watching the dolphins play was a treat. The trainers do a great job at handling the dolphins. The pool is actually a big aquarium and, there are places where guests can look at what these adorable beings do underwater. The habitat also offers interactive packages like painting with the dolphins and trainer for the day. The secret garden holds wild animals like the white lion, Bengal tiger, white tiger and a few other big cats. The weather was hot so, most of the animals were resting. The ones that were walking were majestic. It was actually sad to see all these animals confined to a small space. I hope they are taken care of. Overall, the secret garden and the dolphin habitat gave me some good memories for life.
Worth every single penny to watch the dolphins do tricks! The atmosphere and trainers make the Secret Gardens come alive. Would definitely visit again!!
Loved the animals. Up close for great pictures. Not very many tigers but it was still great. Not very crowded and can stay and watch the animals as long as you want.
Awesome, dolphins are beautiful and happy. Workers are great with the dolphins. Tugers are beautiful, wish they had a bit bigger area but beautiful
I loved seeing the animals. Watching the trainers with the dolphins was really nice too. Definitely would go back.
Def not worth 25$ entry fee. The tigers and lions look super bored. Their habitats are quite small. The dolphins on the other hand seem happy and playful.
Great place to spend a couple of hours on the strip. Lots of fun, pretty reasonably priced for being on the strip. They had a baby dolphin while we were there (Aug 2018). There’s a group of adult dolphins there too. The trainers are great, and they have staff around the enclosures that are very knowledgeable and super friendly. Lots of lions to see. It’s small but again pretty good for the strip. Enclosures are moderate size, pretty nice, and in good condition. Animals appear in good condition as well. Great for families with kids. Animals are pretty docile so it’s not scary for those with young children. There’s a short video on display about Siegfried and Roy, nothing epic. They have a gift shop. Overall good place to hang out for a few hours during the day, just don’t expect it to be Kruger Park.
We love going to see the big cats and the dolphins. The price is right for lots of fun.
Worth the price of admission, even more so if youve got kids along. We were feet from a dolphin for most of one of the training sessions (included for anyone to watch). Lots of cool pictures. The big cats were mostly active while we were there as well.
Very laid back exhibit, 2 big tanks that you can get right to the edge of that have the 11 dolphins. There is a shop with food and drinks as well as merchandise to buy. There is also a sitting area with a shade cover and misters to watch the dolphin tank. Further back there are the individually housed lions, tigers, and leopard. I believe the cost was $22 for adults but we did it as part of the 3 attractions for $57 package that MGM offers. It is all located outside by the mirage pool area.
After visiting the shark reef I was able to compare what I thought was entertaining. The scenery swept me off my feet. The price was cheaper and the shows were more fun filled. Sure I didnt get to view more species, but the dolphins hit home with laughter and friendliness. Even the lion and tigers, although they were not as amazing, it appealed to me more than shark reef. It could of been bigger, but that can be said for anything.
It was exciting Coming face-to-face with the animals at Siegfried & Roys Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. Present in the garden are Lion, Tigers and Leopards. The under water view of the Dolphins with the Reef was beautiful. As you walk down the Tunnel you see informative posters on Dolphins.Another beautiful sight was watching the trainers feed and play with the Dolphins.
So much fun! The dolphins are amazing!
Tickets are priced reasonable. It was great to see all the information about the dolphins. The training show with the male dolphins was very entertaining. Thought the one experience was wayyyy to much. Also the green screen pictures in the Lions habitat was overpriced. Seriously the pictures cost more that the entry for two adults. Children 3 and under are free. Kids 4-12 are 17 bucks. Adults are 22 bucks. Overall my family had fun.
Beautiful. Also met Siegfried walking around the secret garden .Great personality, talked to each of us, took pics with him and he did a magic trick for my nephew. . . . Animals are beautiful. However they seem lonely. ..... My nephew signed up for meet and greet dolphin experience. Very cool . ... Must see . Well worth the time and money spent .
Great experience big cats dolphins were amazing staff are great. Wonderful experience
AMAZING!!! Best money spent on the strip. Animals are excited to see people. Its a beautiful experience. Thank you mirage!!!
Come see the baby dolphin born August 2019. Dolphins were fun to watch. The tigers, lion, and leopards were beautiful. There is an under water viewing area. There is a snack bar and, of course, a gift shop. The misting heads kept us cool. $22 per adult, but we got in free using m-life coins.
Strict with covid outlines so you feel safe. Its small and it looks better on the pictures but still good
This place is one of Las Vegass hidden gems. The animals seem very happy and well taken care of. The enclosures are all very clean. Its a nice laid back place to spend an hour or two. Especially if youre tired of the Vegas hustle. Its a great place to take kids to and learn about sea life.
Not the widest range of animals to see but still a great experience for the family. We opted for the annual pass because we live here and was totally worth it!
Best time spent here. It has 22$ ticket and its worth every penny. The dolphin show is simply marvelous. Check timings for the dolphin show online and visit accordingly. Its a must see if you have not seen dolphin closely.
Great place to take kids, my 6 and 7 year old love it! We spent about 1.5 hours here, which included the dolphin show.
Peaceful. I love animals and the tiger habitat was wonderful and clean with lots of balls and stimulating toys for the animals. The dolphin show was fabulous and the underwater viewing tank great. While l was there got to meet Seigfreid. He is a wonderful man taking his time to talk with people. He even gave me a magic coin to keep for good luck. A very memorable afternoon.
Amazing! If you love dolphins and white tigers this is the best entertainment ever! I highly recommend it!
Easily the best attraction we visited in Las Vegas. Well worth the price, was able to spend well over an hour learning and interacting with dolphins. The staff was friendly and encouraged safe interactions. Great for adults and families, youre allowed to visit the entire day with one purchase. The Lions and tigers had great enclosures. Will definitely be visiting again
When in Vegas this is a gem. Right on the Mirage Resort. All ages will love the mini zoo and the spectacular Dolphin exhibit. Get up close and take in one of the interacting experiences. Something you will remember a lifetime. Snack food and gift shops, see the baby animal and dolphins playing.
Im so glad that we made time to visit Siegfried & Roys Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage in Vegas during the Labor Day weekend. Unexpectedly really cool place. They treat the animals with so much respect and kindness. There was also a lion and a couple of tigers. The dolphins were freely and happily swimming around in their large pool & temperature controlled water. We watched their feeding (coupled with training and recognition) time at 6:30 in the evening and every pair came up for their turn. Really enjoyed watching them! The staff was extremely knowledeable and friendly too.I found out during this visit that dolphins are very intelligent. They are notoriously talented mimics and quick learners; demonstrates self-awareness, problem-solving, and empathy, resourcefulness, grief, joy and playfulness. Oh and they can sleep with one eye and shutting down half of their brain while the other is alert, protecting themselves from any danger. How incredibly cool is that?
We got a chance to see many of the animals that were once part of the show, and met the legendary Mr. Siegfried himself! What a class act and genuine host. He could not have been more kind as a host! Something different to enjoy while in Vegas!
Inside the Mirage resort you Will find secret garden and dolphin sanctuary. With two dolphin polls the bachelor for male dolphin and nursery for female. There are access to underwater viewing area as well. When you enter the garden make sure if you have plastic bottled drink the caps are removed as its prohibited here. They have training session every 1 hour. The garden close at 5pm and the last entry is at 4pm. Once you pass the dolphin pools you will find the lion and tiger secret gardens. You will see selection of lion leopard and tiger. Its very relaxing and family friendly.
The dolphins are really active and the staff is interactive with guests. Good deal if you can get 2 for 1 on tickets.
A great attraction! Not a ton of animals, but a nice 1-2 hours if you take your time and watch a dolphin training/feeding session. The gift shops were surprisingly reasonable on most items and food wasnt outrageous, either! No kids on souvenir cups and you still pay $10 for a refill in it. Might as well get 2 souvenir cups for the $10! Only wish the adults would be nicer and allow children to see, as well.
I really wish I couldve pet the dolphins, but I understand why we couldnt.
The tigers and leopard are amazing. No wait and the dolphin exhibit astonishing. Remember to bring a fan since its hot or air mist thing
We came on a weekday and it was not crowded at all. Very relaxing, seems like all the animals are cared for well.
Makes me sad to see these exotic animals underwhelmed by us humans .... Bought a to go coffee cup, first day I used it, my coffee leaked out the bottom all over my desk. Hole was covered by the price sticker, complete waste of money, waste of coffee.......
We loved the nature there, it was beautiful! Seeing the baby dolphin was wonderful. Loved the animals too! Couldnt take enough photos/videos... :)
Beautiful day! Enjoyed the show kinda short and couldnt see everything!
My kids loved it! Definitely call ahead and get I think its (4 people) scheduled to actually interact with the dolphins for $150! I wish I had known in advance. The animals seem very well cared for and the triggers were playing with large balls in the water.
Oh my where to begin. I have officially fallen in love with these dolphin beauties. They are so fun to watch while the play and swim around. The underground observatory is exciting but extremely hot. They do training session so you can see them do tricks and see how they have been trained to act for health checkups. These animals are extremely smart. The wild cats were fun to see. But it was so hot and they were just not very active. Which I completely sympathize with. We were very hot as well with 100+ degree temps. Thankfully the park has many misters all over to give you a reprieve from the heat. And a snack at with food, soda and adult beverages . This will definitely be a stop anytime we are in Vegas. Hopefully next time I can feed and pet the dolphins myself. They offer this as well. Such a special time-great memories. 10*
It is a great day trip! It is amazing to see the animals up so close. I cant believe all of thatwas going on at a casino.
Very nice place to take the family if you like to watch dolphins do tricks and how they play around in the water. There is also an underwater viewing area with several large viewing areas to watch they swim around. If you show up later after 3pm and catch the later shows you will be in for a treat as well as the dolphins. This is feeding time for them and they go crazy for there food and is fun to watch.
Hidden toward the back of the Mirage hotel is a beautiful garden where you can see dolphins in there research and birthing area followed by a small zoo type area for lions, leopards and tigers. Must purchase a ticket to get in. $22 for adults and $17 for children. It was a nice change of pace from all the usual Vegas strip sites and activities!
This is definitely worth the price. The dolphins are very well trained and act a bit like dogs - they can do tricks on command and accept treats for them too! Also the big cats they have are magnificent and left me in awe. Must visit during the day time!
What a wonderful venue. Dolphins, tigers and leopards oh my!!! The prices are reasonable. They have water bottle refilling stations all over the property. They have a wonderful snack shop and gift shop. The dolphin shows are great. Be sure to get a spot right by the water. They have an underwater viewing area. The staff are amazing with the dolphins and are passionate about answering questions.
I was expecting more aninals to see, but there were just few. Three pools house around 10 dolphins near the entrance. But they dont really do tricks because its a dolphin research center rather than a dolphin show. When I went further in, I found the secret garden with some big cats. There were two white tigers, a regular tiger, a regular lion, a regular leopard and a black panther. Most of them were sleeping.
Definitely a good place to take the family to go see the price for this event well wroth it was too much
Beautiful..entertaining..animals.look healthy. We had amazing time
If you are staying at the Mirage Hotel in Vegas you couldnt ask for a handier and better priced attraction to visit. The dolphin training is fantastic to watch, with special option to personally meet some of the dolphins. The big cat section of the attraction is very nicely done, with the animals looking in great shape. Get yourself stamped and visit the attraction multiple times during the day for the price of one ticket! ;)
Not bad for the price (22/adult 17/child). Not the biggest enclosures and some boredom behavior but friendly staff said they are rotated throughout the day and have large private enclosures. Dolphins were a bit lack luster, but I grew up with SeaWorld/San Diego Zoo/Wild Animal Park. All in all, an entertaining hour or so.
Beautiful animals! We actually got to see Seigfried in person that day and he was so sweet. He did a magic trick for my brother and happily posed for photos with the whole family. Very charming man.
The cats are just like you, tried of all the heat. If you want to see them active you have to come when they open or when feeding time is 2 or 3 pm I believe. The dolphins have shows very frequently. We had a great time but it was very hot to be in the sun when we were there.
My heart was filled with joy and peace whilst in the midst of these beautiful creatures. I had such a draw to the dolphins especially being able to be so close to them! Surely a memory to be held for a very long time!
Not what I was expecting, hardly any animals and the dolphin show was a joke. Not worth the money.
Very knowledgeable staff. Great experience
A must see. Great for children and adults. Might be lucky and snag an autograph while visiting.
While its neat to see dolphins and exotic animals up close, the Secret Garden is overpriced (even by Strip standards) with far too few exhibits. There is the dolphin pool and four big cat cages, thats it. It took us about twenty minutes to go through the entire thing. Unless you get a REALLY good deal on tickets, do not waste your time and money here.
Great experience! The staff were highly informative about all of the animals and very friendly. The dolphins and white tigers were amazing! Great place to go and just relax for awhile when your on the strip. Highly recommend!
Overall, great experience. Take some time to talk to the employees at the lions and tigers exhibit. They can give you more info on the animals. Dolphin training shows were good. The Males was a bit more entertaining than the Females. You can purchase an experience to meet the dolphins as well. It will be part of the training show. Original cost of tickets was $23 a person, I purchased them for $17 with a discount. For the price I got, it was worth it
The absolute worst ... the employee were absolutely terrible, inconsiderate and took away our whole experience we payed exactly $175 to enter and pet dolphins for exactly 5 mins... while another family had about 20mins. Not to mention it is 97 degrees outside and my mom has high blood pressure she was approached 5 times, even while following the rules of sitting under the table where the employee said it is okay to remove a mask. We were harassed and antagonized.
Cool place $22 adult ticket, well worth it. The people and trainers are SUPER nice and very informative. We really enjoyed our experience.
The dolphin show was cute and they currently have a baby dolphin. The animals change in the afternoon so its worth going in the morning and the afternoon to see all the different animals.
What the dolphins can do is amazing! Really smart and beautiful animals. The show was great!
This exhibit was amazing! It was well coordinated and of course very fun, the dolphins were jumping around and having as much fun and we where watching them. The training sessions where fun to watch because we could watch the female dolphins swim around, clap, and do little flips the male dolphins paint, do flips, smile etc. I would totally recommend this place.
Peaceful respite amidst the chaos of the strip. Beautiful animals. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and trainers.
Paid for the VIP tour for my kids & I at 11AM. It was an awesome experience. You get to feed the dolphins and do little tricks with them. You get a little behind the scenes tour and go to places others dont have access too!! My kids & I learned a lot during our tour. I was a group of 5 and i got 5 pictures included in the tour as well.
Abit on the expensive side... Dolphins are great to see. Only one big cat per cage and not as big as it once was in early 2000. I Understand that big cats need their beauty sleep but when they are all sleeping its a bit disappointing to view the big cats.with all the money this casino makes they could make this such awesome Attraction for families. Sorry its miss for me next time until further improvement.
