The Christmas Light display is back up and as wonderful as ever. We were surprised to see the return of the ferris wheel and a flying elephant ride. We go to Largo Central Park for their 4th of July fireworks as well and we have never been disappointed. My kids and I wore masks but we noticed many people didnt. Its important to remember that on nights when it gets crowded there that you are packed in tight in some spots. So try and enjoy the lights carefully and wear your mask. With many traditional activities changed or canceled this year the Lights at Largo Central Park remain open to be enjoyed responsibly. We will be returning again as we do every year.

This is a great playground to say the least. With everything from slides and swings to rock walls spinning toys race cars and mary go rounds. My son had a great time playing here and we will most definitely be returning over and over. One of the best parks weve been to in this area so far. Recommend this to any and all with kids any age.

Wonderful park. Christmas tradition for our family to stroll through the park which is entirely covered with Christmas lights. In recent years they have added a ferris wheel and another ride this year. I hope they dont go for much more commercialism as the park is quietly amazing at night with no hype or carnival atmosphere. The park also has a fantastic playground and a library.

Love taking my future step son here. The police do a good job patrolling the area. Lots of kids and friendly parents. They have excellent holiday events here, particularly the Christmas stuff.

This place is amazing for small kids. So much stuff to play on. Best part is its free!

Many activities are scheduled throughout the year, first week of the month there is a miniature train that travels around the park with trips for the kids, and the military honor circle is a must see.These are swings that allow babies and parents to securely face each other while both swinging and a free wooden train ride that tours the park (about 10 min long) the first weekend of each month

Beautiful park downtown Largo great place for kids to play. Full of magnificent trees. When in normal times park offers many activities, like outside movies and various other activities during the year. Wow! Do they put on a Christmas lights show. Theyre also right by the theater and 2 story Largo library. Good place to picnic and yes they have grills..... You can even reserve areas for family events.

Largo Central Park is a great place for the little ones. I take my daughter and niece there for fun and for some of their holiday events. Christmas has been a must for the family since the first time we went. The only downfall is how people treat the park, which seems to have gotten better over the past couple of years. Enjoy!

The park is a hot spot for holiday fun. Carnival and light displays awesome. Good place to hunt pokemon. The city keeps the park well maintained.

This is my most favorite park! It is large with several size activities for the kids and it is very clean the bathrooms are large with several stalls and is also very clean. Plus they have several walking trails with picnic areas and dog walking areas. This place is definitely a go to when I wanna get the kids out the house.

I’ve come to this park since I was little and always loved it. They have a massive playground for any kid! They have a cute train that drives around the park also.I came here for the Christmas lights and they were amazing!! They do it annually and they never fail to disappoint. They have the options for snacks like popcorn and also have fair-esque rides like a ferris wheel during Christmas.

With the Holidays coming, we enjoyed walking around and seeing the lights. Dec 12 and 13 the miniature train will be running. There are also other community events each month.

It was okay I just think they are allowing too much freedom in the playgrounds with this virus going on and everything but other than that Largo Central Park is definitely the spot if you live in Largo if you dont live in Largo

One of the best parks in the Tampa Bay are! Whether you are looking for a beautiful walk, play some Pokémon Go, take the kids to a park where there are fields for tuning and an awesome playground, memorials, reflection ponds, bird watching, or just a family picnic, this park is what you’re looking for.The first weekend of every month they have their trains running which is something you HAVE to see.The park does get crowded but today it was nearly empty and it was absolutely surreal.

Really neat Christmas light display. Its nice to have something for the family after the sun goes down, especially seeing as this is a sun time fun town.

This park is so beautiful and well kept. Today was a Halloween event for the kids. Free train rides with all the Autumn decoration makes it even more lovely. Such a peaceful experience each time I visit.

We picked a beautiful afternoon, light breeze, birds chirping. The maintenance workers are getting ready for Christmas hanging all the lights in the trees and doing a fabulous job. A round of applause for them all !

Largo Central Park is a special place. The playground is massive and the train enthusiasts who operate the train are amazing. Kara, who works for the city, and her team put on a great Halloween train event. Safe and fun for the family. We can’t wait to participate in future events.

Beautiful park with lots of open space and amenities. My kids LOVE the playground and regularly ask to make a special trip there. The only complaint I have is that the playground area is fully fenced in, but lacking gates. If it had gates it would be a moms dream.

The park is the best in Pinellas but the teenagers running full speed in around all the equipment where little ones are is ridiculous. There needs to br a ranged there at ALL times. The swings are being destroyed by the very big teenagers. The bathrooms are always a disaster.

This is most likely the best park in all of Pinellas County everything is kept up really well there are always great events during the holidays taken place and the playground is top-notch modern and big. There are plenty of places to have a picnic either in a covered area with benches or out open in the field the field itself is large enough to fly a kite and do almost anything you could think of.

Great place take a walk, nice scenery, peaceful for bicyclists, families, time alone, couples, walking the babies, events, and decorations.

Largo Central Park is One of the best parks I’ve ever been to! My kids absolutely love it and there are always local events there. It’s very well-maintained and there are areas for all ages. There’s a strong sense of community in this area. The open meadow is great for outdoor sports, and there are a lot of rental options as well for special events.I love that it’s right across from the library as well.

Ton of stuff to play on. Innovative play structures that allow creativity and risk-taking which are very important for childrens development. Its often busy, which means you can usually find a new friend to play with. Some parents do not like the fact that there are two entrances to the playground, and if you have multiple kids who are prone to run off, it could be stressful. Its also a very large play area with a lot of different structures, so it is difficult to keep your eye on your child every second, especially on busy days like the weekends.But this is a truly fantastic park and always a favorite of mine!

This is a really cool and spacious park. There are some sketch characters by the bus stop but the park itself is clean, family oriented and a serene place to walk around.

Although theres no electricity/ power source at the shelters we enjoyed ourselves. During this time its good to spend time with your loved ones.. Im glad the park is open

Largo park is a great place to bring your family to actually have fun. Just try it you will love it. Got young kids? They have a GREAT kids park.

A traditional city park smack dab in the middle of Largo. Large tree shaded and wide open areas with a playground and Civic functions such as the performing arts center and the library.

This is a well maintained park and is very nice and family friendly. We go frequently for walking the paths, the events and for the train ride the first weekend of the month.

Such a great park with a playground a large field and a walkway around the whole place. They have so many events around holidays and the kiddo train ride I believe they are still foing once a month!

Big park, with a miniature Choo-choo train track running around the park. And a big modern library in the middle of it all.

I use a fast charger there almost every day. Its right in front of the playground. I basically drive my electric car for free. Obviously the charger is free.

It was a nice sunny day in the park. I definitely needed the fresh air. Walked around a few times enjoying seeing people have fun.

Great Park, I take my daughter and dog here all the time. They have a huge playground and a big open grass field as well as a long paved walkway that goes around the park with a performing arts center and they even have an outdoor railroad train for the kids. Very scenic as well!

I gave this park 5 stars because once it is able to open, all of the amenities, I know it will be an amazing place for kids as well as adults. I went recently and everything for kids was closed, but it was my first time there and thought the park must be amazing usually and we went to just walk around anyways. The only thing that was kinda a bummer is that the restrooms were closed so when I had to use the bathroom we had to actually leave.

Great park and a nice playground for kids of all ages. Has a cute train kids can ride that can be rented for parties or runs for the public once a month.

Love this park! Always go all out for events. Large up to date playground and up to date exercise equipment. Public restrooms. There have a small train ride they run the first weekend of every month.

Great little city park! Wonderful play area for the kids, and nice trail area for walking or lap running...and I used the big field for some quick sprint intervals too, good stuff!

Its a pretty good place lot of nice people quite a few cute dogs decent for a bit of an exercise and if you play Pokemon go holy googly moogly best spot in Largo.

Very nice park in Largo, Florida that is really set up for children. There is everything here that anyone could want to have a day out with the kids. Leashed dogs are welcome in the park, just not in the fenced in playground. Tables and grills under pavilions for picnics. A+++

Clean, large park with great playground for children. The library is within walking distance and there is a little train you can ride around the park on certain days. Really a beautiful part of Largo.

Clean, well maintained, massive, and great range of stuff for the kids to play on. Oh also, sort of important in Florida......SHADE!! Those super photogenic and enormous trees are great for both photo ops and keeping you cool when it is 85 degrees out.

Amazing park, playground for kids, fitness zone for adults, picnic tables, bathrooms, water fountains, bike repair, walking path that I think is a little over half a mile, art and fancy landscaping and a train that runs the park sometimes.

Beautifully lit up for the Christmas holiday season! Nice stroll in the park for anyone! Lots of dogs were there. Nice playground for the kiddos. Some snack foods are set up sporadically around the park by different vendors. Theres also a Ferris wheel this time of year where tickets can be purchased. Otherwise, its free to just walk around!

This a very beautiful, well maintained place. With the library so near, its not too hard to wonder where Ill go on my days off.

I went here for a wedding. It was my first time at the Park. The grounds very nice and clean. A good time was had by all.

Largo Central Park is an outstanding place for a plethora of outdoor activities. They have a lot of small but effective totally free amenities. You have to see it to experience this quaint yet open pretty and well maintained local city Park. There are always cool concerts, shows, fireworks, and activities. Family is key here.

Social distancing with family while walking around the closed playground then the rest of the park. It was nice to get out of the house and pretend to be normal for a little bit. While we got in some steps. Very clean nice area.

I love Largos Central park for its valancy in horticultural product...Nothing pleaes me more in Largo than laying under a tree in Largos Central Park with the Father of my children!

Awesome park to visit they have everything that you could ask for and more.Plus they have grills for cooking out,a gym for working out and a playground that your kids are sure to love I would highly recommend checking this park out!

Largo Central Park is so beautiful, that you just want to stay there forever. We visit the first time to watch a movie and we loved it! Is very clean, well organised and great free parking.

Absolutely amazing. The display of xmas lights here is breathtaking. They have so many contrasted colors and a nice path to walk completely around the park. Fun for the whole family, which also includes funnel cake vendors, and popcorn and other snacks. Also have restrooms here in the park path with outside bench seats if you need to take a break or just want to sit and enjoy the display. Very nice.

Great Christmas lights this year. The lights are an annual tradition and the entire park is completely covered in Christmas lights. This year they even had a ferris wheel and merry-go-round. Must see for the holidays if youre visiting.

If you are a person who likes to walk in the morning this is ideal for you .And the birds and the animals appreciate a little food also. If you are a dog walker you will encounter every breed as you take your stroll around the park. Its a pet friendly Park.

This place is AWESOME especially around the holidays meaning Christmas in particular not only do they have festive glowing holiday sparkling lights a tree lighting event but they added a ferris wheel and a merry-go-round which that will cost you around $5 for one ticket and its one ticket to ride everything else is free though its beautiful the kids have lots of fun and the first Saturday of each month they have train rides I give this place a 5-star rating for sure

Its a very nice park for kids and families. You can sit on a bench, walk around and see the train, many little kids statues, and there is a huge playground. There is one for sports as well.

This is the MOST INCREDIBLE PARK my daughter & I have been to HANDS DOWN!! They have designed this park for ALL kids. Think American Ninja Warrior kid style. Toddlers can play house & pretend to work in a restaurant or try their hand at PAR CORE inspired play equipment. And it is well lit at night. They are open 5:30am-10pm. ENJOY
