This park has a lot of open space, a playground, scenic walking paths including around a lake that has piers on it. The lake is full of turtles and fish that will come right up to the piers. There are three sets of public restrooms available, and grilling areas. There are also pavilions for large gatherings. The park is well kept and manicured as their appears to be full-time staff constantly working around the park. I highly recommend it as a place to visit.

Beautiful park. Shaded walking and biking trails. 2 large dogs. Multiple restrooms, I didn’t use so I cannot confirm their cleanliness. Little boardwalk around a little lake with “fishing spots”. Open fields to run around with kids and play. Great park.

We took the dogs to the dog park here. There are three of them right next to each other, one is only for small dogs. There is plenty if room for everyone! They have great trails and lakes and shelters. The park was beautiful!!

A very good quiet park. Not many people go there so, there isnt too many people to annoy you while meditating or relaxing. Beautiful views and the lakes are great. It is maintained very well and is overall one of the best in the county.

Lots of nice dogs at the park. Water and benches are a nice touch. A couple miles of paved trails combined with gravel and walkways. The wooden walkways were very slippery.

We absolutely love this park!! It is barely a 3 minute bike ride from our home and we go there frequently to enjoy a wonderful family bike ride. Weve also utilized the large, grassy play areas by taking stomp rockets and other fun flying toys to experience with our 8 year old son. Theres also a dog park plus many people walk their dogs throughout the park. Once the weather cools down more we will be taking our crazy group of 4 dogs over there for a nice, long walk.

I went for my 4 mile walk around the park, so beautiful, the lakes fill with turtle and on the docks I found this bird chilling out, very relaxing!

Huge park for the middle of Pinellas County. Lots of asphalt trails and some dirt trails around the outside edge too. Beautiful park. Oh and they do have a dog park and a kids playground.

Soo many turtles. I wanted to go fishing there but there are no fishing signs everywhere. But it is a relaxing park with a nice trail

Love Eagle Lake Park. But just wondering why the new sign says closed the day after Thanksgiving and Closed the day after Christmas. Why would it close the day after? People are home and want to enjoy the park after the holiday busy days.

Nice open park, lots of shelters. Well manicured fields. The playgrounds are great for children, and have wood fencing to help contain them from running off.

The park is a nice place and you could connect with nature, it is a big example that anyone who wants a better world should start cleaning up the environment to protect earth from pollution and plastic so we need to be clean and sustainable to have a better future.

Great green space in the middle of the busy clearwater/largo area. Fresh water lake with many species of birds and the most turtles i have seen in one place. Pavillions dog park and barbecue grills as well as the walk around the lake

I went to the dog park. It is amazing, with two large dog and one small dog section. If your dog is timid or aggressive, one of the large dog areas are usually empty. Theres water from a hose with bowels for the pups, and a shower area outside to hose off the pups after. Please read the park rules before bringing your pups.I have also walked on some of the trails. Like the dog area, it is about 50% shaded, so the heat is not a huge factor.

Nice park with pavilions for small events. Theres a little lake in the middle, and a walking/biking/other trail that runs around the waterline. You do have to go outside the park to completely circumnavigate the lake.

This park is just what I needed! It is a great refuge to walk with your dogs, enjoy beautiful natural surroundings around a beautiful lake, sit quietly to meditate and/or pray, let children run and play on playground, ride bikes,.... The bathrooms were so very clean and well kept. Whoever is responsible for creating and maintaining this park should be commended - extremely well done

All Pinellas County parks are great and this happens to be one of the best. Numerous trails. Numerous lakes. Plenty of parking. Wide open green spaces. And all smack dab in the middle of Pinellas county.

We love taking our dog here. If you go around the perimeter of the park there are a few places where you can take them off leash safely.

Place is HUGE! First time here and I explored a dang good portion of the park with my 4 month old. Took 3 hours, she had a blast. I saw a bunch of Bluejays and of course those furry little tree rodents (squirrels). Definitely a pleasure and only minutes from home, a serious gem.I wish they would do something with that farm house and land though. Would be a gem, and Im sure theres a great story behind it.

Beautiful park! The lake has many turtles that congregate around one of the bridges. The are fun to watch. Trails wooded and in great shape for biking and roller boarding. Very relaxing!

Went to dog park. Very clean and my dog had a great time with other dog friends

We walk everyday at Eagle Lake. Beautiful grounds, turtles, Osprey, squirrels, birds, and 2 large ponds to visit. Dog friendly and this is my favorite walking park.

Beautiful small park with walking / biking trail, several small ponds / lake and dog park enclosures. Small playground area with good facilities, but lacking in shade for children. Several picnic shades. Well maintained.

Great park to go for walks, exercise, picnic etc. I enjoy the woods there. Very well kept and clean. Great for family fun even in these difficult times.

Eagle Lake is a great place to walk! (Walk,run, skate, bike ride, etc.) Morning, afternoon or evening all offers a variety of things to view in a mostly natural setting. Social distancing is still recommended so they have not yet open the barbeque grills for gatherings. That being said, many people have found a very nice place to get outside, get some exercise and at least be amongst other people without having to get too close The exercise is very healthy for your soul and for your physical being. Im never disappointed coming here and plan on returning an endless number of times in my future. I hope to see you there in the future!

Great park with lots of different areas like paved paths for running, biking or skating or boardwalks around the lake or dirt paths that make you feel like you are in a forest. Its also nicely spread out so you dont feel crowded.

I think I enjoyed the walking paths/trails the best! Theres plenty of trees to look at and it has a dog park, however I was not impressed with the small dog enclosure which did not have enough shade and only 2 benches to sit on (which granted are under the only shaded area). Considering the atmosphere and relaxed feel, I give it a 4.

Great place to walk your dog or ride your bike. sometimes a bit busy, but plenty of space to be secluded. our dog is a bit timid but has no problems here, trails are plenty wide enough for a bike to pass by without boxing him in.

Great place to just walk the paths in wilderness, can almost walk up to rabbits since not afraid. Fast rallying bicyclist can be annoying and dominate occasionally, but mostly people walking and jogging. The whole circuit is 4 to 5 miles, wont get bored with scenery.

Such a gem! Great for birding, running, critter watching and enjoying the outdoors.

Nice figure 8 trail with some shorter trails to meet your meeds. Plenty of places to watch nature, with boardwalks over lakes. Plenty of shelters spread all over the park. Dog park located at entrance and a play ground for the kids at the far end of the park. Some large open fields and plenty of forest areas. One main entrance and two other pedestrian entrances allowing easy access for the neighborhood on the west side of the park.

Great park with fantastic walking trails. We used to take our dog to the dog park here too. There are picnic pavilions and plenty of parking. We have some of our work outings here. Park is very well taken care of and clean.

I liked the park but I wish there were more signs in the trails to let you know where different intersections will lead you to if you go left or right while walkingNot the parks fault, but there were a few pavilions who had music on too loud where it carried the noise beyond other pavilions trying to have a birthday party etc. For example, a kids birthday party was drowned out by some Mexican music 2 pavilions away. I felt sorry for the kids party.

The best family park and the place for the rest in this area! The place where you can spend time on the wild nature.

This is a beautiful park with trails. They have a gorgeous lake with waterfowl. The staff was awesome and they kept the grounds spotless including the shelters and trash barrels.

We love this park! We bring our dogs on the weekends and spend the day in the big green lawns having a picnic. Kept very clean and landscaping is maintained
