We have been going to Highlands for many years! We have had family functions there! And this year we had a nice school function there also! The funny thing is I used to go there before it was this pool when it was the original pool 50 years ago LOL! The staff is very very friendly! Very reasonable price to go swimming I like their schedules! I like it that you just cant drop your kids off for the whole day off so formation Mark get what I mean! Thank you for having such a wonderful facility for everybody to enjoy! I like everything about Highlands the this is all Recreation facilities! The park! The kids have a nice playground! Thank you for being there..I have so many pictures over the years that I never took my phone so it never showed me being there so here is the beginning of some pictures this was this past summer
You get a lot for you money considering entry is only $9 but its a small water park. 2 mid side water slides, 2 playground sized water slides, and a small splash area, 9 awning shaded areas, changing room/shower, lap pool and 0 entry pool. We had 2 hours of fun here. We were able to bring folded chairs but no umbrellas. You can bring water bottles but nothing else. They did have chips and drinks but no real food. They have a no re-entry policy so you cant go picnic and come back. 150 people is 50% capacity and only around 40 was there around noon and maybe 10-15 at opening.
Great spot to spend an hour or two with the kids
Great place for kids
Good price for a lot of fun
Nice water park. $9 admission per person over the age of 1... Even if not swimming.... Ridiculous. And no coolers so domt plan on spending any amount of time here unless you wanna buy $3 can drinks all day long. Will NOT return
This pool is too beautiful to only be open on Saturday and Sunday, and only a few months out of the year. What a waste.
Need to have longer hours at the rec center 10 to 2 is not long enough time I get off work the place is closed kids have no fun we end up going to the beach where we end up paying $10 for parking or more. They need to stay open longer so everyone can enjoy themselves because when the rain comes you lose out I understand lightning but not just rainfall everything stops. Its just their way of going home early
Pool prices are insane. Other pools are a small fee for the day and have free splash parks. The special pricing can be nice however please be aware that they now enforce ages for Itty bitty splash time . Advising siblings they will have to sit out-previously this was not the case. Some of the front desk staff could use some work on their people skills as well.
Just had our twin boys birthday pool party here and everyone had an amazing time! The staff and life guards were very helpful and attentive. Thank you!
Love this place. My family really feels comfortable when we visit. The kids adore the water slides. I like how they have life jackets & puddle jumpers for the kids to use free of charge.
Joined Recreation Center - Did not know the pool would not be open during the school year? Lots of families do home school and K-12 programs. There should be pool time during school year. Very disappointed
I have a granddaughter who is 2 yrs old, finding ways to keep her entertained can be a real challenge but Highland rec center totally gets it....You guys are awesome
This was my first visit. I was approached and helped immediately. I was given a tour and all of the programs were explained. Phil were very informative and patient.
Loved it. They keep their facility clean and this is great for a day trip to take the kids. They can start outdoors and make it in to their 3 story high slides.
The rec center is clean and the machines are new. There are something to do for all ages. Love it.
5dollars everytime you want to swim? Plus 24 dollar membership for each person...theyre just out to make cash. Truly dont care about children in the area...sad
Great place for the communty, and such a great resource as well. Wish I could knock out half a star, because I wish their programs for little kids were a bit longer and their kids splash pool a bit bigger.Also... Some events for kids happens early on in the morning, when the water is COLD. Buurrrrrr
The park is fun and well maintained, but the staff is very rude and unpolite. The park is also expensive for people who live out of county. It cost 8 bucks per person and they will charge for babies to, which is BS. The baby cant even utilize the entire park so they charge full price for them. I would say kids under 3 should be free or reduced price. The staff rushes you out of the water park after it is done, my children were still changing in the bathroom and they were trying to usher me out the door. I would say it is a fun place onceand awhile, but a bit over priced for how long u get.
Love the splash pad, my kids always have a great time! But customer service could be improved.
Clean affordable fun amazing waterslide kids. Go here for some good summer fun. You will not be disappointed and the little food shack is fun too, but bring your own food if you dont want the regular junk snacks. Beware of the tall steep slide, you might scratch your back if you dont wear a swim shirt. The pools are very spacious, come on a less busy day for maximum fun with friends
Great family day. Perfect place for not too many people
Always a great place for a summer birthday party!
Had a blast today. Nice pool and lots of safe fun for all sizes.
I spoke on two different occasions with different young supervisors requesting that the complex consider providing 1-2 ping pong tables, since it is more than a swimming pool. Both replies were curt with a twist of disdain and a dash of arrogance. Seems they are not interested in hearing that services could be extended.
Its a great place to bring the kids to. We always have a great time there. However, I would like for aquatics to be open longer that 2 hours at the time.
The beach is low cost/free compared to this...what ever happened to open swim all day from 9am-8pm for the cost of a value meal? Many amusement parks are cheaper than going to this pool. Is this funded by our tax dollars? If so, Id like an audit to see how they are giving back to our community!
Used walking track which is a great way to exercise without having the heat outside. I just wish the air conditioner was turned down more.
This place is awesome
Not to happy. They limit time and our very expensive for that little bit if time. To many Chiefs and just want to make money.
It has so much to offer to the children indoors and outdoors.
Why have the hours been reduced? Need more time especially on hot days.
Best rec Ive been to EVER. PlayPlace is better than Chuck E. Cheeses place with an arcade, gym nd a pool wit the best slides I strongly recommend this place for any parties, reunions, or just for fun
Newly opened, however I would rather go to the other community pools where you pay a fee for the DAY. Since re-opening, it costs me $24 for myself and 2 kids to get in and that is only for 2 lousy hours, if you want to stay longer, you have to pay another $24. Id rather spend that kind of money on Adventure Island for the day with 50 waterslides. Seems like a complete ripoff to me......We will not be returning to this pool this summer.....
Best rec center...pool is fabulous...nice new complex
Very nice, only suggestions would be 1.open swim hours were longer and 2. offer monthly pass.
Made us get out of water because it started to rain and no lightning. Overall fun place
9$ a person over the age of 1
Nice family gathering from a hot day to cool off.
Nicely remodeled and great family place.
Great Jack to school expo thanks a lot
Fun for families with children of all ages, and alert life guards.
Love walking the indoor track.
Great place for family
Way too crowded! Need more strict rules for kids running and jumping in
Kids have a blast. Friendly staff
Great facility to swim at, but the 2 your rate is ridiculous.
Whatever
Can i go toomoro
