Love the park. Its awesome

Great place for walking or running and it is very well lit. The trail that cuts through the middle of the park is beautiful. It has plenty of benches and trash cans. The pond there is surrounded by benches on one side. The trees provide plenty of shade during the day. The track is exactly one mile around, not counting the middle track/trail. You can also walk around the grass area/fields if theyre not too muddy from recent rains. The Krezia L. Memorial Garden is also located in this park. The garden is peacefu and quiet, a wonderful place to just sit and contemplate. Theres no clear path to the garden or signs that I have seen, but I always go off trail and followed a dirt path when I came across it. It may be easy to see from the track during the day, but I tend to go at dusk and cannot see the garden from there.

This Family park is so AWESOME ... but it needs MORE picnic tables and cooking pits also I wish it would have more sun shades in the play ground Laredo is very Hot.. And all shades in the Beautiful small Waterpark ....

Beautiful complex with baseball fields call my soccer fields, walking trails, and basketball courts. You have no excuse to not exercise because this park has it all. I enjoy going to my sons baseball games are because it is clean and the Landscaping is beautiful. A great family.

Huge Park spread out over miles except theres not very much to do everything has its own little corner and its all limited but other than that its a great place to walk your dog let the kids run around and play

I love slaughter park, its what the south side needed. It has open areas for walking. Has public gym area, has a playgroung, a small water park, several fields, tons of parking and my favorite part. A nature trail for both walkers and bike enthusiasts. Then there is the old Slaughter House and the Citys tree nursery. I wish we had more places like this in Laredo.

The park is not monitored by security or law enforcement. People do not respect handicap parking nor do they park correctly. Which is a red flag for an accident to happen. People parking on the edge of a two way and makes it in possible to see a car coming from left to right.

Winter at Slaughter Park, love the lights and kids were fascinated.

This park is always improving. Ample parking and a lot of different areas make it really stand. Theres even a creepy abandoned house towards the back.

Incredible park and a good area for it. Gives the kids something to do! The fountain is neat too, and It lights up beautifully at night. A wonderful place to visit!

Great park

The park is huge but the parking lot isnt Alos theres so much dirt flying around The restrooms were super filthy Its is south Laredo and I live in North Laredo so its a long drive to see a half hour game. The flag football game I went to see was delayed because some of the lights didnt work and it was already dark so it was hard to see the game

Park was nice and big and clean the only thing is my two year old got bored fast here the Water Area was pretty boring just water shooting straight up and no shade also the playground was nice and big but not for 2 year olds. With all the money they spent on this park it could have been a little better

Nice park big with many things to do.

I enjoy this park very much. It offers so much, basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields, nature trail, exercise equipment, restrooms and fountains. The only thing I wish it had was picnic tables and grills for a cookout.

It was a very professional setting/environment. But during the World Series game tonight, we were sent from Anna field to Slaughter Park because someone forgot to make arrangements to leave the lights on, or so the announcer stated. So our Laredo Marucci team was transported by parents and the Dominicana team was bused over to Slaughter Park. We got started late at 9:15. Needless to say before the 5th inning was completed, the lights were shut down, not giving our Latedo team time to come back and win.

The park is very clean. There are restrooms opened to the public and they are also kept clean which is the most important part no one wants to enter into a dirty smelling restroom. There is alto to do at this park, whether youre there to have fun with the family or if your there to exercise the equipment is there for you. I absolutely recommend this park to everybody it is a very fun place to be with the family.

Some of the water fountains dont let water out. Its a park where kids and adults go for exercise as a diversity of other things. So water fountains should be a priority! Also clean and sanitize restrooms. You can tell they dont sanitize the restrooms properly and there was no soup. I had to wash my hands with just water. Poor sanitary measures.

Dogs are supposed to be on a leash. Theres no one to enforce the rules until a dog bites a child. Other than that its a nice park. I do my walking there.

Here you and your kids can enjoy a pleasant day playing soccer,baseball,basketball or even exercise on the outdoors gymnasium. You can also go for a walk surrounded by native bushes and trees while listening to the singing birds. If your lucky you can even stop to buy a Raspa and snacks and never fails...the paletero man.

All soccer fields are in bad shape, the area needs a lot of maintenance.
