The Museum director is incredibly nice and extremely helpful. If theres ever any questions regarding scheduling or information about tours she is always ready to help.
Although it may be small, the Water Museum offers some modern and colorful infographics on Laredos water treatment. There are interactive displays to keep the children occupied, and plenty of water facts and tidbits for older guests to read. Its free admission, so why not give it a visit and relax while youre visiting Laredo.
Beautiful museum with so many amenities. Free for the public and educational for our children. A must do while visit Laredo or simply enjoying what our city has to offer.
Permanently closed due to covid-19
Came in today... Loved it. Great information done in a interactive display great for kids and adults.Well done. Would like to bring my kids
The Laredo Water Museum is an educational and informative must see place for everyone. Its a modern hands-on museum, giving valuable insights into the world of water, for instance the water consumption of households, the importance of the Rio Grandes ecosystem and a step-by-step explanation of how water is processed. One is asked to sign in upon entering, but strangely enough there was no museum staff member around while we were there.
My toddler boys love coming here! Mr. Torres (the Superintendent) & Maria were wonderful whenever we needed assistance. Thanks you two :)
Great place definetly a place for the family to visit. An experience you will never forget
Laredo Water Museum is a really nice place, it’s a great place for the entire family. It’s nice and cool inside, very educational, great to teach kids and adults to waste less water.
Its a really great experience as well as informative.
Great place to take the family! very clean and extremely informative! our tour guide was extremely nice and very interactive with the children! would definitely recommend!
I love it, and its free admission. Laredo needs more attractions like this for kiddos. Too bad it is closed on Saturdays. I know it is hard to stay open 7 days a week, but for some of us its not possible to make it during the week. This place needs better advertising to get more people in.
This place is great we need more places like this in laredo!
Nice little Park bordering the river a great place for children to find out about our limited Water Resources. And its free
Very interesting but very little for small children.
There is a place to sit down for a while and get some snacks from the vending machines but on the other side there is a place where it shows you how the water is used and where it came from, you can even get into a scale that tells you how much water there is in your body.
Love this museum. Perfect place to take the entire family. It brings a great deal of awareness about the surrounding environment and how to take care of it with interactive devices.
Very interesting beautiful place enjoy it.
Grass should be green instead of yellow [dry] considering it is a water plant facility and there is an abundance of water within the plant.
Incredible experience!!! Toured with the TX Tropical Trail group and had an unforgettable time! Cant stop telling folks about it!
This place is amazing, Great information on H2o... Brings in a lot of water usage awareness
