I love that theres a trail i can walk while my kids play on the slides. lots of shade and open space. i love coming here a couple times a week!

Weve been here twice now and its always empty. I heard its busy on the weekends. My kids are older but were able to run around and enjoy themselves for a bit. Theyre getting bored with Fort Steilacoom so were exploring.They have swings, slides, bars and balance beams, a fake rock wall, little bridge, tic tax toe and some monkey bars.

The park benches are really dirty and smell like urine, the play ground was clean though (seemed clean). The grass was well maintained and the trash was taken out.

Love it here. Not a ton of people so good for the little ones.

Lovely park with a lot of support for the local community. Event was put on today for community members by some of the wonderful staff of Harborstone CU. I wont mention names because Im not sure if theyd want that. A great event and many police and fire department personnel dropped by to show support. The Mayor and the Chief of police also stopped by. More events like this are needed all over. My family volunteered and had time to enjoy. It was a great afternoon.

While it is a small park, it is always clean every time I go there. It has a covered picnic area, a play area suitable for most ages, and a large open field for playing sports. For Pokemon Go players, it has two stops and an EX Raid gym, as well as a gym at the church across the street.

Bball court overall 3/5 stars.. Full netting on both hoops but they have those stiff a** rims..

Nice little park with toys for kids to play. Access to a couple of Pokemon Gyms and stops. Nothing fancy but worth a visit.

This is our neighborhood of course its one of the best parks in Lakewood.

This park is sketchy. Lots of homeless hanging out. One time I thought I might be interupting a drug deal so I left. But when the company is good, its a cute little park with a covered picnic area, basketball court, and playground.

Great place for Pokemon Go

Nice park, theres a big green field and a small playground. There are swings and the playground type is bark. No parking lot, but place to park on the side. Its across the street from a church in a residential area.

Very family friendly park. Also great, quiet & relaxing place to escape reality & read a book.

A homeless camp is set up under the canopy just feet from where the playground equipment is. Its a shame too because it is a nice little park.

Always a lot of homeless people here. Usually just go there for the pokestops and gyms

I really enjoy this park because i can see all 4 of my kids wherever they go. The playground offers several fun slides, bridges, and climbing toys. There are swings off to one side and a very large field for running around. The basketball court is small but does get used often. This is street parking only but not to worry, as the street is not busy.

Open air park situated next to a lovely residential area. Among the amenities are a covered area with benches and tables, perfect for hosting a public party or barbeque, a childrens playground, a basketball court, and a large grassy field for hosting sportsball practices. Also includes a handful of Poke-stops and wizards Unite inns ;)

Good place to go let the kids run around and still be able to keep them in sight. Usually the mornings or early afternoon best times to go.

Aside from the drug deals right in front of you and your kids its not a bad place.

This park is nice with a big open field. We bring our son here to play basketball & football. They dont have restroom but they have one of those buckets.

This park is overrun with homeless people and questionable stuff going on. It can be okay at certain times. But most of the time the shelter and table area is full of people sleeping and lots of their belongings.

Was a nice little place to kick back, now homeless spot along with the kids skipping school during the week days.

Kinda hard to find but quiet place next to a church

First time there. I disliked this place because it was park-goers that smoked weed, not much parking, and I felt like it was not a safe park.

This place has gone down a bit in the last year...too many homeless people find it to be a nice place to hangout making it uncomfortable to have your kids down there.

Nothing special. Just an ordinary park with a slide, swings, ECT. But it is good if youre vored and want to play outside

This is a small park with a little playground, a small basketball court and a very short trail around the little park. Its a nice place to go for a break if you work at the Lakewood Towne Center, or youre running errands in the area.

Peaceful and no crazy bums walking around like u see at most Parks, when you see homeless sleeping on a picnic bench/table you need for your BBQ. i dont go to many parks in Tacoma/Lakewood/spanaway/parkland/north end, etc because of my nieces and nephews being afraid... but I came to this park at dusk few days ago and actually was impressed I gotta finally read a good book,an not have to worry about hobos approaching me and me having to keep watching my back since the bums bug u for change and food. Im a Christian woman so I do my fair share of help given to the less unfortunate.but sometimes u wanna leave your home to enjoy the fresh air.. Im still a work in progress, as though we all are, so judge all u want.Im just glad to say I enjoyed this area in retrospect, Lakewood has came along way.keep up the good work please and godbless us all,and America.... Kind of small for a park, but larger than nut yard. I guess it is okay. It was clean and the kids enjoyed it.

Big field mowed, a plaved trail around it., a kids playground, a basketball hoop, & a smaller covered picnic area. Has one outhouse. Usually not many or no one there.

Good park for young kids

Sometimes homeless people hang out here, and Ive seen them doing drugs The play structure is kinda small. There are two swings for big kids and two swings for babies. There are two basket ball hoops and. A drinking fountain and a porta potty. (Which smells horribly). Pinic tables are always filthy . Also sometimes people come here without leashes on their animals.

I dont know why they call it a active park its a regular park with a playset swings a walking trail and hoops with covered shelter....not super active tho
