Nice baseball fields. Bathrooms arent always open but if you call office, they will open. Unfortunately, lights arent always on.

Clean, quiet park. I came through the trail and end up resting at the park before heading back to the trail. Very relaxing. Great addition to the neighborhood. Clean BBQ area for big family party.

Worth visiting place. Clean and well maintained.

Boyar Park is a nice quiet little park on the east side of Lakewood. Parking is usually good. Theres a covered picnic area, play area for the kids, and basketball courts.

I enjoy it it small pathway do walking or jogging like beginners exercise.

Very beautiful park that actually has two sides with the San Gabriel riverbed in between both sides and a bridge that allows you to access both sides at your convenience. I cant stress how beautiful this park is very maintained and clean. I suppose I will leave it to you the decide which side has the greener grass.

Sickest quinceniera I’ve ever been to. Park restrooms were hella clean at least before I went in there lol I also just recently bought a new whip and one of the workers actually started doing donuts on the parking lot with my new stang. It was dope, shoutout to the homie keep it bro

Luis what a helpful person he was playing with my dog while I was working so I wouldn’t get distracted (Of course with my permission for him to play with my dog)he has a good eye he saw me when I was telling my dog to wait Luis read his face and knew what to do(You guys need to give Luis more hours he deserve it)

This park is always clean and a nice place to spend time with the family. Unfortunately there is not much for kids to do. The playground has a mix of old and new equipment, with the old being the same as when I was a youth (many, many years ago). The new has some climbing equipment with two sets of bars. Theres some swings and a place to sit in the shade for the grownups. The far end of the park has a cubana to have birthday parties and a few b-ball courts at the opposite end. This park is split in two, with baseball diamonds and a large plot of grass across the street. I find that my child enjoys the bridge connecting the two sides the best. Would be nice to see them update the play area as much as they did there Banquet Hall.

I was here a while back for my sisters party and the park was kind of boring tbh so I walked with my friends to the dog park across the street and we see this hot latino boy in a red polo working at the dog park, me and my friends thought he was hella cute so we went up to him and asked for his number he told us his name was Luis I think and that he was 16. At the time we were like 19 so it was a bummer but we saw him recently and he got so much hotter yaasssss

I go here during my annual church events. Its peaceful and has a short walking trial right next to it. I like to take my horseshoes n let time fly.

What really nice place to hold a little party. Great facilities. Refrigerator, freezer, microwave, tables and chairs.

This is the nicest park and it has a wadinng pool for the kids in the summer time. Great place to have a birthday or bbq.

The park is very clean and nice. The restrooms are extremely clean. They have a gated playground and is also clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. They even offer great activities during the summer for the kids. Its offered Monday through Friday and inexpensive. We do enjoy going to Boyar Park.

Someone from the city should clean the park up from time to time. The baseball field fences had spider webs everywhere. There were branches and limbs from trees that fell off and looked like theyve been there for weeks. The grass in the outfield was about 4 high.

I agree...ive lived in the vicinity for over 25 yrs.. This park has always been there for me when I needed athletic entertainment...it has basketball courts and handball areas...it also offers a baseball field...I coached basketball once here...and my team and kids did really well that season..to be honest I coached here because my 8 yr old basketball crazy nephew was in this league...needless to say...im nostalgic every time I pass by...im a mere 2 mins away...and the George Nye library is a few feet from the baseball field...bring your kids, some chairs, get some kids books and read underneath a shaded tree while the teenagers practice their favorite sport...i love to work out so come to this park and bring your A game...lol

Little hidden park in a housing neighborhood. I like that the playground is gated... however, some kids and even parents dont get the clue and leave the gates open so you have to be very cautious since there is an entrance/exit that goes straight into the del amo busy street. It is scary if youre relying on the gates being closed all the time. Other than that, it is a small sand park, with a small parking lot, but my kids love it.

This is a small park along busy Del Amo Blvd. This is deceiving as the entrance to the park is actually in the neighborhood north of that street. There is very little parking so visitors may have to park in the neighborhood. The facilities are adequate but dont hold your parties here due to the parking issue.

Favorite park in Lakewood!

Has a splash pool open during the summer, two full court basketball courts with a few single hoops, a playground with swings and three play structures. it has a walk bridge over to the south side of the park that has 2 softball fields.
