Great place to walk and relax. While I was walking I noticed some weirdo eyeing me. He stood under a bridge staring at my wife and I. When he clumsily walked away. We just split from the path and walked in a different direction. Nice path to walk in the end
Starting at the Aquarius trailhead, you can walk/ride the trail for quite a long way. A good part of the trail is partily shaded with the creek close by. Most bicyclists are respectful of you walking your dogs; as on other trails, some are not. Pick-up bags and trash cans located on part of the trail thru Lafayette.
For being in a fairly flat area not far out of the city, this was really pretty and had a great natural feel to it! Ill definitely be back.
I ride CCT frequently to get to my favorite trails. Increase in users during COVID, and in particular, users with no idea of trail etiquette, is making it increasingly less desirable. I am to the point I am debating taking roads instead. Never thought I would prefer drivers to hikers.
Nice little place to explore.
It was ok not really anything great. Seems more like a dog walk than a scenic hike. Good place to walk on lunch if you work nearby and are into that sort of thing.
Its an easy walking trail, twists and turns, but no upward climb from here. Its like a trail in the middle of the city. It seems a little off the beaten path, but since you can see houses and businesses, you know your near to somewhere and everywhere. This particular spot is just east of 287/Dillon Road and just behind the the roundabout.Happy Trails
Nice little scenic walk; a little bit far from residential areas, but there are large parking lots nearby. Good for a short day hike and / or bike, not so great for finding oranges hidden among the reeds and lofty soutterrains. Mallards coax sweet serenity among the nearby hives; they sputter and duck sleek heads, bobbing for hope like the forlorn masses. Waiting, praying, thriving in the squalid muck.
Nice walk along the creek but feels a little industrial
I rode the 11.5 miles from.Erie to Louisville ending up.in .my fav spot, Moxies, for lunch. The trail is awesome and a perfect out and back 21 mile ride..bring lots of water as theres alot of exposure.
There is always a surprise when traveling alongside the coal Creek river its a nice place to have a good time
Beautiful wide path that goes along the creek. Parts of it are nicely shaded.
Slice of real garden and nature combined. Its fun to see how this pkace is so well planned, it doesnt seem planned at all. Great fo folks from out of town needing to get a jog in, or a two year looking for a babbling brook to throw some rocks in. My money is on the studies that say- these are the most fruitful playgrounds for the benifet of our growth and self assesment. Open spaces in the cracks of our cookie cutter neighborhoods, may be the only mortar of our towns and comunities. Hope this kind of thinking catches on in other parts of the metro area, we all could use the break from the grind.
Great trail. Went on vacation here with my friends to ride our SSR mini bikes, it was a great experience that I would love to do again.
Fun afternoon walks!
Nice walk in Lafayette by the water . Makes you feel away from the town for a while. Also great connector on bike from Erie to Superior.
Quiet, yet active trail. Mostly gravel with some cement pavement walks, good for mountain bikes and joggers.
This is one of my most favorite trails. Most of is tree canopied.
Peaceful trail
This is a decent place for a quick hike around town.
Dog poop picked up too bad not the same for cig buttz. Thats why it didnt get a 5
Lived next to this year for years. Highly recommend.
Nice place to go for a walk.
Great flat trail that goes to Louisville
Love this creek and trail for hiking, biking, birding.
