Great place for the family... nice fields, great playground and awesome nature paths near by.
Myrick is lovely as always! I love watching people enjoy themselves bike, walk, fish, and have fun on the killer playground!
Its fun, but I couldnt join my niece because the pathways are small. Still fun tho.
Hidden gem of La Crosse parks. Definitely in the top 3 alongside Grandads Bluff and Riverside.
Theyve done the best they can with making bike paths through a swamp, but the park itself is really nice and the playground is huge.
This park is perfect if you are looking for a jungle gym or place to go for a casual walk however I remember the when there was a zoo and snack shop that evoked truely nostalgic joy, it would be far better if the park would finish the plans promised when they demolished so many peoples childhoods and deprived us from sharing this once gem of LaCrosse.
Such a great place for weddings, with scenic views, comfortable and inviting rooms, not to mention a great place to bring children as well!
Great place to go for kids to play. Does get really busy.
Great hiking trails and many tables for outdoor eating
Very nice park. Borders wetland wildlife refuge with multiple trails. 2 shelters available to rent for events. Has very large toy structure to wear the kids out. Well groomed. Adjacent to University of Wisconsin Lacrosse
Big playground and lots for kids to do and enjoy. Can be super busy or crowded with people if on weekend or nice out
Beautiful and lots of trees for shade.. Had a great picnic there!
We have a lot of fun here! This is probably one of the best parks. It can get a little busy but thats fine! It is a lot of fun.
Great place to take the family. The kid play area has a lot of little nooks and crannies that the kids can have fun with and there are plenty of trails around to take hikes or go on bike rides.
Unique playground with lots of open spaces and areas to picnic.
Awesome place to come with your children. You cannot go by Lacrosse without coming to this place. The playground is huge. The entrance to the marsh gives you an opportunity to appreciate nature and have fun any season of the year.
Nice ample space to do activities. Trails and a big childrens playground.
A great park near campus for leisure activites and group gatherings
Awesome park! The Kids Coulee play area is great for all ages. There is even a sand box!
Great park to take your kids and dog. They have a dog park down by the bottom of the marsh trails and the marsh trails are very nice to walk along.
Its a beautiful park with both a playground and a walking path.
My small family spent a few hours here. Loved the fact they have sign language on the playground. My fiancee is deaf and he just lit up when he saw that. Loved the animal section as well. Hes a huge animal lover. Our son loved playing with all the other kids as well.
We had so much fun here! Lots of space and play areas for children of all ages
Awesome park for a walk
I play pokemon GO there
Awesome place to take a friend/family member to enjoy the outside.. just make sure the bugs dont swarm you
Very cool paths into the wetlands.
A nice park. Havent hiked the trails for many years, but they were always fun. Maybe sometime soon.
Always loved this place since I was a kid
While i miss all the fun I had here as a kid I still enjoy the walking trails and Kids Coulee playground for my daughter. I hope that throughout the years more is done here to make it a more communal space again where people can get together and enjoy the great city of La Crosse.
Good Pokémon stops
Great place to do just about anything. Shelters available and WisCorp also have a wedding venue to reserve. Nice walking and hiking trail also fishing opportunities in the marsh.
This wooden park is awesome and there is a huge native plant garden and the park is connected to a nice trail system
Close to university, well known. Rabbit trail hiking, very scenic. Excellant picnic area.
Nice quiet walk
It has a great play area for all ages of children. Sad to see some parents use it as a babysitting tool. Leaving them unattended.
Beautiful park.
Myrick park has a lot of different activities for little children and older ones..we had an enjoyable day at a birthday party in one of their shelters. Its nice to have a place thats free to take your little ones
My kids love this park and its a great place for us to be able to play together and enjoy ourselves as long as its not too cold out
I love the creativity this park inspires in the children playing who get to play there!
Amazing park :) Great trails through the marsh, huge playground, stage, gun shelter for small gatherings, large building center for martial arts (Aikido) classes, girl scout events, and ecology classes. Lots of bike racks. Two roads (one way to go in, one way to go out) so there is not congestion. Really big parking lot. Well taken care of and beautiful in the warmer seasons. Big place! Quiet too.
We love going here! so much education with wis corps and love that they bring in the public library in for events as well! the playground is still as great as I remember it as a kid. just wish the zoo would still be there or at least what they had started a while back.
Love this place, have since I was a child. Love the new visitors center!
As a kid there were still animals at the zoo which is now the Ecocenter. They built Kids Coulee when I was in middle school which was half a lifetime ago now. Equipment is in need of some repair but is still very entertaining for my kiddos.
It is a awesome place to take your kids to play. Very friendly people.
Very fun place for the kids & nice place to go on a picnic with the family or a nice walk
I really love taking my kids here. I miss the zoo they had there when I was growing up. Still a pretty cool place.
Great area to hang out, a fun castle for the kids to run around in, and overall amazing days to be spent there. Bug spray might be needed though.
Hasnt been the same since the zoo and rides are gone
Awesome community resource and year round fun.
Myrick Park is a very spacious and lovely place. I have been going here for the last twelve years and every time that I have gone, it has always been a pleasant experience.
If you are visiting La Crosse or just moved to the area this is one of the places you simply must take your family. The marsh adjacent to the park has well maintained trails for jogging and/biking but be careful, the wildlife can and will be an obstacle which for some can be a selling point and for others is a complete turn-off.The park itself is vast and has the largest playground areas in the city. It is wonderful for small children and boasts several slides, swing sets, and climbing apparatuses. My only gripe, if you can call it that, is that there is ALWAYS something going on there which can make parking at times interesting.
Love this park! Best playground in the city. Fun trails through the marsh. Nature center is great, offers fun programming through WisCorps.
I like this location its got a lot of good toys for the kids to play with there is not any broken toys or sharp objects that could injure a child. There isnt garbage laying around everywhere inside the play area. The bathroom sometimes need a little TLC but I guess thats what you get with a public bathroom at a park. The garbage cans are pretty well kept up on and the grasses usually mode regularly. Of all the parks in the area I take my child to this one the most.
Great place. Clean, family fun, beautiful nature views, and a great playground.
Did my daughters graduation party here...so awesome and clean.
Fantastic trails. Good birding. To much buckthorn.
I always loved kids coulee as a kid, and now I get to enjoy the rabbit trails and the park still. I wish the zoo was still there though, that nature center isnt nearly as fun.
My Grandbabies love it. It a nice place to have picnic.
Nice park !
The park has been a family favorite since it was built. My children had fun there, now their children play there.
Great place to walk and relax, love it
Wonderful place to hike in the middle of Lacrosse
It is a lovely beautiful place. Just wish the zoo was still there!
The best around. Huge and the kids love it.
I miss the zoo!! The Kids Coulee play area is wonderful for those with kids. Nice open space for picnics, studying, frisbee and other park activities.
The Hidden JEWEL in La Crosse and if You have Children it is a MUST and once You are finished at the Park...it is off to RUDYS for a Root Beer
The kids coulee playground is great but they need to bring back the zoo. I miss the monkeys and the other animals from my childhood.
Fun place for kids to play on playground and nice trail to look for animals and just to jog or walk
Off leash dog area!
This is just one of those places that everyone knows and loves. Many schools go on fieldtrips here, and its a place many grew up playing in. Its a classic. If youve never been here go asap!
This park is beautiful, well-maintained, and full of wildlife. We love to come with the kids and walk the trails to see turtles, snakes, birds, flowers, and butterflies. The playground area is very huge- loads of fun for the kids, and it has restrooms with flush toilets too.
Wish they would do a little bit more with this place, but kids always enjoy it!
A great park. 1st rate
Its really fun at the park and there is a lot of monkey bars and swings
Our kids are teenagers and still want to stop here for the park. Its part of their childhood. :-)
Great park but needs updating.
Weve been going there since our girls were little and now we take our grandkids there. Love it!
Great place for kids and families
Not as fun as used to be. I miss the zoo. They have the structure for kids to play on and the marsh trails to hike on. It has the eco zoo building which only has local animals and you have to pay to get in. The zoo was free only things you had to pay for was the food at the concession stand, the souvenir shop, tickets for the kid rides which was only like .25 to .75 and the food for the animals which was like .25. The was a main staple to our community. It was open year around and there was a play ground in there. They still have the 2 different shelters to have gatherings or parties. There are grills and bathrooms. There used to be a wading pool but that was taken out. You can sled on the hill during the winter.
Nature + family fun =win
Beautiful park but it’s flooded pretty frequently so you can’t fully enjoy it
Fun and safe
Wonderful park to visit. I wish the Eco building would be open on weekends for bathroom use.
Such a beautiful park and a wonderful amenity
I had a fantastic time and so did my friends
It was fun with my son.
Nice clean to take kids
