Ready for construction to be done. Other then that, fun times and great memories.
This is a very nice park. My kids love it. The park is clean and safe and there is plenty to see and do.
Like, what is the point of this city owned land? Weve paid a bargillion dollars in tax money to almost hit each other and try to look like Carmel with this road diets, yet we have public land just wasting away for years...priorities? Dont be scared away by the homeless living under the bridge. Theyre humans too. Im sure they enjoy beautiful Apperson way when they wake up in the morning....once again, priorities?
Wide open space. Thats about it. There are some old tennis courts that havent been used in years. Its in a great location and has potential, but as of right now, its just an empty field. Its a shame really. Hopefully the city will pay some attention to it soon.
Great place to chill and relax
Though the downtown substation moving here modified the landscape substantially, its quite peaceful and the tennis courts being consumed by vegetarion are a nice memorial to the temporary nature of mayoral guidance. Just a little to the North of the park is a small monument to those theoretically buried in Pioneer Cemetary, including but not limited to Chief Kokomo.
